9. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug
has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a

12. Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specified by the
manufacturer, or sold with the apparatus. When a cart is used, use caution
when moving the cart/apparatus combination to avoid injury from tip-over.
13. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
14. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus
has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has
been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to
rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
15. Grounding or Polarization – This product may be equipped with a polarized
alternating-current line plug (a plug having one blade wider than the other). This plug will fit
into the power outlet only one way. This is a safety feature. If you are unable to insert the plug
fully into the outlet, try reversing the plug. If the plug should still fail to fit, contact your
electrician to replace your obsolete outlet. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized
plug.
16. Alternate Warnings – This product is equipped with a three-wire ground-type plug, a plug
having a third (grounding) pin. This plug will only into a grounding-type power outlet. This is a
safety feature. If you are unable to insert the plug into the outlet, contact your electrician to
replace your obsolete outlet. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the grounding-type plug.
17. Ventilation – Slots and openings in the cabinet are provided for ventilation and to ensure
reliable operation of the product and to protect it from overheating, and these openings must
not be blocked or covered. The openings should never be blocked by placing the product on a
bed, sofa, rug, or other similar surface. This product should not be placed in a built-in
installation such as a bookcase or rack unless proper ventilation is provided or the
manufacturer’s instructions have been adhered to.
18. The MAINS plug or an appliance coupler is used as the disconnect device, the disconnect
device shall remain readily operable.

the power input, the mains plug or apparatus shall be disconnected from the mains.
24. Battery shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.
25. Excessive sound pressure from earphones and headphone can cause hearing loss.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Precautions
yAlways turn off the unit after use.
yKeep the unit away from magnetic objects, water or heat sources.
yUse a clean soft cloth moistened with lukewarm water to clean the cabinet. Never use
chemical cleaners that could damage the finish of the unit.
yNever touch the CD pickup and lens. If fingerprints get on the pickup lens, clean it gently with
a commercial lens cleaner.
yDisconnect the unit from any power sources before cleaning.
yTo remove a disc from its storage case, press down on the centre of the case and lift the disc
out, holding it carefully by the edges.
yFingerprints and dust should be carefully wiped off the disc’s recorded surface with a soft
cloth. Unlike conventional records, compact discs have no grooves to collect dust and
microscopic debris so gently wiping with a soft cloth should remove most particles. Wipe in a
straight line from the inside to the outside of the disc. Small dust particles and light stains will
have absolutely no effect on reproduction quality.
yNever use chemicals such as record sprays, anti-static sprays, benzene or thinners to clean
compact discs. These chemicals can irreparably damage the disc’s surface.
yDiscs should be returned to their cases after use. This avoids serious scratches that could
cause the Laser pickup to skip.
yDo not expose discs to direct sunlight, high humidity, or high temperatures for extended
periods. Long exposure to high temperatures can warp the disc.
yDo not stick paper or write anything with a ballpoint pen on the label side of the disc.

aspersions d'eau, ou quand l'appareil ne fonctionne pas correctement en dépit du respect
des instructions de manipulation.
15. Mise à la terre ou polarisation - Ce produit peut être équipé d'une prise de courant alternatif
polarisée (une fiche ayant une lame plus large que l'autre). Cette fiche ne s'insère dans la
prise de courant que dans un sens. Il s'agit d'un dispositif de sécurité. Si vous n'arrivez pas à
insérer complètement la fiche dans la prise, inversez la fiche. Si la fiche ne s'adapte toujours
pas, contactez votre électricien pour remplacer la prise obsolète. Ne pas éliminer la sécurité
de la fiche polarisée.
16. Autres avertissements - Ce produit est équipé d'une fiche à trois broches appelée « mise à la
terre ». Cette fiche peut seulement s'insérer dans une prise de courant mise à la terre. Il s'agit
d'un dispositif de sécurité. Si vous ne parvenez pas à insérer la fiche dans la prise, contactez
votre électricien pour remplacer la prise obsolète. Ne détruisez pas la sécurité de la prise de
terre.
17. Ventilation - Les fentes et ouvertures du boitier sont prévues pour la ventilation et pour
assurer un fonctionnement fiable du produit et le protéger de la surchauffe, ces ouvertures ne
doivent pas être bloquées ou couvertes. Les ouvertures ne doivent jamais être obstruées en
plaçant l'appareil sur un lit, canapé, un tapis ou toute autre surface similaire. Ce produit ne
doit pas être placé dans une installation encastrée comme une bibliothèque ou une étagère à
moins qu'une ventilation adéquate ne soit prévue ou que les instructions du fabricant aient

18. La prise SECTEUR ou un coupleur d'appareil est utilisé comme dispositif de déconnexion, ce

ENTRETIEN ET MAINTENANCE
yToujours éteindre l'appareil après utilisation.
yGardez l'appareil loin des objets magnétiques, des sources d'eau ou de chaleur.
yUtilisez un chiffon doux et propre imbibé d'eau tiède pour nettoyer le boitier. Ne jamais utiliser
de nettoyants chimiques qui pourraient endommager le fini de l’appareil.
yNe touchez jamais la tête de lecture de CD et la lentille. S’il y a des empreintes de doigts sur la
lentille de lecture, nettoyez-la doucement avec un liquide de nettoyage pour tête de lecture.
yDébranchez l'appareil de toute source d’électricité avant de le nettoyer.
yPour retirer un disque de son boîtier, appuyez sur le centre de la base et soulevez le disque en
le tenant délicatement par les bords.
Les empreintes digitales et la poussière doivent être soigneusement nettoyées de la surface
enregistrée du disque avec un chiffon doux. Contrairement aux disques conventionnels, les
disques compacts n'ont pas de rainures qui pourraient recueillir de la poussière ou des débris
microscopiques. Ainsi, essuyer doucement avec un chiffon doux suffit à enlever la plupart des
particules. Essuyez en ligne droite depuis l'intérieur vers l'extérieur du disque. Les petites
particules de poussière ou les légères taches n’ont absolument aucun effet sur la qualité de la
reproduction.
yNe jamais utiliser de produits chimiques tels que des sprays, des antistatiques, du benzène ou
des diluants pour nettoyer les disques compacts. Ces produits chimiques peuvent
endommager irrémédiablement la surface du disque.
yLes disques doivent être remis dans leur boîtier après utilisation. Cela évite des rayures
profondes qui pourraient causer des difficultés de lecture au capteur.
yNe pas exposer les disques directement au soleil, à une forte humidité ou à des
températures élevées pendant des périodes prolongées. Une exposition prolongée à des
températures élevées peut déformer le disque.
yNe collez pas de papier et n’écrivez pas avec un stylo à bille sur le côté étiquette du disque.

AC OPERATION
Connect the plug to the AC socket of the unit and the other end to a standard AC outlet.
ATTENTION
1. Do not plug or unplug the power cable while you have wet hands.
2. When planning not to use this unit for a long time, disconnect the power cable from the wall
outlet.
3. When disconnecting the power cord from the wall outlet, do not pull on the cord in order to
avoid shock risks caused by damaged cable.
BATTERY OPERATION
Disconnect the AC Cord Set completely. Open the Battery Compartment Door and insert 6 pieces
UM-2 "C" size batteries into the battery compartment with battery polarity as shown inside the
battery compartment.
RADIO OPERATION
1. Press SOURCE button to select AM or FM radio mode.
2. Press the SKIP button or SKIP button step by step to tune to the desired radio stations.
3. Press and hold the SKIP button or SKIP button to search the next radio station in the
direction of the search. The search operation simply finds stations with strong signals,
Stations with weak signal can only tuned in step by step
4. If FM stereo broadcast received, (ST) will display on the LCD display.
5. Use the VOLUME+or VOLUME−button to adjust the volume to the desired listening level.
TO STORE THE RADIO STATIONS IN THE MEMORY
1. Press the SKIP button or SKIP button to search the desire radio station.
2. Press the MODEPROG//MEM button, the display with show “PXX” and flashing and press the
SKIP button or SKIP button to select the desired memory radio station number.
3. The radio station will store in the memory after 5 seconds.
4. Up to 20 radio stations can stored in the memory.
TO SELECT A STORED RADIO STATION IN THE MEMORY
Press the STOP/M+button to skip to the next stored radio station.
CD OPERATION
1. Press the SOURCE button to select CD mode.
2. Insert an audio CD disc in the CD compartment and close the CD door, the unit will start
reading the disc, it will show the total number of tracks of the entire disc after reading and
start playing the first track of the entire disc.
3. During playing, press the PLAY/PAUSE button to temporarily pause playing. To resume,
press the PLAY/PAUSE button again.
4. To stop playing the disc, simply press the STOP/M+ button

Skip Mode
1. In PLAY or PAUSE mode, press the SKIP button to go to the next track.
2. In PAUSE mode, press the SKIP button to go back to the previous track.
3. In PLAY mode, press the SKIP button to go back to the beginning of the track.
4. In PLAY mode, press the SKIP button twice to go back to the previous track.
Different Play Mode
In CD mode, press the MODE/PROG/MEM button to select different kinds of play mode with the
following sequence.
Repeat 1 ¨Repeat ALL ¨Normal
yRepeat – repeat the track being played.
yRepeat ALL – repeat all the tracks in the entire disc.
yNormal – play the tracks in sequence.
Programming
The programming can only be done in STOP mode
1. Press the MODE/PROG/MEM button, the LCD display will show P01 and flash.
2. Use the SKIPor SKIPbutton to select the desired track.
3. Press the MODE/PROG/MEM button again to store the selected track in the memory, the LCD
display will show P02.
4. Repeat steps 2 to 3 to store more tracks in the memory. You can store up to 20 tracks in the
memory.
5. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to start playing the disc in the programmed order.
6. To stop playing, press the STOP button.
7. To cancel the programming list, press the STOP button again.
AUX IN JACK
MP3/AUX IN CONNECTION
1. Insert one side of the audio cable (requires 3.5mm stereo plug, not supplied) into the line-out
jack or phones jack on your MP3 player and the other side to the aux-in jack on the unit.
2. Press the source to select AUX mode
3. Turn on your MP3 player and follow the playback instruction.
4. To stop this function, simply turned off your MP3 player.

BLUETOOTH OPERATION
Connecting BLUETOOTH
1. Press the SOUCRE button to select BLUETOOTH mode, ‘ bt ‘ will show in the LCD display.
2. Turn on the Bluetooth of your device and search the unit for connection. Your Bluetooth
device should find “CD-725BT”.If password is needed for connection, please enter “0000”.
3. If connection is successful, your Bluetooth device may show Bluetooth is connected.
4. Select and play the audio file though your Bluetooth device.
Turn Off the Bluetooth Operation
To turn off the BLUETOOTH operation, press SOURCE button to select other mode.
