Important safety instructions specific for the appliance
•Never use the forward and backward
movement lever at the same time as the appliance
could get significantly damaged!!!
Check the oil level before using the
appliance. Fill up oil if necessary (500ml SAE30
engine oil).
•Never work on slopes that are too steep
(max. 30°)
•Always work from left to the right on slopes,
never up and down. Be particularly careful when
changing direction.
•Pay attention to conditions of environment where
you are working. After the engine is switched on, the
power-driven appliance starts producing toxic burned
gases. These gases can be invisible and odourless.
Therefore the appliance must never be worked with in
closed or poorly ventilated spaces. Ensure
corresponding lighting for your work. Ensure good
stability when working in a wet environment, when
snowing or in icy conditions, on slopes, or on uneven
surfaces.
•Do not let any other persons get near the appliance.
Keep all visitors and bystanders, especially children and
ill or weak persons in a safe distance from the place of
your work. Make sure no other persons can touch the
appliance.

use should be kept in a dry place, at an elevated level if
possible, or locked to make them inaccessible to other

therefore cool down before refuelling, otherwise fuel
could ignite, which would cause severe burns. Make
sure the tank is not overfilled when refuelling. If fuel
runs off, it must be immediately removed and the
appliance cleaned. After you have finished refuelling,
check if the screw closure is fitted tightly to prevent it
from getting loosened as a result of vibrations during
your work.
