1. SAFETY.
Automatic ethanol fireplace Neverdark Chalet is a decorative device. It makes a real
open fire, but it is not a device for heating.
Explotation of the ethanol fireplace Neverdark Chalet requires strict adherence to the
following safety rules.
× Биокамин Ethanol fireplace should be installed according to the installation
instructions which is provided by the manufacture.
× Во While the fireplace is running, it generates warmth, water vapor and СО2,
that is why room volume and ventilation must meet the standards, which are
specified in installation instruction.
× Exploitation of the ethanol fireplace requires strict adherence to fire safety
regulations. So that you should keep close powder fire extinguisher or СО2 fire
extinguisher by the fireplace.
× To move ethanol fireplace, you should first turn it off and wait till it cools down.
Then, please, pump out fuel and unplug from the power supply, only after that
you can move it.
It is important! While moving ethanol fireplace, please, keep it horizontal,
because there is always a small amount of fuel left which can get on the
sensors. If that’s what happened, you should wait for the fluid to dry out.
× It is not allowed to switch on or leave switched on fireplace without the
presence of an adult.
× It is not recommended to permit use the fireplace people who don't know
operating and safety regulations.
× The fireplace must be repaired by official or certified service center Neverdark.
Ethanol fireplace may not be repaired or disassembled by yourself.
× When using a fireplace, you should use only certified fuel for ethanol fireplaces
(bio ethanol).
× Bio ethanol is flammable and requires compliance with usage and storage rules.
× Bio ethanol is unsuitable for use. Do not allow fuel to come into contact with
skin and eyes. Keep fuel out of the reach of children.
× It is not allowed to switch on the fireplace if the fuel overflowed over the edge of
the tank or filler hole.
× Do not allow fuel to get on the surface of the fireplace. If that happened before
the fireplace went on, first of all you have to remove spilled fuel with a dry cloth
and only after that switch the fireplace on. If that happened after the fireplace
was turned on, you must immediately turn off the fireplace by pressing the
power button.

Warning! It’s not allowed to pour the fuel while the ethanol fireplace is running.
It could suddenly catch fire and then damage to the fireplace, fire in the room
and burns to the user and fatal danger.

× During the operation of the ethanol fireplace some of its elements, as well as
any surfaces that are closer than 1 meter from the fireplace can be very hot. Do
not touch the surfaces that heat up to avoid burns.
Warning! The ignitor reaches an extreme temperature at 1000° C.
Warning! The device may only be switched on for the first time after it has been
positioned correctly and the operating instructions have been read.

3. INSTALLATION
a) Install the bioethanol fireplace according to the installation requirements and fire
safety regulations
b) Place the stones on the burner surface so that they cover the entire surface with a
thin even layer.
Important: Do not let the stones get into the ignition chamber, as this may cause the
ignition to work incorrectly.

c) Arrange the firewood on top of the laid-out stones so that the contact area with the
stones' surface is minimal.
If a thermal box and glass are included, install the glass into the thermal box. First
insert it into the right groove and then into the left groove.

4. SETTINGS.
4.1. Connection
a) Connect the fireplace to 220V power supply.
b) Click on the top of the built-in control panel and let go of it to open. Then open it as
far as it will go.
(In case the fireplace is equipped with an external ARS-500 module, skip this step).
c) Press the power button on the control panel (or on the external ARS-500 module).
If the power to the fireplace is supplied correctly, the display screen should light up.

d) Select a language by clicking the appropriate icon on the display:
The inscription will appear on the display:
e) Point the camera of your smartphone at the QR code at the display screen to get
the link for downloading the mobile application Neverdark, by means of which you
will be able to control the fireplace.
Or click to use without the application if you want to control the fireplace only
from the touch screen (in this case some functions as well as remote diagnostics
will not be available).

f) You can also download the mobile application directly from AppStore or
PlayMarket.
g) After downloading the application, you need to go to the Wi-Fi settings of your
smartphone and connect to the Wi-Fi network of the fireplace, using the name and
password of the network, which are specified on the fireplace display screen:

4.2. Mobile App Setup
a) Run Neverdark mobile application on your smartphone
b) After the screensaver, the connection
screen will appear:
c) Clicking on the button will bring you to the
screen of the beginning of configuration:
If there is a Wi-Fi network in the room where the fireplace is installed, click on the Wi-Fi
network, if not - choose directly.
d) If you have chosen via Wi-Fi network, you will get to the screen of the fireplace
connection to your Wi-Fi network. (In this case, if you have chosen directly - go to the
point е)
e) Select your wireless network, enter the password to it and press connect.

f) For a while the connection process screen will appear and immediately after that
the message about successful connection will appear.
g) The next screen will be the room
selection screen where the
fireplace is installed. You can
choose from offered or add your
own name (This helps to navigate
when connecting several fireplaces
h) After that you can
choose whether to
protect the fireplace
with a pin code or not.

i) If you choose yes, you need to create and confirm your own pin code.
j) This completes the setting.

5. USE.
5.1. Fueling
a) At the first start or at the end of fuel in the tank during the use of the fireplace, the
display of the fireplace and the mobile application will show a message that the
tank is empty.

b) Install a fuel canister next to the fireplace (or ARS-500 module).
c) Connect the fuel hose supplied with the fireplace to the corresponding connector
on the control panel (in the ARS-500 module this hose is permanently connected).

d) Unscrew the canister cover and lower the end of the fuel hose into the canister so
that the end of the hose rests at the bottom of the canister.
e) After that, go to refueling mode by pressing FUEL on the touch display of the
fireplace.

f) You can also refill the fireplace on your own if the tank has less than 100% fuel.
To proceed to refueling, click the fuel can icon on the start screen of the touch
screen.
g) The display will show the refueling screen.
h) To start refueling, press START. Pump will start and filling will start.
Warning! Do not disconnect the fuel hose during refueling!

i) During refueling, watch the fuel level indication on the display. When the tank fills
up, the FULL TANK will appear on the display and the pump will automatically turn
off.
j) If you need to stop the fuel filling before the tank is full, you can do so at any time
by pressing STOP.
Tip! Before stopping the refueling, take the fuel hose out of the tank and lift it up with
the opening. Then wait a few seconds for the pump to pump out the fuel that is in the
fuel hose. Only then can the hose be disconnected from the connector (install the hose
in the ARS-500 External Module).
Warning! If there is any fuel left in the fuel hose that leaked out on or near the surface
of the fireplace when you disconnect the hose, be sure to wipe the spilled fuel with a
soft cloth immediately.
k) Close the fuel canister after refueling and press CANCEL to exit the refueling mode.
l) Now the fireplace is ready for use.
