of injury and fire.
e) When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws
or other small metal objects, that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals
together may cause burns or a fire.
f) Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs,
flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause
irritation or burns. (This advice is considered correct for conventional NiMh, NiCd, lead acid and lithium-ion cell types.
If this advice is incorrect for a cell design that differs from these, then the correct advice may be substituted.)
g) Do not use a battery pack or appliance that is damaged or modified. Damaged or modified batteries may exhibit
unpredictable behavior resulting in fire, explosion or risk of injury.
h) Do not expose a battery pack or appliance to fire or excessive temperature. Exposure to fire or temperature
above 130°C may cause explosion.
i) Follow all charging instructions and do not charge the battery pack or appliance outside of the temperature range
specified in the instructions. Charging improperly or at temperatures outside of the specified range may damage the
battery and increase the risk of fire.
j) Have servicing performed by a qualified repair person using only identical replacement parts. This will ensure that
the safety of the product is maintained.
k) Do not modify or attempt to repair the appliance or the battery pack (as applicable) except as indicated in the

FOR THE BEST RESULTS WHEN MOWING
Clear lawn of debris. Be sure that the lawn is clear of stones, sticks, wire or other foreign objects which could
be accidentally thrown out by the mower in any direction and cause serious personal injury to the operator
and others as well as damage to property and surrounding objects. Do not cut wet grass. For effective
mowing do not cut wet grass because it tends to stick to the underside of the deck preventing proper mowing
of the grass clippings. Cut no more than 1/3 the length of the grass. The recommended cut for mowing is 1/3
the length of the grass. Ground speed will need to be adjusted so the clippings can be dispersed evenly into
the lawn. For especially heavy cutting in thick grass it may be necessary to use one of the slowest speeds in
order to get a clean well mowed cut. When mowing long grass you may have to cut the lawn in two passes,
lowering the blade another 1/3 of the length for the secondcut and perhaps cutting in a different pattern than
was used the first time. Overlapping the cut a little on each pass will also help to clean up any stray clippings
left on the lawn. The mower should always be operated at full throttle to get the best cut and allow it to do the
most effective job of mowing. Clean underside of deck. Be certain to clean the underside of the cutting deck
11
after each use to avoid a build-up of grass, which would prevent proper mulching. Mowing leaves. The
mowing of leaves can also be beneficial to your lawn. When mowing leaves make sure they are dry and are
not laying too thick on the lawn. Do not wait for all the leaves to be off the trees before you mow.
WARNING: if you strike a foreign object, stop the motor. Pull out the battery power, thoroughly inspect
the mower for any damage and repair the damage before restarting and operating the mower. Extensive
vibration of the mower during operation is an indication of damage. The unit should be promptly inspected
and repaired.

9、REPLACE THE CUTTING BLADE (Fig. 8)
WARNING: Always protect your hands by wearing heavy gloves and/or wrapping the cutting edges with rags
or other materials when performing any maintenance on the blades. ALWAYS remove the battery packs when
servicing or transporting the mower.
• REMOVE BATTERY PACKS.
•While wearing leather padded gloves, wedge a block of wood between the blade and the mower deck in order
to prevent the blade from turning when the nut is being removed.
• Using a 5/8’’ (16 mm) wrench or socket, loosen the blade nut, and remove the blade. Turn the nut “COUNTER-
CLOCKWISE” to loosen it.
• Remove the blade nut and the blade.

10、MAINTENANCE AND CARE
Warning
WARNING: Always protect your hands by wearing heavy gloves or wrapping the cutting edges with rags
or other materials when performing any maintenance on the mower blade. Always remove the battery packs
when servicing or transporting the mower.
WARNING: Use proper eye protection while removing, sharpening, and installing the blade.
WARNING: A worn, cracked, or damaged blade can break and pieces of the damaged blade can become
dangerous projectiles. Thrown objects can cause serious injury. Inspect the blade regularly and do not operate
the mower with a worn or damaged blade.
NOTICE: Keep the blade sharp for best mower performance. A dull blade does not cut grass cleanly or mulch
properly.
A dull blade can be sharpened, but a blade that is excessively worn, bent, cracked, or otherwise damaged must
be replaced. A worn or damaged blade can break, causing blade pieces to be thrown from the mower.
If the blades are found to be bent, take the lawn mower to an authorized service center for inspection.
SHARPENING FREQUENCY
Sharpening the blade twice during a mowing season is usually sufficient under normal circumstances. Sand
causes the blade to dull quickly. If your lawn has sandy soil, more frequent sharpening may be required.
WHEN SHARPENING THE BLADE:
•Make sure that the blade remains balanced.
•Sharpen the blade at the original cutting angle.
•Sharpen the cutting edges on both ends of the blade, removing an equal amount of material from each end.
:Before performing any Maintenance or cleaning work, Always pull out the power
Do not spray the unit with water. Ingress of water may destroy the Switch combination unit and the electric
