Why is the value 0 ppm? The default value is 0 ppm, because the natural carbon monoxide (CO)
in the air is approximately 0.2 ppm, which is rounded to 0 ppm. The display always shows the real-
time value of the amount of CO, but in a "normal" situation this is 0 ppm.
The installation instructions must be followed strictly to avoid unsafe conditions.
Do not paint your detector.
The battery cannot be replaced; do not try to replace the battery as this will render the detector
unuseable and can cause a fire due to the high-capacity lithium battery.
CO detectors are not smoke detectors. This CO detector is not a substitute for installing and
maintaining an appropriate number of smoke detectors in your home.

The device is deactivated by default before leaving our factory.
Before the detector can be used, it must be activated.
A. Activate/Deactivate the detector

Power on: Set the switch on the back of the detector to “ON” using the supplied stick. The
detector beeps and the LCD screen lights up blue, after which the value increases from
000 to 999. When the screen is at 0 ppm, the detector is activated.
Power off: Set the switch on the back of the detector to “OFF” using the supplied stick.

B. Test your alarm
Test the detector to ensure proper operation by pressing the test button. The alarm will sound if the
detector is working well. If there is no sound, refer to the “Trouble shooting” section.

DO NOT test your detector using an open flame. This may
damage the detector or ignite combustible materials and
start a structural fire.
DO NOT stand close to the detector when the alarm is
sounding. Exposure at close range may be harmful to your
ears.
Test the detector at least once a month.

NEVER IGNORE ANY ALARM, carbon monoxide can be deadly.
CAUTION
E. Silence mode
Silence mode should only be used if the source of the alarm is known and safe. Press the test
button to set the silence mode. During silence mode, the red LED light flashes once every 8
seconds. The detector is automatically reset after 10 minutes.
Before using the silence mode, identify the source and be certain a safe
condition exists.
CAUTION
If an alarm signal sounds, immediately move to fresh air and do not re-enter the premises until it has
been aired out and your alarm returns to its normal condition. Investigate the source of the CO
release and repair the defect.
When does the alarm sound?

F. Connect detector to your mobile phone
Step 1: A 2.4 GHz WiFi network is required to connect. If your
network broadcasts on both 2.4 and 5 GHz, disable 5 GHz during
the pairing process (as per your router manual).
Step 2: Install the Tuya Smart- or Smart Life-app on your
smartphone by scanning the QR-code on the right.
Step 3: Enable Bluetooth via settings on your phone. The app also
needs permission to use Bluetooth.

Step 4: Activate pairing mode by pressing the test button 4 times within 1 second. If this is done
correctly, the red LED light will flash rapidly. After a few seconds this will change to a green LED that
flashes rapidly for 1 minute. Within this minute you can link the detector to your app.
Step 5: Click on the “+” in the top right corner of the app home screen. Then choose “Add device”, as
you see in Figure 1. The app will now automatically look for devices that are in pairing mode. Follow
the steps as described in the app.

If the app itself does not yet have permission to use Bluetooth,
click on the notification and follow the steps to allow the app to
access Bluetooth as you see in Figure 2.
Frequently Asked Questions
Alarm: If an alarm sounds when you try to activate pairing
mode, a test is activated because you did not press fast enough.
After the alarm stops, try pressing the test button again 4 times
as quickly as possible within 1 second.
Low battery: The first time the detector is connected, the app
may incorrectly report that the battery is almost empty.
Disconnect the detector and then reconnect it. If the notification
is given again by the app, please contact us.

Central location in the room, at least 30 centimeters from walls.
Avoid existing air inlets or outlets and other objects on the ceiling.
Avoid locations behind objects such as curtains and cupboards.
Mounting instructions: Use sticky pads or screws to mount the detector, or place the detector in the
desired location without permanently mounting it.
H. Maintenance and cleaning
There are a few steps you need do to keep it working properly:
Test the detector at least once a month.
Do not paint the detector. Paint will seal the vents and interfere with the sensor’s ability to detect
CO.
Never attempt to disassemble the detector to clean inside. This will damage the detector and
possibly render it unuseable.
Clean the detector at least once a month to remove dust, dirt or debris. Use a vacuum cleaner
with a soft brush and vacuum all sides and covers of the detector.
Some materials, vapours or gases, can affect the reliability of the alarms in the short or long term.
Ethylene, ethanol, alcohol, iso-propanol, benzene, toluene, ethylacetate, hydrogen, hydrogen
sulfide and sulfur dioxide are substances that at high levels can damage the sensor or cause
temporary readings that are not CO readings. Also most aerosol sprays, alcohol based products,
paint, thinner, solvent, adhesive, hair spray, after shave, perfume, auto exhaust (cold start) and
some cleaning agents.
G. Mount the detector
Determine correct mounting location: Detectors should be installed in a room with a combustion
appliance (possible source of CO).
At a horizontal distance between 1-3 meters from the CO source.
OR, in rooms without combustion appliance place the detector on breathing height.

J. Two years of warranty
During the specified warranty period of 2 years after purchase, we will repair or replace any defective
detector that is returned. This warranty shall not apply to the detector if it has been damaged,
modified, neglected, abused or altered after the date of purchase or if it fails to operate due to
improper maintenance, and the unit will not be replaced or repaired. Please contact us at
[e-mail] regarding the warranty.
The manufacturer shall have no liability for any personal injury, property damage or any special,
incidental, contingent or consequential damage of any kind resulting from gas leakage, smoke, fire
or explosion.
I. Trouble shooting
The detector does not sound when testing: Check whether the detector is activated.
The detector beeps every 60 seconds and red LED flashes: The battery is low; the detector needs
to be replaced. Contact us on [e-mail] to replace it if the warranty is still in
place.
The detector beeps every 40 seconds and orange LED flashes: Clean the detector, by using a
vacuum cleaner with a soft brush and vacuum all sides and covers of the detector. If the issue
continues, the detector is malfunctioning. Contact us on [e-mail] to replace it
if the warranty is still in place.
The detector beeps every 30 seconds and orange LED flashes: The detector is no longer working
properly and needs to be replaced. Contact us on [e-mail] to replace it if the
warranty is still in place.

Warum ist der Wert 0 ppm? Der Standardwert beträgt 0 ppm, da das natürliche Kohlenmonoxid
(CO) in der Luft etwa 0,2 ppm beträgt, was auf 0 ppm gerundet wird. Das Display zeigt immer den

B. Testen Sie Ihren Alarm
Testen Sie den Melder, um sicherzustellen, dass er ordnungsgemäß funktioniert, indem Sie die

Die Batterie kann nicht ausgetauscht werden; Versuchen Sie nicht, die Batterie auszutauschen, da
dies den Detektor unbrauchbar macht und aufgrund der Lithiumbatterie mit hoher Kapazität
einen Brand verursachen kann.
CO-Melder sind keine Rauchmelder. Dieser CO-Melder ist kein Ersatz für die Installation und
Wartung einer angemessenen Anzahl von Rauchmeldern in Ihrem Zuhause.

E. Ruhemodus
Der Ruhemodus sollte nur verwendet werden, wenn die Alarmquelle bekannt und sicher ist. Drücken
Sie die Testtaste, um den Stummschaltungsmodus einzustellen. Im Stummschaltungsmodus blinkt
das rote LED-Licht alle 8 Sekunden einmal. Der Melder wird nach 10 Minuten automatisch
zurückgesetzt.
Bevor Sie den Stummschaltungsmodus verwenden, identifizieren Sie die
Quelle und stellen Sie sicher, dass ein sicherer Zustand herrscht.
VORSICHT
Wenn ein Alarmsignal ertönt, gehen Sie sofort an die frische Luft und betreten Sie den Raum nicht
wieder, bis er gelüftet wurde und Ihr Alarm wieder in den Normalzustand zurückkehrt. Untersuchen Sie
die Quelle der CO-Freisetzung und beheben Sie den Defekt.

F. Verbinden Sie den Detektor mit Ihrem Mobiltelefon
Schritt 1: Für die Verbindung ist ein 2,4-GHz-WLAN-Netzwerk
erforderlich. Wenn Ihr Netzwerk sowohl auf 2,4 als auch auf 5 GHz
sendet, deaktivieren Sie 5 GHz während des Kopplungsvorgangs
(gemäß dem Handbuch Ihres Routers).
Schritt 2: Installieren Sie die Tuya Smart- oder Smart Life-App auf
Ihrem Smartphone, indem Sie den QR-Code rechts scannen.
Schritt 3: Aktivieren Sie Bluetooth über die Einstellungen Ihres Telefons. Die App benötigt außerdem
die Erlaubnis, Bluetooth zu verwenden.

Schritt 4: Aktivieren Sie den Pairing-Modus, indem Sie die Testtaste
innerhalb von 1 Sekunde viermal drücken. Wenn dies korrekt
durchgeführt wird, blinkt das rote LED-Licht schnell. Nach einigen
Sekunden wechselt die Anzeige zu einer grünen LED, die 1 Minute
lang schnell blinkt. Innerhalb dieser Minute können Sie den Detektor
mit Ihrer App verknüpfen.
Schritt 5: Klicken Sie auf das „+“ in der oberen rechten Ecke des App-
Startbildschirms. Wählen Sie dann „Gerät hinzufügen“, wie Sie in
Abbildung 1 sehen. Die App sucht nun automatisch nach Geräten,
die sich im Kopplungsmodus befinden. Befolgen Sie die Schritte wie
in der App beschrieben.
Wenn die App selbst noch nicht über die Berechtigung zur
Verwendung von Bluetooth verfügt, klicken Sie auf die
Benachrichtigung und befolgen Sie die Schritte, um der App den
Zugriff auf Bluetooth zu ermöglichen, wie in Abbildung 2 dargestellt.
Häufig gestellte Fragen
Alarm: Wenn beim Versuch, den Pairing-Modus zu aktivieren, ein
Alarm ertönt, wird ein Test aktiviert, weil Sie nicht schnell genug
gedrückt haben. Versuchen Sie nach dem Stoppen des Alarms, die
Testtaste innerhalb einer Sekunde so schnell wie möglich viermal
erneut zu drücken.
Schwacher Akku: Beim ersten Anschließen des Melders meldet die
App möglicherweise fälschlicherweise, dass der Akku fast leer ist.
Trennen Sie den Detektor und schließen Sie ihn dann wieder an.
Sollte die Benachrichtigung erneut durch die App erfolgen,
kontaktieren Sie uns bitte.

H. Wartung und Reinigung
Damit es ordnungsgemäß funktioniert, müssen Sie einige Schritte ausführen:
Testen Sie den Detektor mindestens einmal im Monat.
Lackieren Sie den Detektor nicht. Farbe verschließt die Lüftungsöffnungen und beeinträchtigt die
Fähigkeit des Sensors, CO zu erkennen.
Versuchen Sie niemals, den Detektor zu zerlegen, um das Innere zu reinigen. Dadurch wird der
Detektor beschädigt und möglicherweise unbrauchbar.
Reinigen Sie den Detektor mindestens einmal im Monat, um Staub, Schmutz oder Ablagerungen
zu entfernen. Verwenden Sie einen Staubsauger mit einer weichen Bürste und saugen Sie alle
Seiten und Abdeckungen des Detektors ab.
Einige Materialien, Dämpfe oder Gase, können die Zuverlässigkeit der Alarme kurz- oder langfristig
beeinträchtigen. Ethylen, Ethanol, Alkohol, Isopropanol, Benzol, Toluol, Ethylacetat, Wasserstoff,
Schwefelwasserstoff und Schwefeldioxid sind Substanzen, die in hohen Konzentrationen den
Sensor beschädigen oder vorübergehende Messwerte verursachen können, die keine CO-
Messwerte sind. Außerdem die meisten Aerosolsprays, Produkte auf Alkoholbasis, Farben,
Verdünner, Lösungsmittel, Klebstoffe, Haarspray, Aftershave, Parfüm, automatische Absaugung
(Kaltstart) und einige Reinigungsmittel.
Bestimmen Sie den richtigen Montageort: Melder sollten in einem Raum mit einem
Verbrennungsgerät (mögliche CO-Quelle) installiert werden.
In einem horizontalen Abstand zwischen 1 und 3 Metern von der CO-Quelle.
ODER: Stellen Sie in Räumen ohne Verbrennungsanlage den Melder auf Atemhöhe auf.
Zentrale Lage im Raum, mindestens 30 Zentimeter von Wänden entfernt.
Vermeiden Sie vorhandene Luftein- oder -auslässe und andere Gegenstände an der Decke.
Vermeiden Sie Orte hinter Gegenständen wie Vorhängen und Schränken.
Montageanleitung: Befestigen Sie den Melder mit Klebepads oder Schrauben oder platzieren Sie den
Melder an der gewünschten Stelle, ohne ihn dauerhaft zu montieren.

Während der angegebenen Garantiezeit von 2 Jahren nach dem Kauf reparieren oder ersetzen wir
jeden zurückgegebenen defekten Melder. Diese Garantie gilt nicht für den Detektor, wenn er nach
dem Kaufdatum beschädigt, modifiziert, vernachlässigt, missbraucht oder verändert wurde oder
wenn er aufgrund unsachgemäßer Wartung nicht funktioniert, und das Gerät wird nicht ersetzt oder

I. Fehlerbehebung

des Detektors ab. Wenn das Problem weiterhin besteht, liegt eine Fehlfunktion des Detektors vor.
Kontaktieren Sie uns unter [e-mail], um es auszutauschen, wenn die Garantie
noch besteht.
Der Melder piept alle 30 Sekunden und die orangefarbene LED blinkt: Der Melder funktioniert

Pourquoi la valeur est-elle de 0 ppm? La valeur par défaut est de 0 ppm, car la concentration
naturelle de monoxyde de carbone (CO) dans l'air est d'environ 0,2 ppm, arrondie à 0 ppm. L'écran
affiche toujours la valeur en temps réel de la quantité de CO, mais dans une situation «normale»,

B. Testez votre alarme
Testez le détecteur pour garantir son bon fonctionnement en appuyant sur le bouton de test.
L'alarme retentira si le détecteur fonctionne bien. S'il n'y a pas de son, reportez-vous à la section
«Dépannage».

NE testez PAS votre détecteur à l’aide d’une flamme nue. Cela
pourrait endommager le détecteur ou enflammer des
matériaux combustibles et déclencher un incendie de structure.
NE vous tenez PAS à proximité du détecteur lorsque l’alarme
retentit. L'exposition à courte distance peut être nocive pour vos
oreilles.
Testez le détecteur au moins une fois par mois.

Les détecteurs de CO ne sont pas des détecteurs de fumée. Ce détecteur de CO ne remplace pas
l'installation et l'entretien d'un nombre approprié de détecteurs de fumée dans votre maison.

N’IGNOREZ JAMAIS AUCUNE ALARME, le monoxyde de carbone peut être mortel.
ATTENTION
E. Mode silence
Le mode silence ne doit être utilisé que si la source de l’alarme est connue et sûre. Appuyez sur le
bouton test pour définir le mode silence. En mode silence, le voyant LED rouge clignote une fois
toutes les 8 secondes. Le détecteur est automatiquement réinitialisé après 10 minutes.
Avant d'utiliser le mode silence, identifiez la source et assurez-vous qu'une
condition de sécurité existe.
ATTENTION
Si un signal d'alarme retentit, déplacez-vous immédiatement à l'air frais et ne rentrez pas dans les
locaux tant qu'ils n'ont pas été aérés et que votre alarme n'est pas revenue à son état normal.
Recherchez la source du dégagement de CO et réparez le défaut.

Étape 5: Cliquez sur le «+» dans le coin supérieur droit de l’écran
d’accueil de l’application. Choisissez ensuite «Ajouter un
appareil», comme vous le voyez sur la figure 1. L'application
recherchera désormais automatiquement les appareils en mode
couplage. Suivez les étapes décrites dans l'application.
Si l'application elle-même n'est pas encore autorisée à utiliser
Bluetooth, cliquez sur la notification et suivez les étapes pour
autoriser l'application à accéder à Bluetooth, comme vous le
voyez dans la figure 2.
Foire aux questions
Alarme: Si une alarme retentit lorsque vous essayez d'activer le
mode appairage, un test est activé car vous n'avez pas appuyé
assez vite. Une fois l'alarme arrêtée, essayez d'appuyer à
nouveau sur le bouton de test 4 fois aussi rapidement que
possible en 1 seconde.
Étape 4: Activez le mode d'appairage en appuyant 4 fois sur le bouton test en 1 seconde. Si cela est
fait correctement, le voyant LED rouge clignotera rapidement. Après quelques secondes, la LED verte
clignotera rapidement pendant 1 minute. Dans cette minute, vous pouvez lier le détecteur à votre
application.
Batterie faible: Lors de la
première connexion du
détecteur, l'application
peut signaler à tort que la
batterie est presque vide.
Déconnectez le détecteur
puis reconnectez-le. Si la
notification est à nouveau
émise par l'application,
veuillez nous contacter. 18

Emplacement central dans la pièce, à au moins 30 centimètres des murs.
Évitez les entrées ou sorties d’air existantes et autres objets au plafond.
Évitez les emplacements derrière des objets tels que des rideaux et des placards.
Instructions de montage: Utilisez des tampons adhésifs ou des vis pour monter le détecteur, ou
placez le détecteur à l'emplacement souhaité sans le monter de manière permanente.
H. Entretien et nettoyage
Vous devez suivre quelques étapes pour qu'il continue de fonctionner correctement:
Testez le détecteur au moins une fois par mois.
Ne peignez pas le détecteur. La peinture scellera les évents et interférera avec la capacité du
capteur à détecter le CO.
N'essayez jamais de démonter le détecteur pour nettoyer l'intérieur. Cela endommagerait le
détecteur et le rendrait éventuellement inutilisable.
Nettoyez le détecteur au moins une fois par mois pour éliminer la poussière, la saleté ou les
débris. Utilisez un aspirateur avec une brosse douce et aspirez tous les côtés et couvercles du
détecteur.
Certains matériaux, vapeurs ou gaz, peuvent affecter la fiabilité des alarmes à court ou à long
terme. L'éthylène, l'éthanol, l'alcool, l'isopropanol, le benzène, le toluène, l'acétate d'éthyle,
l'hydrogène, le sulfure d'hydrogène et le dioxyde de soufre sont des substances qui, à des niveaux
élevés, peuvent endommager le capteur ou provoquer des lectures temporaires qui ne sont pas
des lectures de CO. Également la plupart des aérosols, produits à base d'alcool, peinture, diluant,
solvant, adhésif, laque pour cheveux, après-rasage, parfum, échappement automatique
(démarrage à froid) et certains produits de nettoyage.
Déterminez l'emplacement de montage correct: Les détecteurs doivent être installés dans une
pièce avec un appareil à combustion (source possible de CO).
À une distance horizontale comprise entre 1 et 3 mètres de la source de CO.
OU, dans les pièces sans appareil à combustion, placez le détecteur à hauteur de respiration.
