NOTE
With its aestheti design, solid fuel furna e type 23 fits perfe tly in any kit hen ambient and in the rest of the
household. It ould be used for heating both apartments and houses.
These furna es – stoves have a built- in oil ( opper pipe) onne ted to the thermoregulation valve (Fig. 9, pos.
13), that works as a safety thermostat and keeps from overheating the furna e – stove.
Installation of the thermoregulation valve into losed entral heating system is MANDATORY.
In ase of an open entral heating system, installation of the thermoregulation valve is not mandatory.
In order for a furna e to work properly, follow this instru tions manual arefully.

Thermoregulation valve is not in luded.

Unpa k the furna e and he k for all the parts and equipment, espe ially pay attention to the following:
- Asbestos-free ord for sealing the hob (Fig. 2, pos. 12) should be spa ed equally around the ir umferen e
of the furna e and it should fit perfe tly in its hannel;
- Furna e hob (Fig. 1, pos. 2) should be pla ed over the asbestos-free ord in order to ensure proper sealing;
- Filing door and kindling door (Fig. 1, pos. 3 and pos. 9) should be equipped with asbestos-free ord that
ensures omplete sealing when the door is losed;
- Fixed (verti al) grate (Fig. 8, pos. 1) should be in its bearing and it should be easy to open;
- Using ontrol swit h on airflow regulator (Fig. 1, pos. 4) should enable easy opening/ losing of fly nut on
ombustion air intake opening;
- If it is orre tly installed, airflow regulator enables adjusting and automati maintaining of set water
temperature inside furna e;
- Remote ontrol thermostat used for measuring the temperature in the boiler (Fig. 1, pos. 6) is properly
installed only if the airflow regulator temperature probe is lo ated in spe ial opening in the front;
- Grate (Fig. 1, pos. 2) should be pla ed inside the fire box and it should be onne ted to grate shaker handle
(Fig. 1, pos. 8) via shaker’s entral og whi h fits into oni al opening on the bottom side of the grate;
- Chimney pot is fa tory mounted on the ba k side, but it ould be installed laterally, on the left or on the
right, depending on the position of the furna e ompared to the himney, as well as regard to the
available spa e;
- During lateral installation, lateral opening lid should be taken off prior to mounting the himney pot and
than the lateral opening lid should be used to lose the ba k opening;
- When mounting, make sure that asbestos-free ord seals ompletely;
- Sheet metal for smoke emission dire tion (Fig. 2, pos. 11) should be pla ed in a ordan e to the himney
pot. If the himney pot is in the ba k, than the sheet metal is mounted symmetri ally to the furna e (in the
middle), and if it is mounted laterally, than the sheet metal is pla ed stri tly to the lateral side next to the
himney pot.

MOUNTING TO THE CHIMNEY
Furna e Central 23 rea hes its nominal thermal apa ity if the value of the himney draught is 20 Pa (2 mm
VC). We re ommend following dimensions of the himney in order to rea h these values of himney draught:

Spe ial notes:
- Chimney onne tor should be pla ed in an as ending manner;
- Chimney pot, himney du t and himney itself should not have tapered parts, otherwise narrowing ould
result with lower nominal thermal apa ity;
- Chimney and all the joints should seal perfe tly, without soot and grime in du ts.
Re ommended himney features and other properties are ne essary for seamless operation of the furna e.
During installation, be sure to use te hni al data given in the table on erning diameter of the himney pot
and of the himney pot axis height.
This furna e is designed for installation in the kit hen area, as well as in any other available household spa e.
At the same time, make sure, that the surfa e bellow the furna e is inflammable, and in the ase of wooden
flooring, put the tin plate underneath the furna e that will prevent damages on the floor, as well as the fire.
FURNACE INSTALLATION INTO THE WARM WATER HEATING SYSTEM
Furna e model Central 23 is primarily intended for warm water heating systems for only one storey, but in
ex eptional ases it ould be installed as sour e of entral heating for multiple floors in a ordan e with
regulations SRPS.M.E7:201 (JUS M.E7:201) and SRPS.M.E7:202 (JUS M.E7:202).
For the above-spe ified reasons, in further text of this Instru tion, we will display onne ting measures and
s hemes for furna e installation into entral warm water heating system for one storey.
IMPORTANT!
Qualified expert should install the furna e a ording to the proje t plan:
- During installation, make sure to follow our re ommended s heme and regulations SRPS.M.E7:201
and SRPS.M.E7:202 .

OPERATION AND REGULAR MAINTENANCE
Fill the furna e and heating installation with water and release air from it. Before ommen ing operation,
he k if the furna e and installation are fun tioning properly and if all the lat hes, vents, measure and
regulation instruments are orre tly set.
Put the ir ulating pump into operation when using the ir ulating pump heating system. If the himney is
new, the furna e should not onstantly be under full load until the himney is ompletely dry.
IMPORTANT!
Before and during operation follow the instru tions provided by the furna e manufa turer:
- After he king the proper fun tioning of the furna e and installation, fully open the door for kindling
and ash pan (Fig. 8, pos. 4), open the fixed grate (Fig. 8, pos. 1), disperse paper and wood kindling over
the grate (Fig. 8, pos. 2), ignite it and wait for the fuel to at h fire.
- Add a small amount of oal and wood and allow flaring. Close the kindling door (Fig. 1, pos. 9), and set
the airflow regulator (thermostat) to flow position 7.
- Fill the furna e with fuel up to one third of the firebox area’s height and allow it to stir up again until
the upper layer of oke, oal or wood at hes fire. Set the desired temperature on the thermostat.
- Fill the furna e with fuel up to the lower ledge of the filling door (Fig. 1, pos. 3). If the fuel emits
several gases, the use of the bottom of the fuel layer is re ommended as well as frequent refilling.
When the fuel emits larger amounts of swelling gases, slightly open the filling door, the ash pan door
and the hob lid to enable releasing of the a umulated gases and to prevent flaming.
- Additionally fill (refill) the furna e on e the fuel has burnt out up to one fourth or one third of the
firebox area’s height. Before refilling, use the fire hook for stoking (Fig. 10) through the fixed grate or
the furna e grate (Fig. 8, pos. 2), and then shake through the grate shaker handle (Fig. 1, pos. 8) by
moving the handle forward and ba k. Refill with fuel after shaking.
- In order to regulate onstant ombustion when using oke as fuel, set the thermostat to positions 6 to
9 and allow fully loaded furna e to burn for half an hour, and then set the thermostat to positions 4–5.
Heating instru tions are only guidelines and ould vary depending on the installation type, himney's draught
strength, and type of fuel and outside air temperature.
IMPORTANT:
Regularly he k the level of furna e sealing (boiler kit and asbestos-free materials). Spe ial attention should
be paid to the water amount in the installation, sin e the improper amount would disrupt the heating system.
In ase of su h disruptions, the installation should always be filled, but only when the boiler ools down.

CONTROLS
Set the ontrols to the re ommended operating modes in order to a hieve nominal thermal apa ity and
furna e effi ien y level. Desired water temperature is set via regulator – thermostat (Fig. 1, pos. 4). Control
swit h on airflow regulator (thermostat) has following positions:
The air lid (shutter) atta hed to the airflow regulator (thermostat) regulates the ombustion air feed entirely,
if all the other openings are losed.
The air lid (shutter) operates automati ally and depends on the sele ted temperature as well as the boiler
temperature, whi h is signalled by sensitive temperature probe.
Approximate values for setting the airflow regulator (thermostat) depending on the outside air temperature:

IMPORTANT:
Water temperature in the furna e when using wood, brown oal and briquettes for heating should not fall
below 70°C, in order to prevent ondensation and orrosion of the furna e. Heating the area where the
furna e is lo ated an be regulated by the furna e lid (Fig. 1, pos. 1), whi h has good insulating properties and
by opening/ losing it, the furna e heating properties are in reasing/de reasing.

NIGHTTIME OPERATION
Clean the grate from slag and ash and refill the furna e with fuel as des ribed above. When using fuels ri h in
volatile gases, set the regulation swit h to night-time operation, only after ombustion gases are emitted, and
then set airflow regulator (thermostat) to position 4–5.
IMPORTANT:
Do not fill the firebox with fuel that emits many gases and then lose the airflow regulator – thermostat.
MAINTENANCE
Live oal should be stirred with the fire hook through the fixed grate or furna e grate prior to ea h filling of
the furna e with fuel.
Use the grate shaker handle with the losed door, shake the bottom grate so that ash may fall through the
grate into the ash pan. At least on e a day, lean the ash from the ash pan, and remove other residue (slag) by
opening the door for kindling and ash pan, as well as the fixed grate.
All furna e areas exposed to flue gases should be maintained regularly and leaned with a leaning spatula,
and a leaning brush (Fig. 2). Clean heating surfa es guarantee e onomi al operation of the furna e.
Furna e should be leaned at least on e a month, and in ase of higher ontamination of the inner surfa es, it
should be leaned more often.
CLEANING STEPS
1. Remove and lean the hob (Fig. 1, pos. 2).
2. Remove the sheet metal for smoke emission dire tion (Fig. 2, pos. 11), lean it and pla e it ba k a ording to
furna e assembly instru tions.
3. Clean the area around the airflow regulator (thermostat), making sure not to damage the ele troni s.
4. Clean the himney pot.
5. Clean the furna e ombustion hamber area.
MAINTENANCE OF FURNACE’S EXTERIOR
Clean the enamelled areas and the stainless frame of the furna e with a wet loth and gentle detergents.
Clean the furna e hob periodi ally with fine sandpaper, and if the hob is not used for heating for longer
periods, oat it with vegetable oil.
Che k the water quality and the amount needed to fill the furna e and installation.
There should be no litter in the furna e after the heating season.
IMPORTANT:
Do not ool the furna e using artifi ial draught after heating.
Do not wet firebox for ooling purposes.

PRESERVING THE FURNACE
At the end of the heating season, furna e should be leaned from ash and soot, as well as the installation filled
with water. Water should be drained only if repairs to the installation are required.
If the installation will not be used during the heating season, repla e water with an anti-freeze liquid or drain
it in order to prevent freezing.
USING THE TOP GRATE
Use the top grate for ooking and leaning during hange of seasons (Fig. 11 b, pos. 2), so that flame is
dire ted to the hob, thus ensuring ost savings in ooking and heating.
- After he king the proper fun tioning of the furna e and installation, open the filling door (Fig. 1, pos.
3) and use the handle to pla e the top grate (Fig. 11 b, pos. 2) in a horizontal position. After that, light
the furna e as per above instru tions.
- On e there is enough live oal, fill the firebox with fuel through an opening in the hob, while it is best
to fill the firebox to the maximum and use the airflow regulator to ontrol the amount of generated
heat.
IMPORTANT:
- When using the furna e for heating during the heating season, dea tivate the top grate by pla ing the
handle (Fig. 11 b, pos. 1) in a verti al position.
- Simultaneous use of the top and bottom grate is not re ommended.

TIME OF GUARANTEED SERVICING
This implies the period during which we guarantee the service, accessories and space parts, starting from the day
of purchase of the device.
The time of guaranteed servicing is in accordance with the valid legal regulations.
In case of change of the model and the design of the device, the term for change of parts that have modified
design is within the legal term.
After this term we provide the modified parts in the new designs.
CONDITIONS OF THE GUARANTEE
The guarantee of the product is valid within the legally defined term.
The guarantee is not valid for the glass, the glass-ceramic panel and the physical damages that have
occurred after purchase.
THE MANUFACTURER RETAINS ALL THE RIGHTS TO MAKE CHANGES.
The device will properly function within the guaranteed term only if it is used in accordance with these guidelines
for connection and application.
The guarantee cases to apply if it is determined that:
-the connection or the repair of the product was performed by an unauthorized person, that is, if unoriginal parts
have been embedded,
- if the device has not been properly used in accordance with these guidelines,
- if some mechanical damaging of the device occurred during usage,
- if the repairs of defects were performed by an unauthorized person,
- if the device has been used for commercial purposes,
- if the damage has occurred during transportation after the device was sold,
- if the defects occurred due to improper mounting, improper maintenance or mechanical damaging by the buyer,
- if the defect occurred after too strong or insufficient power, as well due to force major.
We can repair the defects of Your device also outside the guaranteed period, with original spare parts for which
we also provide a guarantee under the same conditions.
This guarantee does not exclude or affect the rights of the customer in regard to the conformity of the goods
pursuant to the legal regulations. If the delivered product does not conform to the agreement, the customer has
the right to ask the seller to repair that lack of conformity without any reimbursement, by repair or change of the
product in accordance with the valid legal regulations.
