therefore it’s important to follow the instructions contained in these warnings during all phases of the operation of this equipment, in addition, it is advisable
to apply any other precautions necessary for the utilization of the equipment in your operational ambient. Noncompliance with these precautions or specific
notices in other parts of this manual may result in personal injury or equipment damage.
To prevent damage to the device, read the orientations carefully, and keep this manual in a safe place for future reference. It is important to follow these
security directives to guarantee the integral security of this equipment:

qualified personnel authorized by BLOCKBIT. The act of opening the equipment violates the contractual terms, refer to chapter ;Warranty

This equipment was produced for the purpose of it being used in a fixed local, such as a laboratories or facilities for computer equipment. The
appliance can be damaged if exposed to frequent vibrations caused by constant locomotion;
This equipment must be installed and used by trained personnel;
Always keep the equipment free from dust;
Always keep the equipment free from moisture;
Always keep the equipment free from heat sources;
Clean only with damp clothes and with the equipment switched off;
Keep the equipment away from direct sunlight, also, do not let this device next to a radiator or heating system, excessive heat sources can
damage the equipment or render it inoperable, for more information check the equipment specification;
Never insert metallic objects into the holes of the appliance, it may cause electrical shock;
Avoid connecting network cables when the system is turned on, a sudden electric discharge may damage sensitive electronic components;
If this device is not being used for a long time period, disconnect it from the power source;
Never cover, muffle or seal the ventilation and air circulation holes of the equipment, they serve to optimize the heat dissipation, obstructing in any
way can cause overheating damage;

The use of an uninterruptible power source (UPS) or similar equipment is mandatory, this ensures the safety of the appliance against recurring
risks of oscillations on the power supply flow;
Ensure that the power source has the proper voltage and tension before plugging the equipment into an outlet;
For safety, use an outlet installed near the equipment and easily accessible;
When removing the power cord from the outlet, hold it by the plug, never do the removal by pulling the cable directly;
Do not drop, let the equipment fall or cause any impact on the device, it can cause irreversible structural damage;

Ensure that the equipment is secured on a firm and reliable surface, never install the product in an unstable location, such as an inclined shelf, an
unleveled floor or a location exposed to vibrations;
Do not take any action that creates potential risks to people or that make the equipment potentially unsafe.

This document is intended to help you and your company in the process of installing and using Blockbit appliances. After reading and applying the steps
described in this document, its recommended to read the User Manual, for a complete description of all features and functionality of the product.
The Blockbit appliances have portable dimensions, its electronic components are protected by a robust, sealed, reinforced metal cover. The appliances
have a compact and minimalist proportion, which makes the implementation on user facilities much simpler, also its solid structure enables their use as an
autonomous application in any work environment.
CE Compliance
This product has passed the CE environmental specification test. The test conditions for positive evaluation include the equipment being operated within
an industrial enclosure. In order to protect the product from being damage caused by ESD (electrostatic discharge) and EMI (electromagnetic interference)
leakage, we strongly recommend the use of industrial protection products compatible with CE.
FCC Class A Compliance
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class A digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are
designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference when the equipment is operated in a commercial environment. This equipment
generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instruction in this manual, may cause harmful
interference to radio communications. Operation of this equipment in a residential area is likely to cause harmful interference in which case the user will be
required to correct the interference at his own expense.

Blockbit's equipment is protected by a cardboard box containing a protective foam wrap, the main purpose of which is to protect the equipment from
impacts during transport. .The boxes are identified with the Blockbit logo and an identifying label stating the serial number and UUID of the appliance
The box must be received sealed, this ensures the inviolability and integrality of its .components

BB 1000-C-01 package specifications
The BB 1000-C-01 boxes have the Blockbit logo and an identifying label on the side (as shown below). This label contains the appliance's serial code and
UUID.

When opening the box, you will find the appliance attached to a support made of protective foam, the accessory box will be fitted on the side of the foam.

The BB 1000-C-01 front panel contains the following components:

Using a suitable console cable, it’s possible to connect to a terminal for diagnostic or configuration purposes. Parameters to configure the terminal: 115200
baud, 8 bits of data, no parity, 1st bit and no flow control, for more information, check the chapter;Console Access
3. 2.0 Ports:USB
Allow you to connect to any USB device, for example, a flash drive;
4. :Gigabit LAN Port
Eth0 is the main interface, it is a dynamic WAN interface, used for internet access and device provisioning, for more information see the chapter on Zero
Touch Provisioning in the GSM manual.
Eth1 is the management interface with the standard IP for configuring your appliance, for more information on these procedures, consult the appropriate
manual at the Blockbit Resource Center.
Right LED: If the LED is orange, it indicates that the connection speed is 100Mbps, if the LED is green, indicates that the connection speed is of
1000 Mbps;
Left LED: If the LED is lit, it indicates that the port is active. If it flashes, indicate that there is traffic. If the LED is off, the port is also off.
Using an RJ-45 cable, it’s possible to connect this appliance to a computer, a hub, a switch or any other equipment capable of making an Ethernet
connection. In addition, 1 pair (LAN2-LAN2) can be configured to do a in case of eventual failure.Lan Bypass

CONSOLE ACCESS

BB 1000-C-01 Installation
Before carrying out the installation itself, familiarize yourself with the safety orientations.
To install the device correctly, follow the instructions below:
1. The equipment has 4 anti-vibration rubber feet at the bottom part, when installing the appliance it should be supported by these feet;

2. Place the appliance on a reliable structure, that has firmness and adequate attachment to prevent accidents;
3. When turning the appliance on, first connect the power cord to the power-in port;
4. After, plug the power cord into the electrical outlet;
