IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using an electrical appliance, basic precautions should always be followed, including the
following:
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING (THISAPPLIANCE), Failure to follow the warnings and
instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.
WARNING–To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury:
1. Do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces.
2. Do not allow to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used by or near children, pets
or plants.
3. Use only as described in this manual. Use only manufacturer’s recommended attachments
4. Do not use with damaged cord or charger. If appliance is not working as it should, has been
dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, return it to a service center.
5. Do not pull or carry by cord, use cord as a handle, close a door on cord, or pull cord around sharp
edges or corners. Do not run appliance over cord. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
6. Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.
7. Do not handle charger, including charger plug, and charger terminals with wet hands
8. Do not put any object into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked; keep free of dust, lint,
hair, and anything that may reduce air flow.
9. Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body away from openings and moving parts.
10. Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
11. Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible liquids, such as gasoline, or use in areas where
they may be present.
12. Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches, or hot ashes.
13. Do not use without dust container and filter.
14. Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off-position before connecting to battery
pack, picking up or carrying the appliance. Carrying the appliance with your finger on the switch or
energizing appliance that have the switch on invites accidents.
15. Disconnect the battery pack from the appliance before making any adjustments, changing
accessories, or storing appliance. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the
appliance accidentally.
16. Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one
type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with another battery pack.
17. Use appliances only with specifically designated battery packs. Use of any other battery packs
may create a risk of injury and fire.
18. When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips, coins,
keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects, that can make a connection from one terminal to
another. Shorting the battery terminals together may cause burns or a fire.
19. Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If contact
accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help. Liquid
ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns.
20. Do not use a battery pack or appliance that is damaged or modified. Damaged or modified
batteries may exhibit unpredictable behavior resulting in fire, explosion or risk of injury.
21. Do not expose a battery pack or appliance to fire or excessive temperature. Exposure to fire or
temperature above 130°C may cause explosion.
22. Follow all charging instructions and do not charge the battery pack or appliance outside of the
temperature range specified in the instructions. Charging improperly or at temperatures outside of
the specified range may damage the battery and increase the risk of fire.

23. Have servicing performed by a qualified repair person using only identical replacement parts. This
will ensure that the safety of the product is maintained.
24. Do not modify or attempt to repair the appliance or the battery pack except as indicated in the
instructions for use and care.
25. The appliance should be stored, used and charged at a temperature range 40°F~104°F.

AVERTISSEMENT. Pour réduire les risques d’incendie, de choc électrique ou de blessure:
1. Ne pas exposer à la pluie, Ranger à l’intérieur.
2.Ne pas permettre aux enfants de jouer avec l’appareil. Une attention particulière est nécessaire
lorsque l’appareil est utilize par des enfants ou à proximité de ces derniers.
3.N’utiliser que conformément à cette notice avec les accessories recommandés par le fabricant.
4.Ne pas utiliser si le cordon ou la fiche est endommagé. Retourner l’appareil à un atelier de
reparation s’il ne fonctionne pas bien, s’il est tombé ou s’il a été endommagé, oublié à l’extérieur ou
immergé.
5.Ne pas tirer soulever ni trainer l’appareil par le cordon. Ne pas utiliser le cordon comme une
poignée, le coincer dans l’embrasure d’une porte ou l’appuyer contre des arêtes vives ou des coins.
Ne pas faire rouler l’appareil sur le cordon. Garder le cordonà l’écart des surfaces chaudes.
6.Ne pas débrancher en tyrant sur le cordon. Tirer plutôt la fiche.
7. Ne pas manipuler le chargeur, y compris la prise du chargeur, et les bornes du chargeur avec les
mains mouillées
8.N’insérer aucun objet dans les ouvertures. Ne pas utiliser l’appareil lorsqu’une ouverture est
bloquée. S’assurer que de la poussière, de la peluche, des cheveux ou d’autres matières ne
réduisent pas le debit d’air.
9.Maintenir les cheveux, les vêtements amples, les doigts et toutes les parties du corps à l’écart des
ouvertures et des pieces mobiles.

14. Emêcher une mise en marche accidentelle. S’assurer que l’interrupteur est à la position arrêt
avant de raccorder la batterie, de lever ou de déplacer l’appareil. Transporter
l’appareil en gardant un doigt sur l’interrupteur, ou mettre sous tension un appareil dont l’interrupteur
est à la position marche peut causer un accident.
15. Retirer la batterie de l’appareil avant d’effectuer des réglages, changer les accessoires ou ranger
l’appareil. Ces mesures de sécurité ont pour but d’éviter une mise en marche accidentelle de
l’appareil.
16. Recharger uniquement avec le chargeur prescrit par le fabricant. Un chargeur convenant à un
type de batterie peut présenter un risque d’incendie lorsqu’il est utilisé avec une autre batterie.
17. Utiliser uniquement les batteries recommandées pour l’appareil. L’utilisation d’autres types de
batteries peut présenter un risque de blessure ou d’incendie.
18. Lorsque l’appareil n’est pas utilisé, tenir la batterie loin d’objets métalliques comme des
trombones, des pièces de monnaie, des clés, des clous, des vis ou autres petits objets
qui pourraient établir une liaison entre les bornes. Un courtcircuit des bornes des batteries peut
causer des brûlures ou un incendie.

19. En condition d’usage abusif, du liquide peut s’échapper de la batterie ; éviter tout contact avec ce
liquide. En cas de contact accidentel, rincer abondamment avec de l’eau. En cas de contact avec les
yeux, consulter également un médecin. Le liquide projeté peut causer des irritations ou des brûlures.
20. Ne pas utiliser une batterie ou un appareil endommagé ou qui a été modifié. Des batteries
endommagées ou modifies peuvent avoir un comportement imprévisible pouvant causer un incendie,
une explosion ou un risque de blessure.
21. Ne pas exposer une batterie ou un appareil à la flamme ou à des températures excessives.
L’exposition à une flamme ou à des températures supérieures à 130 °C peut causer une explosion.
22. Respecter toutes les instructions de chargement et ne pas charger la batterie ou l’appareil à des
températures qui ne sont pas incluses dans la gamme de températures indiquées dans la notice

1. Assemble the dust cup in a clockwise fashion
following the indication arrows on the machine.
2. Install the dust cup by aligning it and then turning
clockwise, following the indication arrows on the
machine.
3. Insert the metal tube into the body until you hear
aclick. Insert the motorized brush to the head of
the metal tubeuntil you hear a click.
4. Your vacuum cleaner is now ready for operation.
will turn on in the default (Low Suction) setting.
Uponpressing the ON/OFF switch,the
machine will start in the default lowspeed
mode. Switch to high speed mode by pressing
the speed control button.

HANDHELD VACUUM SETTING
Insert your desired accessory into the body of the
machine until your hear a click.
BATTERY CHARGING
1. A single flashing light on the battery pack
indicates that the power supply has been
drained and the battery must be charged.
2. When charging, the number of lights
flashing on the battery pack represents the
total charge. First a single light will ash,
then asecond, then all three. When the
battery is fully charged, all lights will be
solid.
3. When the battery is fully charged, the light
indicating a full charge.

The machine and the floor brush are
placed at a 90 degrees angle with
the wall (as seenbelow). Fromhere
the machine can slide into the wall
mount and the accessories can be
situated within the wall mount for
convenient storage.

4. CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
HOW TO EMPTY THE DUST CUP
AND CHANGE THE FILTER
1. Remove the dust cup by twisting
counterclockwise until it unlocks.
2. Press the easy release buttonto
empty any debrisfrom the dust bin as
shown in the gure below.
3. The filter can be removed by pulling
on the tab connected to the filter.

4. Wash both the HEPA and sponge filter.
6. Put the filter and HEPA back into the
dust cup.
5. Be sure to dry the HEPA and sponge filter
completely.

HANDHELD VACUUM SETTING
1. Disconnect the power supply and slide the brush
lock down as shown below

3. Remove the roller brush and carefully cleanout
any hair or foreign material

5. MAINTENANCE
MACHINE MAINTENANCE
• Do not carry out any maintenance or repair work other than that shown and described in this
Operating Manual.
• Store the machine indoors.
• Do not use or store it below 37.4 degreesF (3 degrees C). Ensure the machine is at room
temperature before operating. Clean the machine only with a dry cloth.
• Do not use any lubricants, cleaning agents, polishesor air fresheners on any part of the machine.
VACUUMING
• Do not use without the dust bin and filters in place.
• Fine dirt such as plaster dust or flour should only be vacuumed in very small amounts.
• Do not use the machine to pick up sharp hard objects, small toys, pins, paperclips, etc. They may
damage the machine.
• When vacuuming, certain carpets may generate small static charges in the dust bin or wand.

dust bin with a damp cloth only.
• Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
• Do not rest the machine on chairs, tables, etc.
• Do not press down on the nozzle with excessive force when using the machine as this may cause
damage
• Do not leave the cleaner head in one place on delicate floors.
• On waxed floors, the movement of the cleaner head may create an uneven luster. If this happens, wipe
with a damp cloth, polish the area with wax, and wait for it to dry.
• To make emptying the dust bin easier, it is advisable to remove the wand and floor tool.
• To minimize dust/allergen contact when emptying, encase the dust bin tightly in a plastic bag to
empty.
• Remove the dust bin carefully from the bag.
• Seal the bag tightly, dispose as normal.
• Ensure the machine is disconnected from the charger before removing the dust bin.
• Remove the wand and floor tool.
• Clean the dust bin with a damp cloth only.
• Do not use detergents, polishes or air fresheners to clean the dust bin.
• Do not put the dust bin in a dishwasher.
• Ensure the dust bin is completely dry before replacing.
• To replace the dust bin, align the tabs on the dust bin with the grooves on the main body and slide
upwards into place until the catch clicks.

• Your appliance has washable parts, which require regular cleaning. Follow the instructions below.
WASHING THE FILTERS
• Wash the Flters at least once a month
• More frequent washing may be required where the user vacuums fine dust or uses the machine
intensively.
• Ensure the machine is disconnected from the charger before removing the filter.
• Check and wash the filter regularly according to instructions to maintain performance.
• The filter may require more frequent washing if vacuuming fine dust
• To remove the filter lift it out of the top of the machine.
• Wash the filter with cold water only
• Run water over the outside of the filter until the water runs clear.
• Squeeze and twist with both hands to make sure the excess water is removed.
• Lay the filter on its side to dry. Leave to dry completely for a minimum of 24 hours.
• Do not put the filter in a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, oven, microwave or near an
open flame.
• To refit, place the dry filter back into the top of the machine. Make sure it is seated properly.

WHAT THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:
Lavex will not warrant coverage for product failure or damages that arise under the following conditions:
• Parts of the vacuum that require replacement under normal use, such as bumpers, brushrolls,
belts, and filters.
• Damages or malfunctions caused by negligence, abuse, improper use, or actions not in
accordance with the User Manual.
• Equipment used for residential or other non-commercial purposes.
• Defects or damages caused by improper maintenance, use of any replacement parts other than
Lavex Janitorial original parts, wear and tear, misuse, abuse, vandalism, or Act of God.
Lavex Janitorial will, at its option, repair or replace a defective vacuum or vacuum part that is covered by
this warranty. As a matter of warranty policy, Lavex Janitorial will not refund the consumer’s purchase price.
Lavex Janitorial does not recognize third-party sales; the warranty is null and void if the unit is purchased
from any non-authorized dealer.
The seller shall in no event be liable for direct, indirect, or consequential damages in connection with
Lavex Janitorial products.
This warranty explicitly does not apply to, and Lavex Janitorial is not responsible for, any warranty claims
made on products sold or used outside of the United States.
Lavex Janitorial attempts to ensure that their products comply with codes and regulations dictating sales,
construction and use. However, Lavex Janitorial cannot guarantee compliance, and cannot be responsible
for their products’ use. Be sure to review product application as well as local and national codes and
regulations to ensure compliance before use.
Any action for breach of this warranty must be commenced within 1 year of the date on which the breach
writing signed by the parties. The laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania shall govern this warranty
and the parties’ rights and duties under it. Lavex Janitorial shall not under any circumstances be liable for
incidental or consequential damages of any kind, including but not limited to loss of profits.
