Inserting a microSD card
TheActionCameradoesnothaveanyinternalmemory.AmicroSDcard(notincluded)mustbeinserted
fortheActionCameratorecordfootageandcaptureimages
1. WhiletheActionCameraiso,insertamicroSDcardintotheportonthesideoftheActionCamera
untilyouhearasmallclick.WhenfullyinsertedintotheActionCamera,youwillfeelasmallclick.

2. ToremovethemicroSDcard,turnothecamerathenpushthecardinslightlyuntilyouhearaclick,
thecardwillthenpopoutfromtheActionCameraforremoval
NOTE:
• Ensure that the microSD card you have inserted has a maximum capacity no more than 128GB and is
at least Class 10
• CAUTION: If you are installing a previously used memory card into the camera, make sure to back up
any data stored on the card, to avoid possible data loss

Waterproof housing
Thecameracomessuppliedwithatransparentwaterproofhousing,whichallowsyoutotakevideo
footageorphotosinwetconditionsorunderwateratadepthofupto30meters.
1. Tousethecamerawiththewaterproofhousing,observethefollowing:
2. Placethecamerainthewaterproofhousingandcloseitcarefullyusingthelockingcliplocatedat
thetopofthecase.Makesurethelatchlockkeyissecurelyinplace
3. Oncethecameraissecurelyinstalled,youcanusetheON/OFFandShutterbuttonsbypushingthe
buttonslocatedontopofthewaterproofhousing
WARNING: Once the camera is secured in the case, make sure that all seals are in place to prevent
water intrusion.
Before using the camera in wet conditions
1. Beforesealingthecase,ensuretherubbersealofthecamerahousingisclean—evenasinglehair
orgrainofsandcancausealeak.Youcantestwatertightnessbyclosingthecasewithoutinserting
thecamera
2. Submergetheemptycasecompletelyinwaterforaboutaminute.Removethecasefromthewater,
dryoitsexteriorwithatowel,thenopenthecase.Iftheentireinteriorisdry,thecaseissafefor
useunderwater
3. Afterusingthecamerainsaltwater,rinsetheoutsideofthehousingwithnon-saltwateranddry.If
notproperlycleaned,corrosioncanoccuronthehingeandthepin,whichcancausefailure.
WARNING: Do not use aggressive substances such as acetone to clean the case, as these can cause
permanent damage
4. Tocleantheseal,rinseinfreshwaterandshakedry(dryingwithaclothmaycauselintto
compromisetheseal).Re-installthesealintothegroovesinthebackdoorofthehousing

• When connecting to camera for the rst time, you will need to enter the password as displayed on the
Action Camera. E.g. ‘1234567890’. Once connected, you can preview the images sent by the Action
Camera onto your phone or tablet and record video/photos directly onto your phone
• In ‘options mode’ you will be able to congure the camera presets before recording
