Safety Instructions

Keep children and bystanders away while
using the mower. Distractions can cause
you to lose control.
While using the mower, always wear
substantial footwear and long trousers.
Do not operate the mower when
barefoot or wearing open sandals. Avoid
wearing clothing that is loose fitting or
that has hanging cords or ties.
This product contains a functional sharp
edge which may cause injury if misused.
Take care when handling. Always wear
thick gloves when handling blades or
working near blades.
Make sure the blade is securely fixed to
the mower before use.
Never allow children or people
unfamiliar with these instructions to use
the mower.
This product is not a toy, and is only to
be used for its designated purpose.
Do not carry out alterations or
modifications to this product.
Make sure suitable personal protective
equipment (PPE) are worn.
Operate the mower at a suitable pace.
Never run when operating.
Do not walk backwards when mowing,
you could trip.
Never cut grass by pulling the mower
towards you.
Never operate the mower when you are
tired, ill or under the influence of drugs,
alcohol or medicine.
The operator or user of this mower is
responsible for any accidents or hazards
occurring to other people or their
property during its use.
Use the mower only in daylight or good
artificial light.
Make sure the lawn is clear of sticks,
stones, wire and debris that could be
thrown up by the blades.
Avoid operating the mower on wet grass,
where feasible.
Take care on wet grass, you may lose
your footing.
On slopes, be extra careful of your
footing and wear non-slip footwear.
Mow across the face of slopes, never up
and down.
Exercise extreme caution when changing
direction on slopes.
Never operate the mower with damaged
guards or without guards in place.
Keep hands and feet away from the
blade at all times and especially when
the mower is in use.
Do not put hands near the blades during
operation.
