• Use a dedicated three hole power socket (10A or more).
• Use of extension cord is not recommended. Do not have other appliances connected to the same
socket through extension cord.
• Pull out the plug in case of power failure or for cleaning the unit.
• The refrigerator uses 115/60Hz AC power. Voltage over the range of 115 ± 10% V will
cause malfunction or even damage and would require installation of a 750W automatic voltage
regulator.

MAINTENANCE OF REFRIGERATOR
CLEANING
WARNING: Unplug the refrigerator before cleaning and defrost.
• The refrigerator should be cleaned regularly (recommended about once a month) to prevent
odor build-up.
• To clean your refrigerator, turn the temperature control to “OFF”, unplug the unit and take out all
removable parts.
• Remove dust behind the refrigerator and on the ground to improve the cooling effect and energy savings.
• Use soft towels or sponge with water and non-corrosive neutral detergents
• Clean the chiller compartment with clean water and dry cloth
• Keep the door open for air drying before turning the unit back on
• Do not use hard or wire brushes, abrasives, organic solvents
(alcohol, acetone, etc), boiling water, acid or alkaline items to clean the refrigerator. This may dam-
age the surface and interior.
• Do not rinse with water. This will damage the electrical
insulation properties.
• Use a dry cloth when cleaning light bulb, temperature control knob and electrical components.
DEFROST
WARNING: Do not use metal objects or electric heater (blow dryer) to defrost.
This will damage the appliance. Remove all foods before defrosting
• Defrost the chiller compartment whenever the layer of frost on the surface of the evaporator
reaches ¼ inch.
• When defrosting, remove all food and set the thermostat to “OFF”.
• Put a drip tray under the evaporator to collect melted water
• Dry up refrigerator and restart by turning the temperature knob to the desired setting.
Your refrigerator has one control for regulating the
temperature. The temperature control is located on the
upper right hand corner of the interior compartment.
The first time you turn the unit on, adjust the
temperature control knob to “4” and run for at least 2
hours before putting foods inside. This will ensure the
cabinet is thoroughly chilled before food is put in.
The range of the refrigerator temperature control is
from position "1" ( cold) to "6" (coldest). Adjust the temperature control to the setting that best
suits your needs. The setting of “4” should be appropriate for home or office refrigerator use.
Turning the temperature control knob to “OFF” position stops the cooling cycle but does not shut
off the power to the unit.
