9. Outdoor Antenna Grounding

Charging the Battery
This portable tevelvision has a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery. The battery can be charged by either the
AC 100-240V to DC 12V Power Adapter or the 12V Auto / Boat Adapter.
Before using the television it is recommended to completely charge the battery by following the steps below.
Home Electrical Outlet Use:
1. Plug the supplied AC 100-240V to DC 12V Power Adapter Jack into the 12V DC Input (10).
2. Insert the wall plug of the Power Adapter into an electrical wall outlet.
3. The Power Indicator LED (7) will turn ON during charging.
4. Once the battery is fully charged the Power Indicator LED (7) will turn OFF.
Auto-Boat Outlet Use:
1. Plug the supplied 12V Auto-Boat Power Adapter Jack into the 12V DC Input (10).
2. Insert the car-boat outlet plug of the Power Adapter into a 12V car-boat outlet.
3. The Power Indicator LED (7) will turn ON during charging.
4. Once the battery is fully charged the Power Indicator LED (7) will turn OFF.
NOTE: A “LOW BATTERY!” message will flash on the TV screen when the battery needs to be charged.

NOTE: For the TV to Charge using the Auto / Boat Adapter / Charger, the TV must be turned OFF.

Installing the Base

INSTALLING THE PEDESTAL BASE
1. Loosen the square washer on the front of the base by turning the washer counterclockwise.
NOTE: Do not remove the washer from the base.
2. Carefully slide the square washer into the channel on the rear of the TV.
3. Secure the base to the TV by turning the tension knob on the rear of the base clockwise.
INSTALLING THE KICKSTAND BASE
1. Locate the arrow on the rear of the Kickstand Base.
2. Keeping the arrow pointed UP, carefully slide the Kickstand Base into the channel on the rear of the TV.

NOTE: the Setup Wizard only appears when turnng on the TV for the first time.
How to Navigate the Setup Menus:
Use the pq arrow buttons on the remote to move to the menu selection.
After connecting the Antenna, turn the television ON using the ON / OFF SWITCH (11).
The quick Setup Wizard will display on-screen to help guide you through the 3 steps listed below:
STEP 1: Choosing a Menu Language
Use the tuarrow buttons on the remote to choose the desired menu option.
Use the pq arrow buttons to select Menu Language.
Use the tuarrow buttons to select English - Francais - Espanol.
Use the qarrow button to select Go to next step and press the
ENTER button to complete the step.
STEP 2: Setting the Time
Use the pq arrow buttons to select Time Zone, Daylight Saving

TV Setup Initial Setup Wizard
STEP 3: Setting Air/Cable and Channel Auto Scan
Use the tuarrow buttons to select Air or Cable based on your
type of connection (Antenna or Cable without a set top box).
For Antenna & Cable Connections WITHOUT a set top box:
Use the qarrow button to select Go to next step and press the
ENTER button to begin the Channel Auto Scan.
Note: Your type of television connection will determine if you should complete the
Channel Auto Scan part of this step.
Channel Auto Scan may take several minutes to complete.
For Cable/Satellite Connections WITH a set top box:
Press the EXIT button on the remote control to exit the Setup
Wizard.
NOTE: You will see the message “PLEASE RUN AUTO SCAN”
on the screen. Ignore this message as this is not necessary
when using a set top box.
Press the SOURCE button on the remote control to display the
Input Source screen illustrated to the left.
Use the pq arrow buttons to highlight the input where the
set top box was installed. Press ENTER to select the desired
input.
Once Channel Auto Scan has ended, Initial Setup is
complete. You may now begin enjoying your TV, or
make further adjustments to the TV settings which are
explained in the following pages of this manual.

Menu Adjustments Picture Setting
The Picture menu offers options to enhance and refine the picture displayed on your TV based on ambient room light
and personal preferences. Adjustment options include Picture Mode, Color Mode, Zoom, Noise Reduction & DLC.
How to Navigate:
Press the MENU button on the remote control. Navigate using the pqarrow buttons to select PICTURE. Press the
environments. Depending on the ambient light level in the room, you may find one of the other Picture settings more
pleasing.
To make more critical adjustments based on your own preferences select the Personal mode.

Menu Adjustments Audio Settings
The Audio menu offers options to make sound enhancements while listening through the built-in speakers or to
headphones connected to the headphone jack.
How to Navigate:

button to highlight Sound Mode, then press the uarrow button to select your sound preference from 5 factory options:

The Time menu includes adjustment of settings for your local time zone and daylight savings time. The clock will adjust
automatically after the initial Channel Auto Scan of available broadcast channels in your area.
How to Navigate:
Press the MENU button on the remote control. Navigate using arrow pqbuttons to select Time.

TV Ratings and press ENTER to select your preference.
• Highlight MPAA, then press the uarrow button to enter the
MPAA menu. Press the parrow button repeatedly until you
reach the maximum allowed rating.

Channel Settings
The Channel menu provides the setup / changes to your television provider to receive broadcast channels, store
your favorite channels, and the option to show / hide channels in memory.
How to Navigate:
Press the MENU button on the remote control. Navigate using arrow pqbuttons to select Channel

Press the uarrow button to choose AIR or CABLE based on
your TV provider.
Press the uarrow button to enter the Favorites List Menu.
Navigate using the pq arrow buttons to highlight your favorite
channels. Press ENTER on a highlighted channel to mark or
unmark that channel as a Favorite. A heart symbol will appear
next to all channels marked as Favorites.
NOTE: to access your Favorites simply press the FAVORITE

Press the uarrow button to enter the Show / Hide Menu.
Navigate using the pq arrow buttons to highlight channels
you wish to add or remove from the list of available channels.
Press ENTER on a highlighted channel to Show or Hide the
highlighted channel. Channels marked with a Wwill be removed
from the list of available channels.
