Account Set-up
1. Install the Alerta Find
app from the App Store
for iOS phones, or from
the Google Play Store for
Android phones.
2. Login to the Alerta Find
app with the email
address and password
that you received via
email notification
confirming your account
set-up prior to receiving
the device.
3. If you would like to
include your VIN and
vehicle type information
in your account profile,
please call our customer
support desk at 1-833-
443-5799.
4. Proceed to the device
“Activation” step.
Turning-on the Device
For best results, the Find should
be mounted in a secure non-
exposed location leaving at least
one inch of space from any solid
metal. Examples are under the
seat, inside the fairing, or inside
a side panel or zipped in a head
reset.
1. Remove the red tamper tape.
2. Slide power switch UP to
turn on the Find.
3. Verify connectivity with the
LED’s.
•Slow flashing GREEN:
acquiring GPS signal.
•Slow flashing RED:
acquiring cellular signal.
•Solid RED then off:
normal boot complete.
•If a connection could not
be completed the RED
LED will continue to flash
rapidly, in this case move
to a new location with a
clear view of the sky and
good cell signal. Turn the
find off and back on and
step through the
procedure again.
4. Apply the water-tight locking
cap.

To Set-up Trip Alert Notrifications
1. Login to the Alerta Find mobile phone app.
2. From the main screen, select “Settings.”
3. Select “Trip Alerts.”
4. Slide the “Activate Alerta” toggle to “ON.” Enter your email address or mobile
phone number.
