2.C.3 Image Files
Drag and Drop the images from Windows® onto SundayPlus. Use the following file formats…
Adobe PhotoShop™ (.psd)
Bitmap (.bmp)
GIF (.gif)
PNG (.png)
JPEG (.jpg and .jpeg)
PICT (.pct and .pict)
TIFF (.tif and .tiff)
Each Cue can hold only one Background
Image or Movie and one Text File. If
you want to display a different
background with each verse of a song,
you will need to break the song into a
series of cues.
Do not overload your BIN with images. Images are actually OPEN
and taking up RAM when you LOAD them into the BIN area. The
more images you bring in the more memory is used. If you have a
Large Slide Show, try placing the images in a PowerPoint®
Presentation and then insert that ppt file into SundayPlus or use a
Nested Cue.

If you want to know more about Images, select TOOLS and
HELP inside of SundayPlus.

2.C.4 Movie Files
Drag and Drop Movies from Windows® onto SundayPlus. Use the following file
formats… SundayPlus prefers Quicktime® movies. We’ve found the best settings
usually come from the Sorenson™ family of CODECs. More specifically, Sorenson3™
works well in most systems.
DV Movies This popular format carries the ".dv" extension.
QuickTime Movies™ These files carry the ".mov" extension.
MPEG-1 or MPEG-4 These are nicely compressed files that were defined by
the Moving Picture Experts Group (MPEG). SundayPlus supports the MPEG-1
and MPEG-4 (and MPEG2 with the QuickTime MPEG-2 Playback Component
add-on available from www.quicktime.com) formats. These files carry the
".mpg" extension.
AVI These files carry the ".avi" extension.
Macromedia Flash Movies These files carry the ".swf" extension.
QuickTime VR Here's something you don't find everyday! SundayPlus will
load and play QuickTime VR. Like the Flash files, you may access some of the
interaction by using your mouse on the projector or audience screen. While
these files also carry the ".mov" extension.
If you want to know more about Movies, select TOOLS and
HELP inside of SundayPlus.
8
2.C.5 Movie Prep
Movies will appear in the BIN as a BLACK Thumbnail. Right click on the BLACK
square and select “PREP”. The Movie Prep Window will open. Click on the picture
and the thumbnail will be set to that picture. Also on the Prep window you will find a
Loop Button and volume control.

2.D Additional Media Types:
A Nested Cue will allow you to “link” from one Cuelist to another.
This tool is very useful if you have a lot of slides or if you have
Different people working on different areas of the same service.
Look in HELP for more information on Nested Cue.
2.D.2 PowerPoint®
2.D.3 Sound
2.D.1 Nested Cue
Right-click on any open cue. You will find three options to insert media…
PowerPoint® can be played though SundayPlus 2.4. The link between the two is
PowerPoint® Viewer 2003. This viewer allows for full PowerPoint® support.
1. Make sure that the PowerPoint ® Presentation you are wanting to show is located
on the computer hard drive and the file is NOT Read Only.
2. Make sure that PowerPoint® is NOT running
3. Make sure that you have only one instance of PowerPoint® Viewer 2003 installed
(and no other version of the viewer)
4. Make sure that your computer display settings are 1024 x 768 (or 800 x 600) on
both monitor 1 and 2
PowerPoint® presentations will only show on a full congregation screen. If you
run one inside of SundayPlus and you are not hooked up to a projector, you will
only see a small corner of the projection. You can see it, however, if you set
your computer screen to full coverage (CTRL+1) before opening the
PowerPoint® presentation in SundayPlus.
SundayPlus will play .wav, .mp3, .mp4, .aiff and .midi files. Insert the file and click on
it to start. Three ways to stop it… Key “S” (Stop), Key “L” (Bail to Logo), Key “B”
(Bail to Black)
If you want to know more about additional media, select

2.E.1 GoFile: Don’t Leave Home Without it!
A GoFile is a tool in SundayPlus that allows the user to create a Cuelist in one location
and move it to another location, without loss of data.
If you try to move a Cuelist (.cst) on it’s own, the associated files will not move with it.
The key to understanding this is that the files “loaded” in SundayPlus are actually
located on your hard-drive. SundayPlus only “links” to the files, it doesn’t contain any
actual files.
1. Complete your Cuelist for your worship service and Save it. Name the
file with the date that you are preparing (ex:20FEB05_10AM). This
will be the created Cuelist (.cst)
2. Select File and GoFile.
3. A dialog box will open; select the created Cuelist from the files listed
and select the “Open” button. A folder will be saved to your desktop
with the same name. This is the GoFile. The folder will contain a copy
of the Cuelist and all of its linked files.
4. Remove the created Cuelist that is outside of the GoFile. Now the only
Cuelist should be the one inside the GoFile. Not necessary, but will
help with file management.
5. You can transport this “folder” via CD, USB Memory Stick, email or
across a network.
