4) SoftwareInstallation
4.1 DownloadfromMobiShowbox
1) TurnonWiFionyourphone.
2) ConnectyourphonetoMobiShowwirelessnetwork.TheSSIDisdisplayedon
screen(defaultSSIDisMobiShow).
3) OpenthebrowseronyourphoneandentertheIPaddressoftheMobiShowbox.
♦ThedefaultIPaddressis192.168.100.10.
♦Or,refertotheIPaddresswhichshownontheprojectorscreen.
4) Thefollowingwebpagewillbeshownonyourbrowser.
5) Clickthe“Download”linktodownloadthesoftwareinstaller(inCABformat)to
yourphone.
6) OpenExploreronyourphoneandfindtheCABfile.
7) DoubleclickontheCABfiletostartinstallation.
8) Followon‐screeninstructionstofinishinstallation.
4.2 InstallfromCD
1) ConnectyourWindowsMobilephonetoPC.Makesureitisconnectedin
ActiveSync.
2) InsertMobiShowSetupCDtoPC.
3) TheAutoRunprogramwillautomaticallybringuptheSetuppage.Ifthesystem
asksyouwhattodoonCDinsertion,pleaseselect“LaunchMobiShowSetupCD”.
4) OntheSetuppage,select“InstalltoPhone”.
5) Followtheon‐screeninstructionstoinstallsoftwaretoPC.
6) Whenprompted,checkthescreenofyourphonetofinishinstallationonyour
phone.

5) UsingMobiShowwithaSmartphone
1) Open“Programs”onyourphoneandfind“MobiShow”application.
2) Select“MobiShow”icon tolaunchtheclientsoftware.
3) MobiShowwillturnonWi‐Fionyourphoneandlistavailableaccesspointsfor
youtochoose.
4) SelectaMobiShowwirelessnetwork(SSIDwithprefixMobiShow)toconnectto.
5) MobiShowclientwillconnecttothataccesspointandsearchforMobiShow
devicesautomatically.WhenaMobiShowdeviceisfound,itwillautomatically
loginandthefollowingmainmenuisshownonyourphone.

zIfyoupluginEthernetcableintoMobiShowtoconnecttoyourexisting
network,youmayalsoaccessMobiShowviaotherAccessPoints.Select
“Menu”onthelower‐rightcornerandselect“All”toshowallavailable
AccessPoints.
zIfmorethanoneMobiShowdevicesarefound,thefollowinglistwillbe
displayedforyoutoselecttheonetouse.
6) Selectwhichfeaturetouse.Toprojectthescreenofyourphone,clickonthe
“Screen”icon.TodoaPC‐lesspresentationwithPresentation‐to‐Go(PtG),select
the“PtG”icon.ToplayavideoorMP3fromyourphone,selectthe“Media”icon.

zScreenProjection:
MobiShowwillprojectanythingdisplayedonyourscreen.Youmaylaunch
anotherapplication(suchPowerPointViewer)oropenanyfile(suchasWord
documentorJPGimage)anditwillbeprojectedtotheprojector.
Note:DonotexitMobiShowapplicationwhileopeningotherapplicationtokeep
screenprojected.
Clickthe“Stop”icontostopprojection.
Clickthe“Pause”icontopauseprojection.Click“Pause”againtoresume
projection.
Clickthe“Zoom”icontozoomtheprojectedscreentoextendthelongestsideof
yourscreentofillthescreen.
Clickthe“Play”icontostartprojectionagainifitisstopped.
Clickthe“OK”buttonor“Back”toreturntomainmenu.
zWirelessPtG:
WhenyouselectPtGfunction,MobiShowclientwillautomaticallyopenExplorer
foryoutoselectaPtGfile.Selectthefiletoopenforyourpresentation.When
thefileisopen,thePtGslideswillbeprojected,andthefollowingscreenis

displayedonyourphoneforyoutocontrolyourPtGpresentation.
Click“Prev”or“Next”togotothepreviousornextitemintheslide.
Click“PgUp”or“PgDn”togotopreviousornextslide.
Click“Stop”tostopprojectingthefile.Theiconwillbecome“Play”ifthefileis
notplayed.Click“Play”againtoplaythefileifitisstopped.
Click“Home”togotothefirstslide.
Click“Jump”andMobiShowclientwillshoweveryslideonthephone.Youcan
selectanypagetogoto.
Click“Open”toselectanotherPtGfile.
Note:
Youmayfinddemovideosandpre‐convertedPtGfilesinthe“demofiles”folderin
theSetupCDforyourtestinganddemonstration.

zPhotoSlideshow:
YoucanuseMobiShowtoprojectphotosstoredonyourphonetobigscreen.The
photoswillbepreparedforplaybackonbigscreensratherthanforthetiny
screensofyourphone.
Toopenasinglephoto,selectonephotoandclicktheOKbutton.Thephotowill
bedisplayedonthedisplayconnectedtoMobiShowdevice.
Click“Prev”or“Next”toshowpreviousornextphotointhesamefolder.
Click“Play”tostartphotoslideshowwithphotosinthesamefolder.Thebutton
willbechangedto“Pause”duringslideshow.Click“Pause”tostopslideshow.
Reminder:Ifyouneedtoadjusttheperiodforslideshow,pleaseclickthe“Menu”
onthelower‐rightcornerandselecttheperiodyoupreferfromthemenu.

zMediaSender:
WhenyouselectMediaSenderfunction,MobiShowclientwillautomatically
openExplorerforyoutoselectamediafile.Selectafile(videosinmpegorwmv9
format,orMP3musicfiles)toplay.ThefilewillbestreamedtoMobiShowdevice.
Itmaytakeafewsecondstobufferbeforetheplaybackbegins,dependingonthe
wirelesssignalandmediabitrate.
Whenthefileisopen,themediawillbeprojected,andthefollowingscreenis
displayedonthephoneforyoutocontrolyourmediaplayback.
Click“FR”or“FF”toseekbackwardorforward.
Click“Vol‐“or“Vol+”toadjustvolumeforplayback.
Click“Stop”tostopplayingthefile.Theiconwillbecome“Play”ifthefileisnot
played.Click“Play”againtoplaythefileifitisstopped.
Click“Mute”tomutetheaudio.Click“Mute”againtobringaudioback.
Click“Open”toselectanothermediafile.
7) Whenyouareinthemainmenu,clickthe“OK”buttonor“Back”againtoclose
theapplication.

6) UsingMobiShowwithaPC
BesidesSmartphones,youmayalsouseMobiShowwithonePC.TouseMobiShow
withyourPC,followthestepstoinstallMobiShowclienttoyourPCanduse
MobiShow.
1) InserttheMobiShowSetupCDtoyourPC.
2) TheAutoRunprogramwillautomaticallybringuptheSetuppage.Ifthesystem
asksyouwhattodoonCDinsertion,pleaseselect“LaunchMobiShowSetupCD”.
3) OntheSetuppage,select“InstallPCUtilities”.
4) Followtheon‐screeninstructionstoinstallsoftwaretoPC.
5) Afterinstallation,thefollowingshortcutswillbeplacedontheDesktop.

6) MakesureyourpersonalfirewallallowsMobiShowsoftwaretopassthrough.
7) Wheninstallationiscompleted,thisprogramwilllaunchautomaticallyandsearch
forMobiShowboxes.WhenaMobiShowboxisfound,thesoftwarewill
automaticallyloginifnootherPCisusingit.

Open“MobiShowPtGConverter”in“MobiShow\MobiShowPtGConverter”folder
from“Programs”intheStartmenu.Thefollowingcontrolpanelisdisplayedonyour
Desktopwhenitislaunched.
Clickthe“Convert”buttontoselectaPowerPointPPTfileandstartconversion.
PtGConverterwillopenthePowerPointfileandconvertittoPtGformat.Youcansee
theconversionprocessonyourDesktop.
Clickthe“Preview”buttontoexpandorcollapsethepreviewpane.Click“
Play”toplaybackselectedPtGfile,orclick“Open”toselectaPtGfile.

reasonitdoesnotrebootafter15minutesandtheLEDisnotred,pleasemanually
turnoffthedeviceandturnonagain.
