Platform Safety
WARNING: Do not use if your health status would impair safety when
operating a platform. Certain medical conditions, medication, and alcohol or
drug use may prevent safe use of a platform.
WARNING: Ensure platforms are transported securely when fitted to roof
racks or inside a vehicle. A platform that works loose could cause injury or
sustain damage, making it unsafe for use.
WARNING: Keep the platform and its exposed metal components away from
‘live’ power sources. Contact with a power source could present a
dangerous hazard to operator and/or bystanders.
WARNING: Do not exceed the maximum load. Ensure the operator, work tools
and materials do not exceed the maximum load stated in the specifications.
WARNING: Check the platform before each use. Ensure the locking
mechanisms are correctly seated in the locked position before attempting to
climb the platform. Not doing so could cause the platform to collapse
abruptly.
WARNING: DO NOT place hands or other body parts between the rungs when
closing the platform.

2
WARNING: Be careful not to place fingers near the locking hinges when opening or
closing the platform.
WARNING: ALWAYS ensure that the hinges are correctly locked in place before
placing any weight on the platform.

• Ensure the platform is suitable for the intended application
• Always wear suitable shoes that provide good grip. Ensure wet paint, dirt, oil,
water, snow or other fluids and lubricants are removed from the work area before
use
• Platforms should always be comprehensively inspected on delivery, before first
use, and before every subsequent use. Platforms intended for commercial use
must be inspected for damage every day. Do not use if damaged
• Always assess the work area prior to setting up the platform. Ensure the surface is
flat and secure, there are no obstacles or hazards present, and that the platform is
suitable for the task
Intended Use
Provides temporary support as a workbench, platform or for accessing higher
areas. Not to be used for any purpose other than described in these instructions.
Not intended for long-term usage or for commercial or trade use.
