QUICK START GUIDE
Before First Use
• Wash and rinse out the plastic water tanks thoroughly
before use.
• Remove the lter from its packaging then fully cover and
soak in cold clean water for 30 minutes and then rinse off
under cold clean running tap water
• You may notice a ne black dust come out of the lter. This
will happen on all new lters and when water is ltered
through it the rst couple of uses. This is no cause for
alarm. It is just the dust from the activated carbon inside
the lter. Although it looks unsightly, it will not harm you.
• Insert lter and ensure it sits at and fully seated.
When you turn on the switch to “on” at the back of the unit, you will
see a red light indicating the water cooler is chilling the water. When
the indicator light from red light to blue light indicating the water
approximately 800ml cold tank has fully chilled.
Red light: Water is chilling.
Blue light: The water has fully
chilled for drinking.

Note: Please read through the instructions carefully before using or installing the product and ensure that the
manual is kept in a safe place for future reference.
The system must be properly installed and located in accordance with the installation instructions before it is
used.
Water Quality
Caution: Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or with water of unknown quality without
adequate disinfection before or after the system. This unit should only be used with water that has been
adequately chlorinated or disinfected. For use with ambient water only.

This appliance is designed for either household or personal use.
Each model is designed to supply a certain maximum number of servings per hour. Please consult with your
sales representative or our website for the proper unit for your specic needs.
Any servicing other than cleaning and user maintenance will violate the terms of this WARRANTY and warranty
will be void.

Operation Conditions and Safety Precautions
Read all instructions carefully.
• Do not store explosive substances such as aerosol cans with a ammable propellant in or near this appliance.
• This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar personal applications such as:
»Personal desk and other small working environments
»Residential type environments
• All components need to be installed in accordance with the user manual for correct performance of unit.
• To reduce the risk of re or electric shock, turn off power and unplug before replacing lter and for cleaning
the unit.
• Do not lter hot or boiling water through the unit.
• You may see small amounts of black particles at times; these are small pieces of carbon from the lter. These
carbon particles are food grade and are not harmful. They will not impair the performance of your lter or
unit.
• Do not leave water in the lter bottle for extended periods of time. If water has been left in the water lter
bottle for an extended period of time we recommend that you empty the water lter bottle and repeat the
cleaning procedure
• Replace lter cartridge every 150 litres or 2 months, whichever occurs rst, or whenever you detect a change
in taste, odour or a decrease in ow.
• Please disassemble and clean the unit every 1- 2 months.
• Never clean with scouring powders or abrasives.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
• To protect against re, electric shock and personal injury, do not immerse cord, plugs, or appliance in water or
other liquid.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or has been
damaged in any manner.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualied
persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may result in re, electric
shock or personal injury. Warranty will be void.
• Keep the product away from direct sunlight.
• Do not use outdoors.
• Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
• This appliance should always be used in conjunction with a safety switch.
• Ensure unit is properly grounded.
• A power outlet is required to operate the water cooler.
• Do not immerse water cooler base in water or try to disassemble.
• Ventilation - The water cooler air vents must not be obstructed at any time and free from dust accumulation,
air ow is required for unit to operate effectively. Place unit in a at well-ventilated location at least 100mm
from wall or other appliances.
• For best performance, do not place the unit near an oven, heater, direct sunlight or any other heat source and
keep vents clear of dust.

Sanitising Instructions Prior To Use - Recommended
It is recommended to follow the ushing procedure below to prime your system ready for use.
Flushing Procedure
1. Combine two tablespoons of Baking Soda; bicarbonate soda, with 2 litres of luke-warm water into a
separate jug or container and set aside.
2. Remove the unltered water chamber from the cooler, including the lter.
3. Pour the bicarbonate mixture into the ltered water chamber.
4. Hold the Chilled Water Tap in until water comes from the tap. This ensures the mixture has entered the
internal water tank.
5. Cycle the bicarbonate mixture through the front taps and repour back into the top reservoir. Repeat this
process a couple of times.
6. Turn power on and allow the solution to sit in the cooler for a minimum of 4 hours (ideally leave
overnight).
7. Drain all the bicarbonate mixture out through the Chilled Water Tap until you can no longer drain any
water.
8. Remove the Drain Plug from underneath the unit to drain any excess water in the cooling tank. This is
important to ensure all of the mixture is removed from the cooler.
9. While the Drain Plug is open, pour 2L of water through to remove any excess bicarbonate mixture from
the system. Reinstate drain cap and Unltered Water Chamber.
10. Flush clean water through the unit and drain out via tap. Tilt the unit back and forth to remove trapped
water from unit.

Cleaning And Sanitation
WARNING: Turn off power and unplug unit before cleaning. The lter cartridge should be replaced every 150L
or 2 months, whichever occurs rst, to ensure lters performs as stated. If water has been left sitting in unit for
more than 3 days, discard water and ush out unit.
Cleaning
It is recommended that the unit is disassembled and cleaned periodically (every 2-3 months)
To clean:
1. Remove the lter and remove the Unltered Water Chamber
2. Wash the Unltered Water Chamber with warm soapy water
3. Use a damp non-abrasive cloth to wipe down the outside of the unit. Do not immerse body of unit in
water
4. Dry unit and parts with a soft dry cloth
SANITATION
1. Combine two tablespoons of baking soda (bicarbonate soda) with 2 litres of luke warm water into a
separate jug or container and set aside
2. Remove the Unltered Water Chamber and Filter Cartridge
3. Pour mixture into Filtered Water Chamber
4. Hold down the tap to ensure mixture lls the cooling tank. Leave for a minimum of 4 hours (ideally leave
overnight)
5. Drain out mixture then ush 2-3 L of clean water through the unit until it has been ushed clean.
6. Remove the Drain Plug (underneath unit) to drain any excess water in the cooling tank. This is important
to ensure all of the bicarbonate mixture is removed from the cooler.
7. With the drain plug still removed, pour 2L of water through to remove any excess bicarbonate mixture
from the system. Reinstate drain plug.
8. Flush clean water through the unit and rain out via taps. Tilt the unit back and forth to remove trapper
water from unit.

Filter Replacement Tracker
Use the lter replacement tracker dial on top of the lid to help you keep track of when your next lter
replacement is due.
For example, if lter was installed in January turn the dial to show 1 (indicating 1st month of year). The ‘Change’
window will show 3 (indicating lter replacement is due in March, 3rd month of year) [see gure 1 below]

Troubleshooting
Before you call for service please review the trouble shooting tips rst.

panel, the fan may have moved to a
different position, this will cause noise.
Call Aqua Cooler customer service for
assistance.
Bad taste from
cooler
New product, new silicone or new tap. Follow the sanitising instructions earlier in
this document.
Build up bacteria.

12 Month Repair or Replacement Warranty
Warrants this appliance to the rst purchaser and subject to the stated conditions:
Warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship in the manufactured product within the rst twelve
months from date of purchase.
Product will be repaired or replaced at our discretion. Repair or replacement costs will be covered under
warranty by Aqua Cooler.
Goods presented for repair may be replaced by refurbished goods of the same type rather then being replaced.
Refurbished parts may be used for the repair of goods.
Warranty does not cover lter cartridge which is a consumable unless proven to have defects in material or
workmanship in the manufactured product.
The benets given to you by this warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies of the consumer law in
relation to the goods or services to which this warranty relates.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled
to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonable foreseeable loss or
damage.
You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if goods fail to acceptable quality and the failure
does not amount to a major failure.
Conditions of This Warranty:
1. This product has been fully installed in accordance with
the user manual installation instructions.
2. The warranty extends only to repairing or replacing
any component that proves to be defective in material
or workmanship.
3. The warranty does not cover defects occasioned
by misuse, alterations, accidents, or used for other than
the intended purpose.
4. The warranty does not cover use of this product where water is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown
quality, without adequate disinfection before or after the system.
5. The warranty does not cover damage to the product caused by accident, re, or oods, power surges or
blackouts.
