Antes de iniciar a utilização do Suporte Magnético, leia atentamente o Manual do Usuário. Após a
leitura, mantenha o Manual em local de fácil acesso para possibilitar a consulta sempre que
necessário.

3. Condição do Operador
Não é recomendado o manuseio e utilização do Suporte Magnético por pessoas
que utilizam o marcapasso. A força do campo magnético pode provocar o mau
funcionamento do marcapasso.
IMPORTANTE
• Use o Suporte Magnético em um ambiente com uma temperatura de 0 a 40℃e a umidade relativa
de 30 a 70%.
• Evite mudanças bruscas na temperatura. A condensação pode afetar negativamente na
performance do Suporte Magnético.
• Use o Suporte Magnético em superfícies com mínima exposição à poeira, óleo ou névoa de óleo.
• Não deposite o Suporte Magnético nas proximidades de disquetes ou de outras mídias de
armazenamento de dados, caso contrário, os dados armazenados poderão ser apagados em
conseqüência do campo magnético.
• Quando utilizado o Suporte Magnético em superfícies com camadas espessas de material não
magnético (Ex. tinta, plástico, borracha, etc.), certificar-se de que o Suporte esteja fixada com
segurança, pois do contrário, poderá se desprender e danificar o Suporte e até causar ferimentos ao
usuário.
• A força de atração do Suporte Magnético poderá reduzir se a superfície possuir arranhões ou
oxidações.
• Não deixe cair ou bater o Suporte Magnético, pois poderá causar ruptura ou defeito no Suporte
Magnético.
• Ao fixar o Suporte Magnético em superfície com revestimento, certifique-se que o Suporte
Magnético esteja fixada com segurança, pois do contrário, poderá se desprender e danificar o
Suporte e até causar ferimentos ao usuário.
• Para evitar a perda da força magnética, evite o uso do Suporte Magnético próximo a transformadores, desmagnetizadores ou placas magnéticas, pois estes equipamentos emanam
um forte campo magnético, podendo afetar na performance e funcionamento do Suporte Magnético. Certifique-se de que a alavanca do Suporte Magnético esteja na posição OFF
quando não estiver em uso.
• Nunca desmonte e/ou remova o magneto da Base, pois isto afetará na sua força de imantação (a força de magnetização reduzirá consideravelmente).
4. Características
O Suporte Magnético Universal é um acessório auxiliar para possibilitar o posicionamento de relógios comparadores digitais ou análogos, relógios apalpadores ou instrumentos
similares em posição de medição desejada. O Suporte Magnético Universal tem as seguintes características:
• Utiliza-se da Base Magnética para permitir a montagem na horizontal, vertical ou em outra posição qualquer. Uma ranhura em “V” existente na parte inferior da Base Magnética
possibilita também a montage sobre superfícies cilíndricas de materiais ferrosos (quanto melhor o acabamento melhor o seu desempenho).
• As articulações das hastes permitem qualquer posicionamento desejado. O mecanismo de travamento permite fixar todas as articulações através de um único manípulo.
• O mecanismo de ajuste fino oferece a possibilidade de regular facilmente o ajuste do zero do instrumento.

6. Utilização
1) O Relógio comparador deve ser fixado através do canhão, utilizando o furo de Ø9,55mm para Relógio em polegada e furo de Ø8mm para Relógio em milímetro ou através do rasgo
rabo de andorinha em se tratando de Relógio apalpador. Em qualquer dos casos, recomendamos fixar o instrumento com firmeza.
2)Posicione a Base no local desejado e coloque a alavanca ON / OFF na posição ON. Posicione o instrumento corretamente na posição desejada e aperte o Manípulo de travamento.
3) Antes de iniciar a medição, ajuste o instrumento no ponto zero movendo o dial para instrumento análogo, zerando o display para os digitais ou através do Manípulo Ajuste Fino.
IMPORTANTE
•Não aplique força excessiva nas haste do Suporte Magnético quando esta estiver travado (com a alavanca na posição ON), pois as articulações podem ceder (girar). Estes Suportes
foram projetadas para suportar com segurança o peso do instrumento de medição (relógio comparador ou apalpador) mais os esforços provocados por sua aplicação.
•Não é necessário aplicar torque excessivo no Manípulo de travamento das articulações, pois o sistema de travamento foi projetado para funcionar com torque moderado no Manípulo.

1. Safety Precautions

2. On Various Types of Notes
IMPORTANT

• An important note is a type of precaution, which if neglected could result in a loss of data,
decreased accuracy or instrument malfunction/failure.
3. Operating Environment
If you use a pacemaker, you must not use the Magnetic Stand. The magnetic
force on the Magnetic Stand may cause malfunction of your pacemaker.
IMPORTANT
• Use the Magnetic Stand in an environment with a temperature of 0 to 40℃and a relative humidity
of 30 to 70%.
• Avoid sudden changes in temperature. Condensation may negatively affect the performance of the
Magnetic Stand.
• Use the Magnetic Stand in a place with minimal exposure to dust, oil and oil mist..
• Do not bring the Magnetic Stand near the floppy disk or other data storage media. Otherwise the
data stored in these media may be deleted due to the magnetic force.
• The attractive force of Magnetic Stand Will be reduced depending on the conditions of a surface the
magnetic base attracts, including material, thickness, surface roughness, and painting applied.
• The attractive force Will also be reduced if the magnetic base attraction surface has scratches or
rust on it.
• Dropping or bumping the magnetic stand Will cause a breakage or defective in the Magnetic Stand.
• When fixing the Magnetic Stand on the thick-coated surface, make sure that the Magnetic Stand is
securely fixed on the surface to avoid breakage or personal injury by dropping of the Magnetic Stand.
• To prevent deterioration in holding power of magnet, avoid using the fixture in the proximity of
transformers or demagnetize as they generate strong magnetic Field, affecting the fixture’s
performance. Be sure to keep the magnet base lever OFF when not in use.
• Never disassemble and/or remove the magnet from the base, as this Will affect its magnetic
strength (the magnet force Will be considerably reduced).
4. Features
The Universal Magnetic Stand is a measuring jig for setting dial indicators or dial test indicators and the like in any desired measuring positions.
The Universal Magnetic Stand provides the following features:
• Employs the magnetic base permitting the fixture to be mounted either horizontally, vertically, or even upside down. Also, a V-groove on the bottom of the base permits the fixture to be
mounted even on something cylindrical.
• Universal joints permit the arm to be set in any desired posture. The locking mechanism permits all the joints to be locked only by a single clamp.
• Fine adjustment mechanism provides an easy zero adjustment of the measuring tools.

6. Usage
1) Use with a Dial Indicator. Enables the fixation of the Dial Indicator through the stem, using the Ø9,55mm hole for inch, and Ø8mm hole for millimeter; a Dial Test Indicator can be fixed
by the dovetail groove, then securely tighten it with the clamping screw.
2) Locate the magnetic base in place so that the tip (contact point) of the measuring tool comes into contact with the measuring point, then turn the lever ON to have the magnetic base
fixed by attraction.
3) Adjust the angle of the arm to locate the contact point of the measuring tool at the measured point, then carefully clamp the clamp knob so that the measuring tool is properly oriented.
4) Use the fine adjustment knob tor fine adjustment of the measuring tool orientation and zero point.
IMPORTANT
•Do not apply excessive force to the arms of the Magnetic Stand when it is locked (with the lever in the ON position), because the rods can move (rotate). These Stand were designed to
support safely the weight measuring instrument (Dial Indicator or Dial Test Indicator) with the efforts caused by its application.
•It is not necessary excessive torque on the joints locking Knob, the locking system is designed to work with moderate torque on the knob.

certification. This product conforms to the MITOTUYO inspection standard
and the standard(s) used of the calibration is/are traceable to the national
and international standard(s).
If this product present any manufacture defect or any defective part within
one (01) year from the original date of acquisition, and under normal usage
conditions, as indicated in the User’s Manual provided with the product and
in the Warning Label(s) on the product, we will repair or replace the product,
at your option, free of charges, upon its prepaid return to Mitutoyo with this
WARRANTY card.
