1).Push thebatterydooratthebottomoftheDV.
2). Openthebatterydoor.
3).Insetthebatteryaccordingtothepositivepole.
Noticetothebatterysecurity
1).Thelithiumbatterykeepstheclockrunningandinternalflashmemory
whentheACadapterisunconnected.
2). Inthepropercondition,the lithiumbatteryusuallylastsfor 3hoursafter
it’sfullycharged.
Nobattery Lowbattery
3).Chargethebatterywhenthesignalasabovesaidappears.
4).ConsultTechnicalSupportifthebatteryneedsreplaced.

Pleasesetthetime(date/time)beforerecording,sinceitwillshowonthe
imageorvideoautomatically.

1. Setthe memorycardin “UNLOCK”status;
2. Insertthe memorycardintothecardslotandpoweron;
3. Press“REC/PLAY”buttontoenter“SETUP”menu；
3. pushthe5waybuttonleft/righttoselect“format”;
4. Pressthe“OK”buttontoconfirm,thenpress5waybuttonup/downto
select“Yes”tostartformatting;
5. Formatting may lasts 2 – 3 minutes, then return to the submenu
automatically;
7：Press“REC/PLAY”or“MENU”buttontoreturntothemainmenu.
3.5Mediaselect
TheInternalflash ofthismodelis128MB,externalcardis optional.
Youcanchoosetosaveintheinternalflashorexternalcard.
1）Poweronandpress“REC/PLAY”buttontoenter“Setup”menu;
2）Pushthe5waybuttonup/down toselect“mediaselect” icon;

3）Pressthe“OK” button to enter media selectingsetup,both internalflash
andexternalcardcanbeselected;
4）Push the 5way button up/down toselect“internal flash” or “external
card”,pressthe“OK”buttontoconfirmandreturntothesubmenu,
5）Press“REC/PLAY”or“MENU”buttontoreturntothemainmenu.
Note: the default setting is “External card” when the memory card is
inserted;otherwise,thedefaultsettingis“internalflash”.
3.6Defaultsetting
1).Poweronandpress“REC/PLAY”buttontoenter“Setup”menu;
2).Push the5waybuttontoselect“defaultsetting”;
3).Pressthe “OK”buttontoenterdefaultsettingsetup
4).Pushthe5waybuttonup/downtoselect“yes”or“no”,thenpressthe
“OK”buttontoconfirmandreturntothesubmenu.
5).Press“REC/PLAY”or“MENU”buttontoreturntothemainmenu.
Note: all settings of the submenu will restore tothe default setting
whenyouselect“Yes”.

Youcansettheautopowerofftime tosavethebattery;
1).Poweronandpress“REC/PLAY”buttontoenter“Setup”menu;
2).Pushthe5waybuttonleft/righttoselect“powersave”;
3).Pressthe“OK”buttontoconfirmandenter“powersave”setting;
4). Push the 5way button to confirm and enter, youcan select “none”,
“60s”, “2min”, press the “OK” button to confirm and return to the
submenu.
5).Press“REC/PLAY”or“MENU”buttontoreturntothemainmenu.
Note:autopoweroffcannotbeperformedwhen“none”isselected.

1).Poweronandpress“REC/PLAY”buttontoenter“Setup”menu;
2).Pushthe5waybuttonleft/right toselect“TVmode”;

Thereare6basicfunctionsof thisproduct:VCamera, camera,video, mp3,
JPEG,record.
4.1.Videomode
1).Poweronandentervideomodeautomatically；
2).Pressthe“shutter”buttontostartvideoclip;
3).Pressthe“shutter”buttonagaintoendvideoclip.
Notice:Thevideoclip timedependsonthememorycapacity.
Inthevideomode,Press“MENU”buttontoenterthesubmenutosetthe
resolution,frame rate,audioandwhitebalance.

“30fps”or“15fps”
4.Pushthe5waybuttonup/downtoselecttheframe rateyouprefer;
5. Pressthe “OK”buttontoconfirm andreturntothe submenu of video
mode;
6.Press“MENU”buttontoreturntothevideomode;
Notice:thehighertheframerate,theshorterthevideocliptime,and
theframeratealsoaffectsthevideoquality.
c. Audio
Voice recording is performed if you select audio function in the video
mode;

2.Pushthe5waybuttonleft/righttoselect“whitebalance”;
3. Press the “OK” button to confirm, white balance option: “auto”,
“daylight”,“Tungsten”,“fluoresce”and“cloudy”;
4.Pushthe5waybuttonup/downtoselectthewhitebalanceyouprefer;
5.Pressthe“OK”buttontoconfirmandreturntothesubmenuofvideo
mode;
6.Pressthe“MENU”buttontoreturntothevideomode.
4.2.Cameramode

Notice:

2.DonotopenthebatterydoortotakeoutthebatteryorSDcardduring
the image saving status. Otherwise, it may cause the image lost or
damaged.
4.2.1Digitalzoom
Howtousedigitalzoom?
1. Press“T”or“W”buttontoadjustthedigitalzoomin“camera” mode;
2. Pressthe “Shutter”buttontostartcapturing.
Notice:Tozoominmore,thelowerqualityoftheimage.
In order to obtain the optimized effect, you can adjust in the submenu
undertheCameramode:capturemode,datestamp,flashmode,scenery,
EV,quality,resolution,whitebalance,colorandquickpreview.
a. Capturemode
Youcanselect“single”,“sequence(continuouscapture)”,“10stimer”,“20s
timer”incameramode.
1. IntheCameramode,Pressthe“menu”buttontoenterthesubmenu;
2. Pushthe5waybuttontoleft/righttoselect“capture mode”;
3. Pressthe“OK”buttontoconfirmandselect“single”,“sequence”,“10s

timer”,“20stimer”;
4. Pushthe5waybuttonup/downtoselect;
5. Press the “OK” button to confirm and return to the submenu of
Cameramode.
Notice: the maximum shooting is 3 images when in “sequence”
mode.
b. Datestamp
1. Youcansettheminute,hour,day,monthandyearfirstlyinthe“time”
modeofthe“setup”menu;
2. Pressthe “REC/PLAY”buttontoreturntothemainmenu;

4.3.Playback
Youcanplaybackthevideoclipinthe“Playback”mode.
1.Poweronandentervideomodeautomatically；
2.Pressthe“REC/PLAY”buttontoenterthe mainmenu;
3.Pushthe5waybuttonleft/righttoselectthe“playback” mode;
4.Pressthe“OK”buttontoconfirmandenterthe“playback”mode;
5.Pressthe“OK”buttontoplaythevideoclips;
6.Pressthe“OK”buttonagaintostopplaying;
7. Push the 5way button upwards to play the previous clip, push
downwardstoplaythenextclip.
Note:
1.Thisproductisonlyavailablefor AVIformatonvideoplaybackmode;
2. The downloaded movieshould be renamed; the file name should be
“PICT”andfollowedby4numbers.Forexample,todownloadthe movie
named<Ilovethisgame>fromyourcomputer:
(1)Renamethe movie asthefilenameof<PICT0050>inyourcomputer
anddonotusethesamename;

(2)Copythefile<PICT0050>intotheDCIMfilefolderofthisproduct;
(3) Disconnectthe USB cable; themoviecan be played in“playback”
mode.
In “playback” mode, press the “menu” button to enter the submenu of
delete,thumbnail,setlogo,rotate,print,lock,cropandslideshow.
Remarks: Rotate, print, crop and slideshow function is not available in
videoplaybackmode.
a.Deleteclip
Youcanenterthesubmenuofplaybackmode todeletethevideoclip.
1. In“playback”mode,pressthe“menu”buttontoenterthesubmenu;
2. Pushthe5waybuttontoleft/righttoselect“delete”;
3. Pressthe“OK” button toconfirmandPushthe5waybuttonup/down
toselect“deletecurrent”or“deleteall”;
4. Pressthe“OK”button toconfirmandselect“yes”or“no”;
5. Select “yes” by the 5way button and press the “OK” button to
confirm.
b.Thumbnail
Youcanviewthevideoclipquicklyinthumbnailmode.
1. Undervideomode,pressthe “menu”buttontoenterthesubmenu;
2. Select“thumbnail”bypushingthe5waybutton left/right;
3. Pressthe“OK”button toconfirmtopreviewallthumbnails;
4. Youcanprevieweachvideobypushingthe5waybutton;
5. Whenyouselectonevideoclip,pressthe“OK”buttontopreviewfull
screenvideoclip.
