established quality standards and are accompanied by a
limited warranty against defective materials and
workmanship. In terms of this warranty, Falcon or an
authorised Dealer may conduct reasonable repairs or
replacement of products or parts of products, as required.

A warranty claim has been reported to an authorised
Dealer within the prescribed warranty period for the
product concerned.

PRODUCT RANGE PRODUKREEKS
The Falcon family of precision turf implements enables
users to achieve extremely high quality finishes on a
variety of surfaces under turf.
These specialised mowers cut and disperse material in a
controlled and safe manner. These attributes make this
family of implements a popular choice on sports fields, golf
courses and other amenities.
The range consists of two models, namely the F21
TurfPro Finishing Mower and the Rotagang®, with working
widths of 2,1 and 1,72 m respectively.

The implement is equipped with a standard 3-
point hitch for
attachment to the tractor, including a flexible link for top
link attachment.

The implement is provided with two means of attachment
to the tractor, each used in specific circumstances.
1. Carrier frame: Used ONLY for lifting and transporting
the implement between work sites.
2. Telescopic drawbar: For towing the implement while
cutting.

The implement is equipped with a telescopic drawbar (Fig.
4-A) which extends while towing the implement. It also has
the capability to retract when positioning the tractor in
relation to the implement (e.g. when attaching / detaching
the carrier frame).

chains which require adjustment prior to use of the

/Set the length of the drawbar extension check-chain
(Fig. 4-B) to control the maximum extension of the
drawbar when towing.
/Set the lengths of the drawbar lateral check-chains
(Fig. 4-C) to prevent excessive articulation of the
drawbar, and to prevent the likelihood of contact
between the drawbar and tractor tyres while
cornering.

guards in place and in good condition. Anti-rotation
chains must be attached.
WReplace damaged or missing PTO guard parts with
original spare parts only.
WDo not approach the rotating PTO drive shaft, and
avoid loose-fitting clothing to prevent entanglement.

Due to the many variations in tractor and implement hitch
configurations, it is likely that the supplied PTO drive shaft
will have to be cut to suit the operating distance between
the tractor and the implement.

driveshaft and the implement (Fig. 5-A).
/Ensure that universal joint operating angles (Fig. 5-B)
are not exceeded and that over-compression or over-
extension of the PTO drive shaft is avoided.

The working height of the implement is set by adjusting the
position of the side panels or skids in relation to the
implement deck.

operation of an agricultural tractor and any attached
equipment is carried out in accordance with all applicable
laws, regulations and practices relating to safe and
responsible operation.

selection and NOT engine speed.
/Tractor engine speed must be pre-set to continually
provide the specified PTO input speed, while forward
speed should be controlled by appropriate gear
selection.
/In general, the optimal gear selection can be identified
by selecting the highest forward speed which does not
result in stalling or the ejection of large unprocessed
pieces of material.
/Forward speed, material volumes and material density
should be controlled in order to prevent unnecessary
reduction of the equipment lifespan, as well as other
damage and failures not covered under warranty.
/In the case of the Rotagang®, care must be taken to
limit forward speed while cornering. This will limit the
likelihood of the “slingshot” effect causing the
implement to drift towards nearby obstacles.

the drive belt chamber, possibly accompanied by
burning odours.

visible and in a legible condition.

oil levels and thoroughly lubricate all specified
lubrication points.
/Store the implement in a clean, dry, weather-protected
area.

hand side and rear covers. Lift and slide out covers.
