Description
2.1
Theory of Operation
The LED Flood Chamber has been developed especially for the safe operation of the CL42
LED Flood Systems. It consists of one chamber with adapters for one or two flood arrays,
work piece carrier plate, door safety system, ESD safe door with window and a separate
controller connection. The radiation systems can be started with the closing of the door.
The system is for manual working places. The chamber inside is made out of high
reflective stainless steel to make the stray light useable for the curing process.
The start signal for the radiation cycle can be actuated with the closing of the chamber door.
The window in the chamber door consists of special antistatic Polycarbonate to avoid
damages of sensitive electronically parts. The yellow tanning of the window pane gives
protection to the user against damages to the eyes due to blue light radiation with the use of
405 nm LED arrays. The UV stabilized Polycarbonate is transitive only in the spectra above
400 nm and for this protects the operator against damages due to UVA radiation.

Operation
5.1
Start of Radiation Cycle
As soon as the dual channel controller is switched on one radiation cycle can be started
if the chamber door is closed.
5.2
Door Safety Protection
The door safety system is to protect operator safety. The cure cycle will be interrupted
once the chamber door is opened during operation, an error message “Emergency stop”
will be displayed on the warning tab of dual channel controller and a warning beep
occurs. This error will be displayed if the cure cycle is interrupted by the user. The
radiation cycle can be start again until the warning message is cleared.
5.3
Shutdown
