Thank you for purchasing the new Portable Air Condition SY-AC900. Read this
instruction booklet carefully in order to benefit fully from this product. Store the
user manual in a safe place for future reference.
Important Safeguards
Please read the Manual carefully before operating the machine
ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS:
Before plugging the appliance into the socket, check that:
. The voltage corresponds to the value indicated on the rating plate
that is located on the back of the appliance.
. The power socket and the electrical circuit are suitable for the
device.
. The socket matches the plug. If not, have the plug replaced.
. The power outlet is properly grounded. Failure to comply with these
instructions
exempts the manufacturer from all liability.
•The appliance is for indoor use only.
•Place the air conditioner on a fat surface and keep it placed vertically to ensure
the normal operation of its compressor.
•This appliance is for domestic use only and not for commercial use.
•Before inserting the mains plug into the socket, check that the mains supply
voltage and current rating corresponds with the power supply details shown on
the rear specification plate of the unit.
•Read all instructions, Rated Power Supply: Please connect the unit with
Grounded Power source: 220-240VAC, 50HZ.
•Never share the power outlet with other appliances
•Never connect or disconnect the power plug with wet hands to avoid electric
shocks
•Disconnect the power plug before dismantling, assembling or before cleaning.
•Avoid touching mobile parts of the appliance.
•Never insert fingers, pencils or any other objects though the guard whenever
the power plug is connected, especially while running.
•Persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental

capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge do not intend this appliance
for use, unless a person responsible for their safety has given them
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance
•The appliance is not intended for use by young children or infirm persons
unless they have been adequately supervised by a responsible person to
ensure that they can use the unit safely.
•Young children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
•Do not use the appliance for any other purposes than its intended use.
•Do not use the appliance if the guards are not fasten according to the
instructions.
•When the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer
or its service agent or a similar qualified person in order to avoid hazard
•Do not use your appliance with an extension cord unless it has been
checked and tested by a qualified electrician or electrical supplier
•In the case of any malfunction, return to an authorized service agent. Never
open the unit and try to repair it by yourself.
•The air conditioner unit must always be stored and transported upright,
If not, this can cause irreparable damage to the compressor; in case of
doubt we suggest to wait for at least 24 hours before you start air-
conditioning unit.
•Avoid restarting the air conditioning unit unless 3 minutes have passed since
being turned off, or the compressor may be damaged.
•Never use the mains plug as a switch to start and turn off the air conditioning
unit. Use the provided ON/OFF switch located on the control panel.
•Do not place the Portable Air conditioner next to heat sources or direct
sunlight.
•Always place the portable air conditioner on a dry stable place.
•Always use the original supplied accessories. Any third party accessory might
damage the appliance.
•The ideal environmental temperature for the portable air conditioner should be
15-35ºC.
•Do not use this appliance in a laundry.
•Position the appliance so that the plug is accessible and it shall be installed in
accordance with national wiring regulations.
•Clean the portable air conditioner according to the manual reference
•The tension of the portable air conditioner must meet the requirements. Any
damage incurred by an incorrect power source is not included in the warranty.
•Do not place the portable air conditioner in any place with water or other liquid.
Prevent water or any liquid from entering the portable air conditioner.
•Use the accessories provided by the manufacturer of the portable air
conditioner; otherwise, the portable air conditioner may damage.
•The following ambient temperature is appropriate for the portable air conditioner.

Special warning
• Place the A/C on even ground and install it vertically to ensure normal
operation of the compressor.
• The A/C should be at least 50cm away from surrounding objects. Keep air
inlet and outlet smooth.
• Do not operate the A/C near gasoline or any other inflammable liquid.
• Do not use spraying agent and other solvent or flammable substances near
the A/C; otherwise, its plastic may deform and electric parts can get
damaged.
• Do not expose the unit under direct sun light to avoid surface color fading
• Do not tilt the unit more than 35 degrees or upside-down while transporting
Energy Saving Tips
•Do not cover or restrict the airflow from the Outlet or Inlet grills.
•The minimum distance from furniture and wall should be 50CM.
•Keep the filters clean. Under normal conditions, Clean the filter approximately
every 30 days. Since the filters remove airborne particles, more frequent
cleaning maybe necessary, depending on the indoor air quality.
•Set the fan speed switch to high cool and the thermostat to the coolest position
for the initial start-up, then set the fan switch to Low cool and lower the
thermostat to a comfortable setting.
Suggestions
•If you want to get better effect, we suggest you not to use cooling function when
ambient environment is higher than 35 ºC.
Basic functions
• This unit offers cooling, dehumidifier and fan mode, ideal for home and office
use.
• The unit include 3 fan-speed level accessible by the panel control or the
remote control.
• This unit is designed with various protection functions such as 24 hours
programmable timer, auto condensation, intelligent temperature sensor and
water control with warning.
• The ideal temperature for using the portable air conditions is from
15ºC~35ºC.

Controls and Settings
1. Power key
Press this button to turn On/Off the air conditioner.
2. Auto Swing Key
In any mode, press this button to activate the Auto
swing function
3. Wind Speed key
Press this button to select High, Medium and low wind
speed.
4. Temperature / time up and down adjusting keys
Press the buttons in cooling mode to increase/reduce
the temperature.
Press the buttons in timing mode to adjust On/Off time;
Press Up and Down keys simultaneously to switch
between Fahrenheit and Celsius temperature.
5. Mode key
Press this button to select cool (cooling), fan only
(wind) and dry (dehumidification) mode
6. Timer key
In standby mode, press this button to set the ON
time.
In start-up mode, press this button to set the OFF
time.

7. Temperature / time display window
The LCD display indicates the adjusted temperature and time.
8. Remote controller receiving window
Remote sensor to receive signal from the remote controller.

Placement and installation
Placement
• Place the portable AC on a flat floor near a window
• Place the machine in a dry place, and keep it at least 50cm away from any
surrounding object.
Installation
• Screw the exhaust duct assembly (exhaust joint end) into the rear panel exhaust port
(anticlockwise).
•Insert the air exhaust hose into the window sealing plate, adjust the opening width of
the window so that the window can match with the sealing plate properly; the length
of the sealing plate is adjustable.

Incorrect installation
• It is important to keep the exhaust duct clean and smooth. Incorrect installation will
affect the functioning of the A/C.
• Prevent bending the exhaust pipe.
• Ensure air can flow smoothly in the duct.
Warning:
The exhaust duct is designed especially for this model.
Do not replace or stretch it or it will result in failure.
Notice:
The maximum developed length of the exhaust duct is 1,500 mm.
Shorten its length as far as possible while in use. Keep it horizontal while installation.
Operation method
Cooling mode
• When the A/C enters into the cooling mode automatically or the cooling mode is
selected after the power is turned ON, the cooling indicator lamp lights up.
• Press the Up/Down key to adjust the temperature (16 ºC ~30 ºC).
• Press the Speed key to select between High, Medium and Low speed.
Fan mode
• Press the mode button on the control panel or the remote control to choose the Fan
mode, the wind indicator lamp will turn on.
• Press the Speed button to select between High, Medium and Low speed.
• The temperature cannot be set under fan mode.
Dehumidification mode
• Press the mode button on the control panel or the remote control to select the
dehumidification mode. The dehumidification indicator lamp lights up.

• As shown on the picture below, remove the plug of the drainage cap, the aqueduct
and place the other end of the aqueduct into the water container or drain
channel.
• When entering dehumidification mode, if the room temperature ≥17 ºC (62 ºF),
the compressor will start to work. When the room temperature
≤15 ºC(59 ºF), the compressor stops. When the temperatures raises back to
≥17 ºC, the compressor restarts again.
(in order to protect the compressor, it will be restarted 3min. later).
• In dehumidification mode, the speed of the fan is by default at Low speed and
the wind speed is not adjustable.
• Temperature cannot be set.
Note: when using the dehumidify function, you should remove the exit pipe
components, or else this function will fail to perform and the error message of “FL”
will appear indicating that the water level is full.
Timer mode
• In standby mode, press the timer button to set ON time. Press the Up and Down
buttons to set the starting time (1~24H), the timer indicator lamp lights on.
• In Startup mode, press the timer button to set OFF time. Press the Up and Down
buttons to set the switch off time (1~24H), the timer indicator lamp lights on.
Important Note:
• Never turn off the air conditioner by unplugging it from the power supply. Always press the
"ON / OFF" button and wait a few minutes before unplugging it. This allows the device to perform
a check cycle to verify operation.
Water Drainage
The product has an automatic water evaporation system. The circulation of condensed water, cools
down the condenser. This not only increases refrigeration efficiency but also saves energy.
• When the water tank is full, the LCD display indicates “FL” and
the compressor stops working automatically. At this point:
1. Turn the unit off and unplug the power cord.
2. Remove the exhaust duct assembly.
3. Move the unit to an appropriate place.
4. Unscrew the water drainage cover and unplug the water blocker.
Use a water container to remove the water from under the unit.
5. Plug in the water drainage cover well.
6. Reinstall the exhaust duct assembly and start the machine.

Maintenance
Note: in order to avoid electric shock, please turn off the A/C and unplug before
maintenance or repair.
Cleaning the surface
Clean the housing with a duster or a soft wet cloth. Do not use any chemical solvent (such as benzene,
alcohol, gasoline). The surface may damage or may even deform the complete outer casing.
Air filter cleaning
Clean the air filters every 2 weeks. If the air filter is blocked with dust, the efficiency will reduce.
1) Pull the filter out towards you and then pull it up as shown below.
2) Wash the air filters by immersing it gently into warm water (about 40 ºC) with a neutral detergent,
rinse it and dry it thoroughly in a dry place.
3) Install the air filters carefully after cleaning the filters. Make sure they are well fit before using the unit
again.
If the filter is not too dirty, If the filter is very dirty,
use a vacuum cleaner clean it with warm water
to suck the dust. The ideal temperature of the water is 40ºC
Note:
1. Do not use high temperature water when cleaning the filter. (Optimum temperature is 40ºC) or harsh
detergents such as alcohol, petrol, benzene, etc..
2. In order to avoid filter screen deformation, keep the filter away from direct heat and place it in a dry
area.
3. Do not operate the machine without its filter. This can cause damage to the unit.
