WallRack Accessories Installation:
1. WallRack “Wall-Plate” Installation:
A. Tools & Fasteners
•3/8” Power Drill
•1/8” x 3” Long Carbide Drill Bit
•T-30 Torx Bit {5/16”Screw}
•(3) 5/16” x 2-1/2” Long Lag Screws
Part #17505 {Included}
•Pencil
•Tape Measure
•Stud Finder
•Blue Line or Laser Level
B. Installation:
a) Locate center of stud with Stud
Finder for placement of the first
WallRack #17502 Powder Coated or WallRack #17503 Stainless Steel
b) Snap a line with the Blue Line or Laser and make a mark with pencil at
approximately 60” from the floor to the first mounting hole position
c) Hold rack straight and center hole over first mark position, the bottom hole and
mark the upper hole at 12” center to center, which would be the 1st hole down
from the top
d) Remove the rack and drill approximately 2-1/2” deep into drywall and stud with
1/8” x 3” Drill Bit on center of the (2) rack holes & (1) bottom hole
e) Align the Wall-Plate #17621 & WallRack #17502 with its holes and using the Drill
& T-30 Torx Driver screw the (3) Lag Screws #17505 into the wall tightly
f) Now offset the next bottom Plate & Rack hole down by 12” vertical and 16”
center-to-center horizontal, depending on stud placement, yielding
approximately 48” from the rack bottom hole to the floor
g) Repeat steps “c” thru “e” completing on set of racks
h) Repeat steps “a” thru “g” as necessary to complete the wall installation using a
Blue Line or Laser Level

2. WallRack “Angle-Bracket” Installation:
A. Tools & Fasteners
•3/8” Impact Drill
•1/2” x 3” Long Carbide Drill Bit
•(2) 5/16” Lag Shields

•(2) 5/16” x 2-1/2” Long Lag
Screws Part #17505 {Included}
•T-30 Torx Driver {5/16”Screw}
•T-45 Torx Driver {3/8”Screw}
•(2) 3/8-16NC X 1” BHCS Torx Screw

•(2) 3/8-16NC Serrated Flange Nut

•9/16” Hex Wrench
•Concrete Adhesive
•Blue Line or Laser Level
B. Installation:
a) Locate center of bottom hole placement of the first WallRack
b) Snap a line with the Blue Line or Laser and make a mark with pencil at
approximately 60” from the floor to the first mounting hole position
c) Hold rack straight and center hole over mark position, the bottom hole and
mark the upper hole at 12” center to center, which would be the 1st hole
down from the top
d) Remove rack and drill approximately 2-1/2” deep into concrete with 1/2” x 4”
Drill Bit on center
e) Squirt in some Concrete Adhesive in both holes
f) Insert the (2) Lag Shields #17504 into the holes and tap flush with the hammer

g) Align “as shown” the Angle Brackets #17488 with the holes and Sleeves and
insert the Lag Screws #17505 using the T-30 Torx Driver and tighten
h) Now align the WallRack with the end holes of the Angle Brackets and insert
Torx BHCS #12724 into rack top hole and run up Serrated Flange Nut #12688
and snug, then repeat with second hole and tighten both fasteners with the T-
45 Torx Driver and the 9/16” Hex Wrench
i) Next offset the bottom rack hole down by 12” vertical and over 16” center-to-
center horizontal, yielding approx. 48” from the rack bottom hole to the floor
j) Repeat steps “c” thru “h” completing on set of racks
k) Repeat steps “a” thru “j” as necessary to complete the wall installation using a
Blue Line or Laser Level
l) The Angle Brackets can also be used on Drywall with Studs & Brick, reference
Steps #1B(a-g) for Drywall & Studs for Anchoring Brackets instead of
WallRacks, also Steps #3B(a-h) for Masonary & Brick Anchoring Brackets
instead of WallRacks and the attachment of the Angle Brackets & WallRack will
remain the same as Steps #5B(g-j) as above

3. WallRack “Strut-Mount” Installation:
A. Tools & Fasteners
•3/8” Power Drill

B. Installation:
a) Locate center of studs with Stud Finder for placement of the U-Strut
Spanners Part #15720 {18”Shown as reference only}
b) Snap a line with the Blue Line or Laser and make a mark with pencil at
approximately 60” from the floor across the five-foot or ten-foot span you
intend the hang the racks
c) Next snap second line 12” below the first and a third 12” below the second
d) Mark with a Pencil the centers of the studs on the snap lines
e) Now drill approximately 2-1/2” deep into drywall and stud with 1/8” x 3”
Drill Bit on centers of the Pencil Locations
f) Align a U-Strut #17520 Spanner Slots and Level the Spanner, then with the
Drill & T-30 Torx Driver screw the Lag Screws #17505 into the slot and wall
till tight, and repeat for each of the remaining spanners
g) Now place the WallRacks #17502 over the spanners on approximately 16”
centers staggered on 12” offset as shown below

h) Insert a 3/8-16NC BHCS #12724 thru the top hole of the WallRack and place
a 3/8-16NC Strut Nut #17525 into the Spanner behind the screw and hand
tighten, and do the same for the bottom hole which is 12” center-to-center
from the top hole
i) Using a drill with the T-45 Torx Driver and holding the Strut-Nut #17525
in-place while holding the rack perpendicular with the spanners tighten
both screws
j) Repeat steps “g” thru “i” for all the WallRacks on these Strut Spanners
k) Repeat steps “a” thru “j” as necessary to complete the wall installation
using a Blue Line or Laser Level
