Clean only with a dry cloth, unplug this product from the wall outlet before cleaning.
Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. To ensure
reliable operation of the product and to protect it from overheating, put the product in a position and location
that will not interfere with its proper ventilation. For example, do not place the product on openings. Do not
put it in a built-in system, such as a bookcase or a cabinet that may keep air from flowing through its
ventilation openings.
Do not install near any heat sources, such as radiators, heat registers, stoves or other units (including

I. The main characteristics
Congratulations on your choice of the i-Ballroom speaker system from ASTONE. Designed specifically
to work with your iPod, this system provides high-quality audio performance that invites your music to
come out and play.
Unpacking the system
Check the carton for all of the parts shown in the below figure. Save the carton for possible future use. Be sure to
repack the system in its shipping carton to transport it outside your residence.

Place the system on a firm and level surface. Its speaker drivers are shielded, which diminishes the possibility of
video interference if it is placed near a computer or video screen.
Three audio input modes, including iPod, FM, AUX which could be switched freely, can follow your inclinations.
Features a credit card-sized remote for command of the system volume and basic iPod functions from almost
anywhere in the room.
S-VIDEO terminal output allows you to view and admire the high clarity
picture as you enjoy the high quality sound (need iPod support).
Particular time and alarm functions.
Control your iPod fully, and recharge the battery of your iPod while it is docked in the system.

LCD display: display the machine’s operation state
Alarm clock switch: under AUX or iPod mode, when this key is pressed, the display will display “A” which means
turn on alarm clock; when this key is pressed again, “A” will clear away which means turn off the alarm clock
Signal source select: switch iPod or FM or AUX audio input
Standby key: under iPod mode, pressing this key instantaneous to switch the pause and play; under machine
working state, pressing this key for long time to enter the standby state; pressing any key to operate the
machine

Connect with the power supply, and open the power switch to relieve the standby state, then the
machine is in working state. (could achieve this function on the control panel of machine)
1. Control the audio source
Please choose one of three modes on the remote control according to your input signal source mode:
A. iPod input
B. FM input
C. AUX audio input
: standby or play control key, control the whole product’s power
: mute key
: turn down the tweeter volume
: turn up the tweeter volume
STEP/AUTO: choice the broadcasting station by hand or automatic
ST/MONO: choice stereo or single track under FM mode

2. Control the clock
Under the AUX or iPod mode, press “CLOCK” key to enter the clock set-up status, the default clock display is 00:00
(hour : minute): Press “CLOCK” key the first time and the front two numbers will blink, then you can adjust the hour by pressing
the ; Press “CLOCK” key a second time and the back two numbers will blink, then you can adjust the minute by pressing the
key. Lastly, press “CLOCK” key to confirm the clock setting. (It can display the time normally when power supply is
continuous, and needs to be set up again after power off.)
3. Control the alarm time
Under the AUX or iPod mode, press ALARM key to enter the alarm set-up status, the default alarm display is R, which means the
alarm time function is open. Press ALARM key a first time and the front two numbers will blink then you can adjust the hour by
pressing the ; press ALARM key a second time and the back two numbers will blink, then you can adjust the minute by
pressing ; at last, press ALARM key to confirm the alarm setting. (The alarm will go off every day when power supply is
continuous; and needs to be reset again after power off.)
4. Control the video
Under iPod mode, adjust the iPod video setting to TV-OUT status, and connect the S-VIDEO connector to TV’s or any other video
unit which has an S-VIDEO connector, then set up the TV or relevant video unit on S-VIDEO input status, at this time, the TV or
video unit will play the iPod’s video content. (Please refer the iPod manual.)
When iPod docks in the system, the control keys of iPod still could be used, but the volume adjust wheel will
not adjust the i-Ballroom volume.

Under the radio receiving status, press STEP/AUTO key to toggle the radio
station selctor between manual and automatic

in frequency step by step; under Auto mode, choose go back or go forward in frequency automatically
Press ST/MONO key, to switch between the stereo and the single track
Press TREBLE key, turn up or turn down the tweeter volume

Connect the FM antenna to antenna connector, and press the FM key to enter the FM mode.

Maintaining the system
Changing the remote control battery is the only regular maintenance that is required. You may also clean the
system as needed.
To replace the remote control battery
Replace the remote control battery when it stops operating (normally every year or two), or its range seems
reduced. Use only a Duracell, Eveready, Energizer, Maxell, Toshiba, or Shun Wo CR2032 3-volt lithium battery.
Keep in mind that lighting and other room conditions, in addition to battery age, can affect the operating range
of an infrared remote control.
To clean the system
Wipe the system using a soft dry cloth. You can also lightly vacuum the grille.
• Do not use solvents, chemicals, or sprays.
• Do not allow liquids to spill or objects to drop into any openings.

Make sure the power cable is securely plugged into a functioning outlet and with
the DC plug plugged firmly into the DC input jack.
Make sure your iPod is firmly seated in the dock.

to the i-Ballroom remote

Remove your iPod from the dock, wait briefly, then reseat it. You may need to do
this a few times.
Try the remote from a different location. If it works there, strong lighting or other
room conditions may be causing the problem.
Make sure nothing blocks the infrared (IR) signal path from the remote to your
i-Ballroom system. wipe off the small red lens on the front send of the remote.
Check the remote control battery to make sure the + side is up.
Replace the remote control battery.

Check the antenna to make sure it has already been plugged into the matched

Check the system to make sure the FM function has been turned on.

Déballer le système

Placez le système sur une surface stable et de niveau. Les conducteurs des haut-parleurs sont blindés, ce qui

3. Touches de fonctions du produit et comment se brancher
Connecteur USB: branchez à l’ordinateur et transférez les données entre l’i-Pod et le PC.
Entrée AUX: Entrée audio AUX, peut être branchée sur PC, TV, DVD, CD, MP3, PSP, téléphone portable
et source audio etc…
Sortie terminal S: permet au signal vidéo de l’i-Pod sortir sur le TV ou d’autres appareils vidéo qui possèdent
un connecteur S-VIDEO pour lire le contenu vidéo (support iPod nécessaire).

III. Instructions pour le fonctionnement de la télécommande
Branchez sur l’alimentation secteur et allumez l’alimentation pour annuler le mode standby et pour que
l’appareil soit en marche (vous pouvez effectuer cette manipulation sur le panneau de contrôle de
l’appareil).
1. Contrôler la source audio
Veuillez choisir l’un des trois modes sur la télécommande selon votre de mode d’entrée de signal :
A. Entrée iPod C. Entrée AUX audioB. Entrée FM

Interrupteur alarme: en mode AUX ou iPod, quand vous appuyez sur cette touche, l’affichage affichera ‘A’ qui
signifie que l’alarme est allumée, si vous rappuyez sur la même touche, le ‘A’ disparaîtra ce qui signifie que
l’alarme sera éteinte
Sélection du signal source: passer à l’entrée audio iPod ou FM ou AUX
Touche Standby: en mode iPod, appuyez sur cette touche rapidement pour passer du mode pause à la lecture.
En mode de fonctionnement de l’appareil, appuyez sur cette touche longuement pour entrer en mode Standby.
Appuyez sur n’importe quelle touche pour faire fonctionner l’appareil
Récepteur de la télécommande: reçoit le signal de la télécommande

Entretien du système
Changer les piles de la télécommande est le seul entretien nécessaire. Vous pouvez également nettoyer le système
si nécessaire.
Pour remplacer les piles de la télécommande
Remplacez les piles de la télécommande quand elle ne fonctionne plus correctement (habituellement tous les 2 ans)
ou si ça portée semble diminuer. Utilisez uniquement des piles en lithium de 3 V Duracell, Eveready, Energizer,
Maxell, Toshiba ou Shun Wo CR2032 3. Gardez à l’esprit que la lumière ou les conditions ambiantes de la pièce,
ainsi que longévité des piles peut affecter la portée de fonctionnement de la télécommande à infra rouge.
Pour nettoyer le système
Passez un chiffon doux et sec. Vous pouvez également aspirer la grille.
• N’utilisez pas de solvants, de substances chimiques ou de vaporisateur.
• Ne laissez pas de liquides ou d’objets entrer dans les ouvertures.

2. Contrôler l’horloge
En mode AUX ou iPod, appuyez sur la touche ALARM pour entrer dans le mode de réglage de l’horloge. L’affichage de l’horloge
par défaut est 00 :00 (heure :minute). Appuyez sur la touche ALARM une première fois et les deux premiers chiffres clignoteront,
puis vous pouvez ensuite régler l’heure en appuyant sur les touches Appuyez sur la touche ALARM une deuxième fois et les
deux derniers chiffres clignoteront, puis vous pouvez ensuite régler les minutes en appuyant sur les touches Enfin, appuyez
sur la touche ALARM pour confirmer le réglage de l’horloge. (l’affichage de l’heure se fera quand l’appareil est sous tension,
mais s’il est mis hors tension, vous devrez régler l’heure à nouveau).
3. Contrôler l’heure de l’alarme
En mode AUX ou iPod, appuyez sur la touche ALARM pour entrer dans le mode de réglage de l’alarme. L’affichage de l’alarme
par défaut est R, ce qui signifie que la fonction de l’alarme est ouverte. Appuyez sur la touche ALARM une première fois et les
deux premiers chiffres clignoteront, puis vous pouvez ensuite régler l’heure en appuyant sur les touches . Appuyez sur la
touche ALARM une deuxième fois et les deux derniers chiffres clignoteront, puis vous pouvez ensuite régler les minutes en
appuyant sur les touches Enfin, appuyez sur la touche ALARM pour confirmer le réglage de l’alarme. (l’alarme s’éteindra
tous les jours si l’appareil est sous tension, mais elle devra être réglé à nouveau si l’appareil est mis hors tension).
4. Contrôler la vidéo
En mode iPod, réglez le réglage de la vidéo de l’iPod sur l’état SORTIE-TV et branchez le connecteur S-VIDEO sur celui du TV ou
d’une autre unité vidéo qui possède un connecteur S-VIDEO. Puis réglez le TV ou l’unité concernée sur l’entrée S-VIDEO, à ce
moment-là le TV ou l’unité Vidéo lira le contenu de l’iPod (veuillez vous référer au manuel de l’iPod).
Quand l’iPod est se trouve sur la station d’accueil, les touches de contrôle de l’iPod peuvent toujours êtres
utilisées mais la molette du réglage du volume n’activera pas le volume de l’iBallroom.

STEP, pour choisir d’aller en avant dans la station ou en arrière étape par étape. En mode AUTO, choisissez
d’aller en avant dans la station ou en arrière automatiquement
Appuyez sur la touche ST/MONO pour basculer entre le mode Stéréo et piste seule
Appuyez sur la touche TREBLE pour augmenter ou baisser le volume tweeter
Appuyez sur la touche , l’appareil se mettra sur silencieux
Branchez l’antenne FM sur le connecteur de l’antenne et appuyez sur la touche FM pour entrer dans le mode FM.

Stellen Sie das Gerät nicht auf Heizkörpern oder in unmittelbarer Nähe von wärmeerzeugenden Geräten
(einschließlich Verstärkern) auf.
Netzkabel sollten so verlegt werden, dass nicht auf sie getreten wird sie auch nicht eingeklemmt werden.

2. Einstellen der Uhrzeit
Drücken Sie CLOCK in AUX oder iPod Modus zum Aufrufen der Uhrzeiteinstellung, Defaultanzeige ist 00:00 (Stunden:Minuten).
Nach dem ersten Tastendruck blinken die ersten beiden Ziffern, die Stunden können nun mit oder eingestellt werden. Mit
erneutem Tastendruck auf CLOCK blinken die hinteren beiden Ziffern, nun können die Minuten mit und eingestellt werden.
Mit einem weiteren Tastendruck auf CLOCK wird die eingestellt Uhrzeit bestätigt. Nach einer Unterbrechung der Stromversorgung
muss die Uhrzeit neu eingestellt werden.
3. Einstellen der Alarmzeit
Drücken Sie ALARM in AUX oder iPod Modus zum Aufrufen der Alarmeinstellung, Defaultanzeige ist R. Nach dem ersten
Tastendruck blinken die ersten beiden Ziffern, die Stunden können nun mit oder eingestellt werden. Mit erneutem Tastendruck
auf ALARM blinken die hinteren beiden Ziffern, nun können die Minuten mit und eingestellt werden. Mit einem weiteren
Tastendruck auf ALARM wird die eingestellt Alarmzeit bestätigt. Nach einer Unterbrechung der Stromversorgung muss die
Alarmzeit neu eingestellt werden, anderenfalls erfolgt der Alarm täglich.
4. Videoeinstellung
In iPod Modus stellen Sie den Videoausgang ein und schließen das Gerät mit dem S-Videokabel am Fernseher oder sonstigen
Videogerät an. Danach stellen Sie Fernseher oder sonstiges Gerät auf S-Video Eingang ein. Nun können Sie die Videoinhalte
des iPod über den Fernseher wiedergeben (bitte sehen Sie Einzelheiten in der iPod Bedienungsanleitung nach).
Beim Andocken des iPod an das System können seine Funktionstasten weiterhin benutzt werden, nur mit der
Lautstärke kann nicht die Systemlautstärke geregelt werden.

Lithium-Batterien. Bitte denken Sie daran, dass die Beleuchtung oder sonstige Konditionen im Raum, zusätzlich
zum Alter der Batterie, die Reichweite beeinflussen können.
Reinigung
Wischen Sie das System nur mit einem trockenen und weichen Tuch ab, vorsichtiges Absaugen des Grills ist

Nehmen Sie Ihren iPod mehrfach aus der Dockingstation und setzen ihn
wieder ein.
Versuchen Sie die Fernbedienung in verschiedenen Positionen. Möglicherweise
Licht- oder sonstige Umwelteinflüsse im Raum.
Vergewissern Sie sich, dass sich keine Hindernisse zwischen der Fernbedienung
und dem Sensor im Gerät befinden, reinigen Sie die kleine rote Linse vorn auf der
Fernbedienung.
Überprüfen Sie, ob die Batterie erschöpft oder falsch herum eingesetzt ist.
Tauschen Sie die Batterie der Fernbedienung aus.

Características del i-Ballroom
I. Características principales
Enhorabuena por haber adquirido el sistema de altavoces i-Ballroom de ASTONE. Diseñado
especialmente para funcionar conjuntamente con su iPod, este sistema ofrece un sonido de alta
calidad que invita a su música a salir y sonar.
Desempaquetado del sistema
Compruebe en el interior del paquete de cartón que se encuentran todas las partes mostradas en la figura
inferior. Guarde la caja para posibles futuras utilidades. Asegúrese que utiliza la misma caja de cartón para
transportar este aparato fuera de su residencia.

Sitúe este aparato sobre una superficie plana y nivelada. Los altavoces están protegidos de tal forma que
disminuye la posibilidad de interferencias si se deposita cerca de un ordenador o pantalla de video.
Los modos de entrada del audio, incluyen el iPod, FM, AUX, pueden conectarse libremente siguiendo sus
indicaciones.
Incluye un mando de control remoto del tamaño de una tarjeta de crédito, que puede accionar el
sistema de volumen desde prácticamente cualquier lugar de la habitación.
La salida de S-VIDEO, le permite visionar y admirar imágenes en alta
calidad mientras disfruta de la alta calidad del sonido. (Se precisa soporte iPod)

al descubierto. No coloque el aparato en estructuras empotradas tales como estanterías o armarios que podrían
dificultar el flujo de aire a través de las aperturas de ventilación.

amplificadores) que desprendan calor.

registro y en la zona de salida de la unidad.
