THE NATURE OF HAZARDOUS SITUATIONS
The use of portable automotive lifting and support devices is subject to certain hazards that cannot be prevented by mechanical means,
but only by the exercise of intelligence, care, and common sense. It is therefore essential to have owners and personnel involved in the
use and operation of the equipment who are careful, competent, trained, and qualied in the safe operation of the equipment and its
proper use. Examples of hazards are dropping, tipping or slipping of loads caused primarily by improperly secured loads, overloading,
off-centered loads, use on other than hard level surfaces, and using equipment for a purpose for which it was not designed.

SETUP INSTRUCTIONS
   ThisisthesafetyalertsymbolusedfortheSETUPINSTRUCTIONSsectionofthismanualtoalertyoutopotentialpersonal

1. Screwthepostsupportintheroundbase.
2. Thread the large spin handle on the extension screw.
3. Install the bearing assembly in the receiver on top of the support tube.
4. Insert the extension screw assembly through the bearing and into the support tube until the underside of the spin handle rests on
the bearing assembly.
5. ThemodelKTI61077includesapedal.Inserttheotherendofthepedalthroughtheparallelangesofthepostsupport;raisethe
 pedalhighenoughsotheclevispincanbeinstalledthroughtheparallelangesofthepostsupport.Securetheclevispinwiththe
washers and cotter pin provided.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
   ThisisthesafetyalertsymbolusedfortheOPERATINGINSTRUCTIONSsectionofthismanualtoalertyoutopotential
personal injury hazards. Obey all instructions to avoid possible injury or death.
1. Makesurethevehicleisproperlysupported,stableandattherequiredworkheightbeforepositioningthestand(s)underthe
vehicle component to be supported.
2. Consultthevehiclemanufacturerfortheproperhandlingofthecomponentanduseofunderhoiststands.
3. Oncethestand(s)hasbeenpositionedproperlyunderthecomponent,holdthestand'ssaddleinplacewithonehandwhile
 turningthespinhandleinaclockwisedirectionwiththeotherhand.Removetheonehandfromthestand'ssaddlewhenitcomes
close to making contact with the component.
4. Continueturningthestand'sspinhandleinaclockwisedirectionuntilitappliespressureagainstthecomponent.Thispressure
should not exceed what is required to support the component. Excessive pressure might cause the vehicle or its component to
 becomeunstable.Additionalprecautionshouldbetakenwhenusingastandequippedwithafootpedalwhichcanraisethestand's
 saddleanotherinchmoreinheightandproduceasmuchas400poundsofforcewhendepressed.
5. Beforeremovingthestandfromthecomponent,makesurethecomponentissecurelyfastenedtothevehicleorproperly
 supportedbyanothermeans.Removalofthestandcanbeaccomplishedbyturningthespinhandleinacounterclockwise
direction until the stand's saddle is clear of the component.

potential personal injury hazards. Obey all instructions to avoid possible injury or death.
1. Alwaysstorethestandinawellprotectedareawhereitwillnotbeexposedtoinclementweather,corrosivevapors,abrasivedust,
or any other harmful elements. The stand must be cleaned of water, snow, sand, grit, oil, grease or other foreign matter before using.
2. Useageneralpurposegreasetolubricatetheextensionscrewandfootpedallinkageifsoequipped.
3. Everystandownerisresponsibleforkeepingthestandlabelscleanandreadable.Useamildsoapsolutiontowashexternal
surfaces of the stand. If product labels are lost or not legible, contact an authorized K-Tool International repair center for
replacements.
4. Inspectthestandbeforeeachuse.Donotusethestandifanycomponentiscracked,brokenorbent.Donotusethestandifithas
 looseormissinghardwareorcomponents,orismodiedinanyway.Takecorrectiveactionbeforeusingthestandagain.Premature
wearing or damage to components caused by loose or missing hardware is not eligible for warranty consideration.

K-Tool International warrants that all jacks and service-related equipment will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a
period of 2 years following the original date of purchase. This warranty is extended to the original retail purchaser only. If any jack or
service-related item proves to be defective during this period, it will be replaced or repaired, at K-Tool International’s option, without
charge. This warranty does not apply to damage from accident, overload, misuse or abuse, nor does it apply to any equipment which
has been altered or used with special attachments other than those recommended. This warranty does not cover repairs made by
anyonewhoisnotaK-ToolInternationalProfessionalLiftingEquipmentAuthorizedRepairCenter.
AllHDandXDjacksorservice-relatedequipmentwillbereplacedorrepairedatK-ToolInternational’soptionduringthe2yearwarranty

INSTRUCCIONES DE USO

   DEUSO,conelndeadvertirsobrelospeligrosdeaccidentespersonales.Observetodaslasinstruccionesparaevitar
lesiones o peligros de muerte.
1. Asegúrese que el vehículo esté adecuadamente soportada, que esté estable y a la altura de trabajo requerida, antes de colocar
la(s) base(s) de bajo del componente del vehículo a soportarse.
2. Consulte el fabricante del vehículo por la maniobra adecuada del componente y uso de las bases soporte bajo montacargas.
3. Una vez que la(s) base(s) (s) hayan sido colocadas adecudamente por debajo del componente, sostenga la base de la silla en su
lugar con una sola mano mientras que se gire el mango de rotación en el sentido de las agujas del reloj con la otra mano. Quite
la mano de la base de la silla cuando ésta esté al punto de hacer contacto con el componente.
4. Continúe a girar el mango de rotación de la base en el sentido de las agujas del reloj hasta que se aplique presión contra el
componente. La presión no debe exceder la que se requiera para soportar el componente. Una presión excesiva puede ocasionar
que se vuelva inestable el vehículo o su componente. Se deben tomar precauciones adicionales al momento de usar una base
equipada con un pedal de pie lo cual puede levantar la silla de la base una pulgada más de altura y produce de hasta 400 libras
de fureza cuando esté presionado.
5. Antes de quitar la base del componente, asegúrese que el componente esté seguramente sujetado al vehículo, o soportado
adecuadamente por otros medios. Se puede lograr extraer la base al girar el mango de rotación en el contrasentido de las agujas
del reloj hasta que la silla de la base se haya despejado del componente.

 suaveparalimpiarlassuperciesexternasdelabase.Silasetiquetasdelproductonosonlegiblesosisehayanperdido,co
muníquese con un centro de reparación autorizado de K-Tool Internatinal por los repuestos.

2. Vissezlagrandepoignéederotationdelavisderallonge.
3. Installez l'assemblage des roulements dans le récepteur sur le tube de soutien.
4. Insérez la vis de rallonge à travers le roulement et dans le tube de soutien jusqu'à ce que le dessous de la poignée de rotation
repose sur l'assemblage des roulements.

3. Unefoisquelesupportaétéplacécorrectementsouslecomposant,tenirlaselledusupportenplaceavecunemaintouten
tournant la poignée de rotation dans le sens horaire avec l'autre main. Enlevez votre main du support de la selle lorsque celle-ci
 vientprèsd'établirlecontactaveclecomposant.
4. Continuezdetournerlapoignéederotationdusupportdanslesenshorairejusqu'àcequ'elleappliqueunepressioncontrele
 composant.Cettepressionnedevraitpasdépassercequiestrequisandesoutenirlecomposant.Unepressionexcessivepourrait
 rendrelevéhiculeousoncomposantinstable.Uneprécautionadditionnelledevraitêtrepriseenutilisantunsupportéquipéd'une
