Tipsandinformationforcomfortableuse
Computerusersmaycomplainofeyestrainandheadachesafterprolongeduse.Usersare
alsoatriskofphysicalinjuryafterlonghoursofworkingin front ofacomputer.Longwork
periods,badposture,poorworkhabits,stress,inadequateworkingconditions,personal
healthandotherfactorsgreatlyincreasetheriskofphysicalinjury.
Incorrectcomputerusagemayleadtocarpaltunnelsyndrome,tendonitis,tenosynovitisor
othermusculoskeletaldisorders.Thefollowingsymptomsmayappearinthehands,wrists,
arms,shoulders,neckorback:
•numbness,oraburningortinglingsensation
•aching,sorenessortenderness
•pain,swellingorthrobbing
•stiffnessortightness
•coldness orweakness

•avoidslouchingforwardand/orleaningbackward
•standupandwalkaroundregularlytoremovethestrainonyourlegmuscles
