thoroughly before attempting to operate this unit. These instructions
contain important safety information regarding the use and maintenance
of this unit. Take special care to follow all warning symbols and
labels both on the unit and printed in this manual. Also, please keep
this manual with the unit, for future reference.

Set-Up Precautions
Please be sure to make any connections before plugging the media player in to an
electrical outlet. All fader and volume controls should be set to zero or minimum
position, before the SD player is switched on. If the media player has been exposed
to drastic temperature fluctuation (e.g. after transportation), do not switch on the
media player immediately. The arising condensation of water might damage your
device. Leave the device switched off until it has reached room temperature.
Operating Determinations:
·When installing this media player, please make sure that the device is not
exposed or will not be exposed to extreme heat, moisture or dust!
·Do not operate the media player in extremely hot (more than 40°C /104°F ) or
extremely cold (less than 5°C/40°F) surroundings.
·Keep the unit out of direct sunlight and away from heaters.

A. CONTROL FM FRONT OPERATION (figure 1)
1. POWER SWITCH – Main power ON/OFF switch.
2. AUX INPUT JACK – Stereo Aux input is for the connection of a Mp3player or
other line source.
3. USB/SD Selection – Press this button to toggle between the USB port or SD
card slot.
4. SD CARD SLOT – Slot for SD card.
5. USB Port – USB port where you can insert a USB thumb drive or USB card
reader.
6. MIX VOLUME CONTROL – This knob adjusts the audio level between your
MP3 player and Radio when using the “mixed” output.
7. UP BUTTON – Pressing this button you move up 1 memory bank. Keep this
button pressed to search next FM frequencies.
8. SCAN BUTTON – Pressing this button the CONTROL FM will scan for active
FM frequencies and if found one it will be placed under a memory bank. The
SCAN then continues until all frequencies are scanned or the memory banks 1
to 6 are full.
9. MEMORY BANKS – These buttons represent memory bank 1 to 6. When
pressed you’ll go to the desired memory bank.
10. REPEAT BUTTON – Press this button to repeat 1 track, repeat all tracks or
shuffle tracks in random order.
11. STOP/PLAY/PREVIOUS TRACK/NEXT TRACK
·STOP – Press this button to stop the current track.
·PLAY – Press this button to start the track.
·PREVIOUS TRACK – Press this button to go back to the previous
track.
·NEXT TRACK – Press this button to go to the next track.
12. EQ CONTROL BUTTON – Press this button to change EQ filters.
13. DOWN BUTTON – Pressing this button you move back 1 memory bank. Keep
this button pressed to search previous FM frequencies.
14. MUTE BUTTON – Press this button to mute the FM Player.

B. CONTROL FM REAR OPERATION (figure 2)
15. RS-232 CONNECTOR – To connect the CONTROL FM to a PC or automated
control system. (OPTIONAL)
16. COAXIAL 75Ohm FM ANTENNA – Here you connect a coaxial 75Ohm FM
antenna.
17. SYMMETRICAL 300Ohm FM ANTENNA – Here you connect a symmetric
300Ohm FM antenna.
18. TUNER STEREO RCA OUTPUT – Use this stereo RCA Unbalanced output to
send the tuner audio to a mixer or receiver.
19. MIXED STEREO RCA OUTPUT – Use this stereo RCA Unbalanced output to
send the tuner/player mixed audio (controlled by the mix knob on the front
panel) to a mixer or amplifier.
20. PLAYER STEREO RCA OUTPUT – Use this stereo RCA Unbalanced output
to send the player audio to a mixer or receiver.
21. AC CONNECTION – This connector is used to supply main power to the unit
via the included detachable power cord. The power connection uses an I.E.C.
type connector, use only the supplied, polarized AC power cord. Use only a
power cord that matches this type of connection. Be sure to only connect this
unit to a power outlet that matches the printed power label on the unit. Never
use a power cord when the ground prong has been removed or broken off.
The ground prong is used to properly reduce the risk of electrical shock in
case of an electrical short. This cord is designed to fit in one direction only. Do
not attempt to force a cord if it does not fit, be sure the cord is being inserted
properly.
