Congratulations on youracquisitionof the Aragon Palladium2 DifferentialMonoblock
Amplifier.- The Palladium2 is a state-of-the-artcomponent. Yearsof dedicated research,
extensivetesting,and engineeringrefinementwent intothisAragonexclusive.
Aragon componentsoffer unparalleledflexibilityand performanceto the discriminating
musiclover. YourPalladium2 incorporatesmany advanced designand constructionfeatures

We recommend playing your Palladium 2 a minimum of 24 hours before performing any
critical listening. We do understand that most of you will not 'wait that long. Therefore, please
note that your Palladium 2 will improve sonicly over the course of the first week. During this time,
you will notice the sound from your Palladium 2 will become richer, warmer and' more open.
After this first week of break-in the high current bias of the Palladium 2 will allow the amplifier to
reach it's proper operating temperature within 20 minutes from turn on. From this point forward
we strongly recommend that you turn the amplifier OFFwhen not listening to music.

this section in order to facilitate your understanding of the control options available.

POWERON/OFF
Thisrocker switch turns the A/C power
ON (press top) or OFF(press bottom.)
POWERINDICATOR
This light will be on whenever the
Palladium 2 isin the on position.
BALANCEDINPUT
This is the input when'. using an XLR
balanced preamplifier. In single ended
versions this connector will be an RCA
type.
SPEAKEROUTPUT"+"
Theseare.the"+"outputsforthespeaker.
SPEAKEROUTPUT"-"
Theseare the "-"outputs for the speaker.
A/C POWERCONNECTOR
This3 prong connector is for the A/C
power'input.
LINE FUSEHOLDER
Thisis the A/C fuse protection holder.
Use12amp sloblow.
GENERALPRECAUTIONS
. Never allow the speaker cable termination's to touch at either the 'back of the amplifier or
the speaker"terminals. Alwaysturnoff the Palladium\2when connecting or moving your
loudspeakers.
. Your Palladium 2 isdesigned to be free standing,placed on an audio rack or stacked with
I other components.
. Always be sure to provide enough space {at least 1Y2inches) at the top and the rear of the
, Palladium 2 to allow sufficient air flow through the ventilation slots. Failure to do this will
cause severe damage to the unit.
. Never place your Palladium 2 directly on carpet. Always place on a hard flat surface to
allow for proper ventilation.
SYSTEMSETUP
Please note that the following instructions refer to connection for both monoblocks 'in a
stereosystem.
1. INPUTCONNECTION
Usingappropriate cables (RCAor XLR),connect your variable output source (preamp, D\A
converter, surroundsound processor,etc.) to the corresponding inputs on the back of each
Palladium 2. Consult your author~zedAragon dealer for his or her recommendations on
cables, speaker wire and bi-wiring.

OUTPUTCONNECTION
Before connecting your Palladium 2 to the loudspeakers make sure that the power is off.
Your amplifier isequipped with dual five-way binding posts. These are very convenient when
bi-wiring your speakers. Either set of posts may be used when not bi:'wiring. Using
appropriate speaker cable (14 GA minimum in short runs and 12 GA in long runs over 25 ft.)
connect the left channel "-" output from the Palladium 2 to the "-" input of the left speaker.
Connect the left channel' "+" output from the Palladium 2 to the il+"input of the left speaker.
Repeat this procedure for the right speaker connections. Ii is very important to make sure "+"

Plug the A/C power cord into the back of you~ Palladium 2 and then into your A/C wall
outlet. '
