Introduction
Thank you for buying our wind-up speaker pole. This pole is designed for use in event
technology. Our manual will explain how to use the pole properly. Please pay particular
attention to the safety information. Make sure that you have read and understood the user
manual before transporting, assembling, beginning to use and carrying out maintenance on
the pole.

Everyone involved with the installation, operation and maintenance of this device must:

device or the included accessories be damaged, please contact your dealer for more

- Ensure that the device is in good working condition and is safe to operate. Please follow
the advice and instructions as they are described in this user manual.
Damage caused by misuse and/or modifications made to the device are not covered by the
warranty.
This device does not contain any parts that need to be repaired or replaced by the user.
Should maintenance or repairs be necessary, they must be handled by a qualified
technician.
Intended use
The intended use of the pole is vertical lifting and lowering of loads. The pole is intended to
be mounted on a suitable subwoofer, and to lift and hold a suitable speaker. Use this
product only as described in this user’s manual. Any other use is a use not intended by the
manufacturer. Neither the manufacturer nor the supplier shall be liable for damages
resulting from this. Users who use this equipment for purposes not intended by the
manufacturer do so solely at their own risk.
When using the equipment for its intended use, the following parts, among others, must be
observed:
- Stability of the pole
- Compliance with maximum load capacity of the pole (30 kg)
- Total weight of the speaker pole (3.9 kg) and speaker to be mounted should not exceed
maximum loading capacity of the subwoofer
- Parts and mechanism should be undamaged
- Any cabling or wiring attached to the load lifted using this wind-up pole should not cause
hinder in or around the pole and its lifting mechanism, or be subjected to excessive pulling
tension or sharp bends as a result of insufficient cable lengths.
- Make sure all cabling or wiring attached to the pole or its load is laid out carefully to
prevent people from tripping and causing personal injury, or causing the pole to tip over as
a result of the sudden force on attached cabling.
f a defect occurs in this technical product, the equipment must be taken down immediately.
Further operation must be prohibited. Contact your dealer for an RMA (Return Merchandise
Authorisation).

Improper use
The following types of use and operations are prohibited:
- Lifting of persons or live animals
- Exceeding the permissible load ratings
- Carrying out of repairs. f a defect occurs please contact your dealer for an RMA (Return
Merchandise Authorisation)
- Operation by unsuitable or unauthorised persons

Operating instructions
Setting up the speaker pole
1. Determine a suitable location and make sure the total weight of the pole and
speaker to be mounted does not exceed the maximum load capacity of the
subwoofer. Position the speaker pole safely on the subwoofer with an M20 or 35
mm socket (M20/35 mm adapter included). Setting up is only permitted on a stable
and flat surface. t may be necessary to provide an appropriate substructure.
2. Check the horizontal orientation of the subwoofer and if necessary, level the
ground surface or structure. Finally check the vertical orientation of the pole using
a spirit level.
4. Now place your speaker onto the speaker flange. Please note that the
maximum operating weight of 30 kg must not be exceeded.
5. Secure the speaker on the speaker flange by tightening the tommy screw of the
speaker.
6. Loosen the tommy screw of the crank mechanism (B).
7. Fold out the inner part of the crank (A) from the handle housing. By operating
the hand crank, adjust the height of the speaker until the desired position is
reached.

8. Tighten the tommy screw again (B).
9. Fold the crank handle (A) back into the handle housing.

1. Loosen the tommy screw of the crank mechanism (B).
2. Fold out the inner part of the crank (A) from the handle housing.
3. Turn the crank until the tube is all the way down.
4. Loosen the tommy screw from the speaker and remove the speaker from the
stand.
5. Fold the crank handle (A) back into the handle housing.
6. Securely tighten the tommy screw (B) again.
7. Finally, check the speaker pole for defects and store it in a safe place.
Maintenance of the speaker pole
The following points should be checked periodically:
- The crank mechanism must operate smoothly. f necessary, maintain the
mechanism by applying grease.
- Does tommy screw loosen and tighten easily?
- Check the pole for defects and conformity with the safety guidelines in this
manual. f the pole shows visible signs of damage or does not function properly,
contact your dealer for an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorisation).
- The load plate label must remain in its original place and must be legible.
