
2 Turn lhe room thermoslal lo the lowest setting. Make sure all
satety lockouts haye been reset. Make sure lhe control and
blower doors are in place.
3. Make sure there is luel in the tank and the tuel supply valve is
lurned on. Make sure the electric supply is turned on.
4. Set lhe room thermostal to lhe desired lemperature.
5. lf the burner does not lig repest steps 2 through 4. ll the
burner does not lighl atte tries shut down the furnace and
call a qualitied service person.
To shut down the turnace:
1. sel lhe room thermostal to its lowesl setting.
2 Shul olf the manual fuel valve and the electrical supply.

1. Checkthe airfilters. Dirtyairfiltersshould be washed if they
are a washable type and teplaced il lhey are a disposable
type. Always replace f illers wi.th the same siz€ and lype. Also
check the a ir I ilter frequenily du ring the heating season and
clean or replace as necessary.

7. Check to see lhat lhe fluiter on lhe barometric control
swings lreely.
B. lnspect the flue pipe for rust-through or scale and replace il
needed.
9. Inspect lhe chimney for obslructions or delects ano reDair
as needed.
