For your own safety please read this manual carefully before using the Kinsman KPA500!
In order to maintain good condition of the system and to ensure safe operation, it is absolutely necessary to
follow the safety instructions in this manual. Please read the back page of this manual before operating and
familiarise yourself with its functions/operations.

System Set-up
Place the Sub on a level surface. Insert a column Tower Spacer in to
the connection slot on the top of the sub. Connect the second Tower
Spacer on top of that, finally placing the Tower Speaker on the top.

Allows users to link another KPA500 via Bluetooth® to create a stereo pair.

Bluetooth® Connection
• The first time you connect a device to the KPA500, press the MODE button on the MP3 Player to enter Bluetooth® mode.
‘bt’ will be displayed on the LED panel.
• Next go to the Bluetooth® settings on your device and select the name ‘Bluetooth’ to connect to the KPA500.
Your device should automatically pair and connect to the KPA500.
How to connect two KPA500 Systems
It is possible to connect two KPA500 systems by Bluetooth® or wired with a XLR cable.
Wired Connection
• Connect the female end of the XLR cable to the male ‘LINE OUT’ on the first KPA500 and connect the female end of the
XLR cable to either MIC/LINE1 or MIC/LINE2 on the second KPA500 to create a stereo system.
Bluetooth® Connection
• Turn both units on
• Unit 1 - Press the MODE button to select ‘bt’ on the display, then press the ‘TWO STEREO LINK’ button. ‘bt:bt’ will be
displayed.
• Unit 2 - Press the MODE button to select ‘bt’ on the display, then press the ‘TWO STEREO LINK’ button. ‘bt:bt’ will be
displayed.
• The two systems will then automatically link together by Bluetooth® to create a stereo system.
2 & 7.
Adjusts the Echo/Delay effect on the Mic Inputs.
3, 8 & 13.
Adjusts the level of the input signal(s).
4 & 9.
MIC/LINE switches. Set the type of input; Mic or Line.
5 & 10.
1/4” (6.35mm) Jack Inputs for Line or Microphone Input.
6 & 11.
XLR Inputs for Line or Microphone Input.

POWER; Lights up when the KPA500 is powered up.
LIMIT; Lights when the output limiter is active. The output limiter will protect the speakers and amplifier,
attenuating the output signal to the amplifier. If the indicator stays lit, lower the level of the input signal.

LINE/MP3 switch; Set the type of input, LINE or MP3.

LINE; For AUX line input.

LINE OUT; XLR connector gives you the option to connect another powered speaker.

MASTER; Controls the overall level of all the inputs.

MUSIC; Adjusts the EQ presets, SPEECH / MUSIC / BASS BOOST.

POWER; Switch the system On or OFF.

AC IN socket; Connect the supplied power cable in here. First connect the cable to the KPA500, then plug in to a suitable
power socket.
Functions / Operation

To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, this apparatus should not be exposed to rain or moisture and objects filled with liquids, such
as vases, should not be placed on this apparatus.

Protect the power lead from being walked on or pinched, particularly at plugs, and the point where they exit from the amplifier.
• Unplug this amplifier during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
• Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the amplifier has been damaged in any way, such as
power supply lead or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the unit, or the unit has been exposed to rain
or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
• Never remove the casing of this apparatus.
• Never lubricate any part of this apparatus.
• Never place this apparatus on other electrical equipment.
• Keep this apparatus away from direct sunlight, naked flames or heat.
Only connect the power supply lead to an earth grounded AC receptacle in accordance with the voltage and frequency ratings on the
rear panel of this product.
WARNING: To prevent damage, fire or shock hazard, do not expose this unit to rain or moisture.
Unplug the power supply lead before cleaning the unit exterior (use a dry or slightly damp cloth only). Wait until the unit is completely
dry before reconnecting it to a power source.
This product should be located away from heat sources such as radiators, fan heaters, or other products that produce heat.
WARNING: THIS APPARATUS MUST BE EARTHED!
This product is supplied with an earthed plug. This is a safety feature. If you are unable to insert the plug into the outlet, contact an
electrician to replace your obsolete outlet. Do not defeat the safety purpose of this plug.
CAUTION: DO NOT attempt to remove the amplifier chassis, there are no user serviceable parts inside, refer servicing to qualified
personnel only.
Hazardous voltages may be present within the cabinet even when the power switch is off and the power lead is disconnected.
NEVER attempt to bypass the fuses or fit ones of the incorrect value.
Kinsman amplifiers and loudspeaker systems are capable of producing very high sound pressure levels which may cause temporary or
permanent hearing damage. Use care when setting and adjusting volume levels during use.
Your product is designed and manufactured with high quality materials and components, which can be recycled and reused.
When a crossed-out wheeled bin symbol is printed on a product it means that the product is covered by the European Directive
2002/96/ EC.
Please inform yourself about the local separate collection system for electrical and electronic products.
Please act according to your local rules and do not dispose of your old products with your normal household waste.
Correct disposal of your old product helps to prevent potential negative consequences for the environment and human health.
Environmental information
All unnecessary packaging has been omitted. We have tried to make the packaging easy to separate into three materials: cardboard
(box), polystyrene foam (buffer) and polyethylene (bags, protective foam sheet.) Your amplifier consists of materials which can be
recycled and reused if disassembled by a specialised company. Please observe the local regulations regarding the disposal of
packaging materials, exhausted batteries and old equipment.
CLEANING: Do not clean the plastic enclosure with solvents or other
chemical based cleaning products. Use a microfibre cloth or similar
to clean the system.
