WiFi Camera Manual
1. To mount the camera to your QX-130 without
modicaon, slide the front camera mount into the front
slot on the QX-130 leaving the rear mount to rest on the
outside of the rear slot. The camera is adequately secure
with only the front mount engaged. Due to interference with the QX-130 accessory
leg, camera only mounts at front socket
2. If you wish to mount the camera into both slots you will
need to shorten the right rear leg mount so that it doesn’t
interfere with the camera’s WiFi antenna. Even if you cut
the leg mount there will sll be enough socket remaining
so that the accessory legs can sll be mounted when
other accessories are used. To install camera to both mounts the rear leg
socket of the QX-130 will need to be shortened
3. The QX-130 has a 4-pin camera socket, the WiFi camera
only has a 3-pin plug. Plug the 3-pin plug onto the le 3
pins of the 4-pin socket and with the red wire to the le.
4. Go to the App Store for your device and look up the
WiFi_UFO app and download it to your smart device.
5. Plug the LiPo baery into the quadcopter.
6. Open your WiFi sengs locaon and locate the WiFi
“LG_....” and connect to it.
7. Open the App WiFi_UFO and press “Play” to enter the
operaon mode.
8. If the gimbal graphics are showing press “ON” to
hide the graphics. The WiFi camera does not ulize
these funcons.
9. Install the smartphone holder onto the front of your
transmier and clip smartphone in holder.

your 2.4GHz transmier.
11. Record video on your smartphone
by tapping the video icon.
12. Record sll photo by tapping the
photo icon.
13. Access your recordings by tapping
the open le icon.
This product is a lightweight, high performance WiFi FPV camera with a resoluon of
1280x720px video at 30fps. The video is transmied directly to your smartphone device
and recorded by your phone. Sll photos can also be captured on your smartphone.
Suitable for the Ethos QX130 and the Shadow 240. For the Shadow 240, please refer to
the instrucon manual supplied with your quad.

Limited Warranty
Ares products are covered by the currently valid statutory warranty regulaons. If you wish
to make a claim under the limited warranty, please contact the model shop where you
originally purchased the unit.
The limited warranty does not cover:
Damage due to commercial use, negligence, misuse, abuse, accident, or acts of God;
Damage due to improper installaon, operaon or maintenance;
Normal wear and tear;
Cosmec damage;
Modicaons or repairs not carried out by Ares or by an authorised Ares Service Centre;
Product not purchased from an authorized Ares dealer;
The use of accessories other than original Ares items;
Use of the unit outside the stated specicaon;
Ares and its authorised representaves accept no liability for loss, damage or costs which are
caused by the incorrect or incompetent use of the product.

concerning Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE).
The WEEE Direcve came into force to reduce the disposal of domesc waste and promote
recycling. Any electrical item that carries the crossed out wheelie bin logo must not be
disposed of in domesc waste but should be taken to a designated collecon facility.
