INTRODUCTION
ABOUT THIS MANUAL:
Theintentofthispublicationstoprovidethecompetenttechnicianwiththeinformationnecessarytoassemblethe
AlamoIndustrialProduct.Thiswill,inturnprovideforcompletecustomersatisfaction.Thismanualisdesignedtobe
usedas a basic component guide.The assembly drawings shippedwiththe unit will beusedas to the assemblyof
componentsthatarespecifictoaparticulartractormodel,theseassemblydrawingsshouldalwaysbekeptwiththe
otherproductmanualsforfuturereference.
ItishopedthattheinformationcontainedinthisandotherManualswillprovideenoughdetailtoeliminatetheneed
forcontactoftheAlamoIndustrialTechnicalServiceDept.However,itshouldbeunderstoodthatmanyinstancesmay
arrivewhereincorrespondencewiththeManufacturerisnecessary.

ofinformation.Insomecases,thecorrespondenthasnevergoneouttolookattheequipmentandmerelycallsinquiring
of the problems described to him by the operator or customer.
PART NUMBERS:
Partnumberslistedinthismanualaresubjecttochangewithoutnoticeasdesignsaremadetoadapttothetractor
orforadesignimprovement.BeforeorderingpartsALWAYSMeasureoldparttomakecertainthatistheoneyouwill
need. This manual is designed to be used along with the Parts and Operators Manual.
Most calls received by Alamo Industrial Service can be classified into approx. 6 general categories.
1. HydraulicorMechanicalTroubleShooting.
2. RequestforTechnicalInformationorSpecifications.
3. MountingorFittingProblem.
4. SpecialServiceProblem.
5. EquipmentApplicationProblems.
6. TractorProblemInquiries.
HOW YOU CAN HELP:
1. Make certain the call is necessary! Most of the calls received may not be necessary if the Dealer Service
Technicianwoulddothefollowing.
2. ChecktheServiceInformationatyourDealershipprovidedbyAlamoIndustrial,Thiswouldinclude,Service
Bulletins,InformationBulletins, PartsManuals, OperatorsManualsor
ServiceManuals,manyoftheseareavailableviatheAlamoIndustrialInternetsite(Alamo-Industrial.Com).Attempt
todiagnoseorrepairproblembeforecalling.
3. IfacalltoAlamoIndustrialisneeded,CertainInformationshouldbeavailableandreadyfortheAlamoIndustrial
ServiceStaff.Suchinformationas, MachineModel,SerialNumber,YourDealerName,YourAccountNumberand
Anyotherinformationthatwillbeuseful. Thisinformationisvitalforthedevelopmentofapromptandcorrectsolution
totheproblem.Thiswillalsohelptodevelopadatabaseofproblemsandrelatedsolutions,whichwillexpediteasolution
tofuture problemsofa similarnature.
4. Thetechnicianmaybeaskedtoprovidedetailedinformation abouttheproblemincluding theresultsofany
required trouble shooting techniques. If the information is not available, The technician may be asked to get the
information and call back. Most recommendations for repairs will be based on the procedures listed in the Service
Manual/TroubleShootingGuideandtheinformationasreceivedfromthedealer/customers.Theserecommendations
arebasedontheasumptionthatthepropertestingandequipmentinspectionshavebeenperformedtodeterminethe
repairneeded.
