Place Front Plate on non-slip surface for assembly. If you would
like to have access to the home button after installation, keep
home button hole open.

If you would like to disable access to the home button after
installation, press in Home Button Cover into home button hole.

Place iPad into Front Plate as shown, placing the bottom of the
iPad in first.

Plug 30-Pin to Mini USB Charging Cord or Lightning to Mini
USB Charging Cord into iPad.

4a Place Bottom Adapter onto Front Plate by snapping it into the
bottom of the Front Plate. 4b Position cord to the right.
5a If you want access to the Power and /or Volume Buttons, place
the Power / Volume Toggles into frame as shown. 5b
The toggles should ‘hook’ over the edge of the frame and touch the iPad’s
buttons. If you want to disable access, skip this step. You may choose you
only want access to the volume, if so, do not put in the top toggle.

Place Back Plate next to Front Plate and iPad if you haven’t
already done so. Plug Mini USB into the Mini USB connector on
the Back Plate.

If you want to disable access to the Audio Jack, snap Audio Jack
Cover into Back Plate. If you want access to the Audio Jack,
skip this step.
9Place Back Plate onto Front Plate.
10 Screw each Security Screw into the Back Plate using Security
Driver . Start with the upper top right and bottom left. 11 Plug Mini USB to USB Charging Cord into the bottom of the
Charging Base.

14 Insert Mini USB to USB Charging Cord (USB connector first) into
thimble hole. 15 Place Charging Base onto surface, placing the Mounting Thimble
into the larger (3/4") hole.

Using the supplied mounting template, tape into place where you would
like to mount your Archelon. Using a 3/4" drill bit (for thimble hole
only!), drill through your surface. Using a 1/4" drill bit, drill bolt hole.
12 Thread your Charging Cord through the Mounting Thimble
as shown.

16 Install Lag Bolt (or Machined Bolt) with supplied Pan
Washer , Nut & Lock Washers .
18 To charge unit, plug the Charging Cord into an iPad power
transformer (not included) and plug into power receptacle. 19 Attach enclosure to base and lock with Key as shown.

1INSTRUCTIONS FOR OPTIONAL MOUNTING BASE:
Thread Mini
USB to USB Charging Cord through thimble hole of Mounting Base.
Thread cord through the cord management canal as shown. Install Machined Bolt with supplied hardware. Remove the VHB
tape and place onto your smooth, clean surface!
Position Charging Base onto Mounting Base, placing the
Mounting Thimble into the larger (3/4") hole.
