2. Keepall
moving
parts
freefrom
build-upofsaltand
other
foreign
material.Thiswillaffect
theiroperationand
create
steering
problems.
Pay
particular
attention
to
the
hingetubeofoutboardmotors.Periodically
remove
the
cabfe,ciean-hingslube-thoroqgryand-tubricalewitha
waterproof
grease.
3. lnspect
periodically
forcorrosion.Any
parts
affected
by corrosion
must be replaced. When replacrng
hardware,
self-locking
hardwaremust
beused.
4. Inspect
steering
cable
periodically
for
cracksorother
damage.lf
any
is
found
thecable
must
bereplaced.
