SAFETY GUIDELINES - PLEASE READ BEFORE USE
WARNING: Important! Read and understand these instructions before installing or
using the IV-O2 holder. Ensure that the IV-O2 holder is installed as de-
scribed in the following paragraphs before use. If the IV-O2 holder is not
properly installed, personal injury and/or property damage could result.
WARNING: Do not use this product without proper instruction from a healthcare pro-
fessional.

injury caused by improper installation, assembly or use of this product.
WARNING: If components are damaged or missing, contact your Graham-Field Health
Products dealer immediately. DO NOT use substitute parts.
Install O2 holder on sideframe
1. Install O2 holder (lower section of
IV-O2 holder) on left-rear-sideframe
lower rail: Insert U-bolt over the
lower rail, then through O2 holder
lower bracket as shown in picture at
right. Install washers and wing nuts
on U-bolt ends, securing O2 holder
to lower rail.
2. Install O2 holder on sideframe
backpost: Insert U-bolt over back-
post, then through O2 holder upper
bracket as shown in picture at right.
Install washers and wing nuts on
U-bolt ends, securing O2 holder to
left backpost.
3. Tighten all four wing nuts until
holder is secure on sideframe. Ensure
that O2 holder is securely attached to
sideframe before proceeding.

Assemble IV-O2 holder
1. Install intermediate tube (middle section) on O2 holder (lower section) as shown in picture at lower left:
Slide middle pole over lower pole until button lock pops out of the hole in middle pole. Ensure that
button lock protrudes fully from hole.
2. Install IV hanger (upper section) in intermediate tube (middle section) as shown in picture at lower left:
Slide upper pole into middle pole to desired height and position until the height-adjustment button lock
pops out of the appropriate hole in middle pole. Ensure that button lock protrudes fully from hole.
Adjust IV hanger height
1. Depress height-adjustment button lock until IV hanger slides freely inside intermediate tube.
2. Slide IV hanger inside intermediate tube to desired height and position until the height adjustment
button pops out of the appropriate hole in intermediate tube. Ensure that button lock protrudes fully
from hole.
WARNING: Do not use IV-O2 Holder unless assembled as
described. Ensure that all components are se-
curely installed before use, and that all button
locks protrude fully through holes.
Note: After installing O2 bottle in O2 holder, tighten thumb screw shown
in picture at left until O2 bottle is secure and does not rattle in O2
holder.
Maintenance
Check IV-O2 holder at least once a week to ensure that it is not bent
or damaged, and that all parts lock securely in place and will not
accidentally unlock. Wipe IV-O2 holder with a soft cloth
and dry immediately if exposed to moisture. If
necessary, wash with a mild soap and water
solution and rinse; never use abrasive
cleansers on IV-O2 holder.

Lock IV hanger in place with bolt
Tools needed: Needlenose pliers,
Phillips screwdriver,

/ 16 " wrench
You may wish to use bolts, rather than button
locks, to secure either or both of the two locking
positions shown in the picture at right. The
following instructions will explain how to disas-
semble the IV hanger from the intermediate tube,
then reassemble in locking configuration: You will
remove the IV hanger from the intermediate tube,
remove the button lock from the IV hanger,
reinstall the IV hanger in the intermediate tube,
and install the bolt and nut to secure and lock IV
hanger and intermediate tube into place.
1. Depress button lock until IV hanger slides
inside intermediate tube; lift IV hanger out
from intermediate tube.
2. Remove button lock from IV hanger: Depress
button while holding button lock with
needlenose pliers, as shown in picture at right.
Remove button lock from IV hanger.
3. Insert IV hanger into intermediate tube; slide
IV hanger inside intermediate tube to desired
height position, so that appropriate holes are
aligned, as shown in picture at lower right.
Insert bolt through both IV hanger and
intermediate tube as shown.
4. Install nut on bolt. Use Phillips screwdriver
and 7/16" wrench to tighten nut until IV
hanger, intermediate tube, bolt and nut are
secure.
5. If you wish to lock intermediate tube in place
in O2 holder (lower locking position), follow
steps 1-4 to remove lower button lock and
install bolt and nut.
WARNING: Do not use IV-O2 Holder unless assembled as described. Ensure that all
components are securely installed before use.

Adjust IV hanger height with locking bolt
1. Use Phillips screwdriver and 7/16" wrench to
loosen nut that secures bolt through IV
hanger and intermediate tube. Remove nut
from bolt. Remove bolt, taking care that IV
holder does not fall.
2. Slide IV hanger inside intermediate tube to
desired height and position, so that appropri-
ate holes are aligned. Insert bolt through both
IV hanger and intermediate tube.
3. Install nut on bolt. Use Phillips screwdriver
and 7/16" wrench to tighten nut until IV
hanger, intermediate tube, bolt and nut are
secure.
WARNING: Do not use IV-O2 Holder unless assembled as described. Ensure that all
components are securely installed before use.
