Warnings
This appliance is meant to be used by adults. It can be used by
children aged from 8 years and above, if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a
safe way and if they understand the hazards involved. Clean-
ing and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless
they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and
its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years.
The appliance can also be used by persons with reduced physi-
cal, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved.
This appliance is not intended for commercial use but rather
for use in homes, hotel rooms, etc.
Safety Information
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions
should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric
shock, and/or injury to persons, including the following:
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handle or knobs.
• To protect against electric shock, do not place cord, plug or
appliance in water or other liquids.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by
or near children.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
• Allow to cool before putting on or taking offparts and be-
fore cleaning the appliance.

• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug
or after the appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in
any manner. Return the appliance to the nearest authorized
service facility for examination, repair, or adjustment.
• The use of an accessory not evaluated for use with this ap-
pliance may cause injuries.
• Do not use outdoors.
• Do not let cord hang over the edge of table or counter, or
touch with hot surfaces.
• Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a
heated oven.
• Do not use this appliance for other than intended use.
• Keep the lid on the mug when in use.
• Scalding may occur if the lid is removed during the brewing
cycles.
• To disconnect, remove plug from wall outlet
Instructions
A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of
becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. Exten-
sion cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in
their use, if one is used:
• The marked electrical rating of the extension cord must be
at least as great as that of appliance ;
• This appliance has been incorporated with a grounded plug
type, the extension cord must be a grounding type3-wire
cord;
• The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape
over a countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by
children or tripped over.

Parts
Coffee filter: This coffee maker comes with a reusable mesh
filter.
Before the first use
Clean the reusable mesh filter, and filter basket in warm,
soapy water; rinse thoroughly.
Brew one glass of water according to the brewing coffee sec-
tion but do not add any coffee.

Brewing Coffee
1. Lift the water reservoir lid and fill the water reservoir with
about 1500 ml of water.
2. Put 8-10 tablespoons of finely ground coffee into the re-
usable mesh filter for a full glass of coffee. NOTE: Regular
ground coffee would require more coffee per cup to
achieve the strength of finer ground coffee.
3. Gently shake the mesh filter to distribute the coffee even-
ly.
4. Place the mesh filter into the filter basket and place filter
basket into the brewing chamber (see the figure in Parts)
5. Close the top lid.
6. Place the glass container onto the base.
7. Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.
8. Press the switch. The indicator will glow red and the appli-
ance will begin working. When all the water in water tank
is used up, the appliance will turn off. Once it finishes
brewing, the light will turn off.
9. The brewing process can be interrupted by pressing the
switch button at any time; the light will turn off. The appli-
ance will continue brewing once the switch is pressed
again. NOTE: You can take out the glass carafe, pour and
serve at any time. The appliance will stop dripping auto-
matically.
10. Remove the glass carafe to serve when the machine is fin-
ished brewing (about one minute after the coffee stops
dripping out). NOTE: the amount of coffee you get will be
less than the water you added, as some water is absorbed
by the ground coffee.
11. Always turn the coffee maker offand disconnect the pow-
er supply when not use. CAUTION: The coffee will be hot
so handle the glass carafe with care to avoid getting hurt.

Brewing a second glass of Coffee
To brew another glass of coffee, allow the Coffee Maker to
cool completely (about three minutes) after the light has
turned off. Rinse the glass carafe and the Reusable Mesh Filter
with water. Repeat the brewing procedure.
Tips for great coffee
• Always use fresh, cold water.
• For stronger or milder coffee, increase or decrease the
amount of ground coffee to your liking.
• Finer ground coffee enables the full extraction of flavor for
a rich, full-bodied coffee.
• Store unused ground coffee in a cool, dry place. After open-
ing a package of ground coffee, tightly reseal it and store it
in the refrigerator to maintain its freshness.
• For optimal coffee taste, buy whole coffee beans and finely
grind them just before brewing.
• Do not reuse the ground coffee; this greatly reduces the cof-
fee's flavor.
• Reheating coffee is not recommended as coffee is at its
peak flavor immediately after brewing.
• A clean Coffee Maker is essential for making great-tasting
coffee. Clean regularly as specified in the "Care and Mainte-
nance" section.
• Prevent an oil buildup: A small amount of oil on the surface
of brewed coffee is due to the release of oil from roasted
coffee beans. Heavily-roasted coffee beans release more oil
than others. Regularly cleaning your Coffee Maker will pre-
vent oil buildup.

Care and Maintenance
WARNING: Always unplug the Power Cord from the electrical
outlet and allow the product to cool completely before clean-
ing or storing.
• The Filter Basket may be placed on the upper rack of a dish-
washer for cleaning or hand washed in warm, soapy water.
The Reusable Mesh Filter must be washed by hand. NOTE:
When washed in a dishwasher, the color of the parts may
appear to fade. Restore by polishing them with a soft, dry
cloth.
• Wipe the exterior surface of the Coffee Maker with a soft,
damp cloth. Do not use metal scouring pads or abrasive
cleaners.
Limescale removal
To keep your Coffeemaker operating efficiently, remove min-
eral deposits left by water. At least once a month, use a water
and vinegar household cleaning solution as described below to
prevent the buildup of mineral deposits. If the water in your
area is especially high in minerals, do this every two weeks.
1. Fill the Glass with 1 part white vinegar and 3 parts cold wa-
ter.
2. Pour the water and vinegar mixture into the Water Reser-
voir.
3. Place the Glass Carafe without the lid onto the Base.
4. Press the Start Button; the Indicator Light will illuminate.
NOTE: During cleaning, more steam is produced than when
brewing coffee.
5. When the water-vinegar solution stops dripping into the
Glass Carafe, allow the Coffee Maker to cool for three
minutes. Remove, rinse, and replace the Mesh Filter and
pour the water-vinegar mixture into the Water Reservoir
again.

6. Press the Start Button. Allow all of the cleaning solution to
drip into the Glass.
7. Discard the cleaning solution.
8. Allow the Coffee Maker to cool for at least three minutes,
then remove, rinse, and replace the Filter Basket.
9. Rinse the Coffee Maker by brewing a Glass of cold water.
10. Allow the Coffee Maker to cool completely and clean it by
washing the Glass Carafe, the Filter Basket, and the Re-
usable Mesh Filter in soapy water; rinse and let dry.
Correct disposal of product
This product is classed as Electrical or Electron-
ic equipment and should not be disposed
alongside other household or commercial
waste. The Waste of Electrical and Electronic
Equipment (WEEE) Directive (2012/19/EU) has
been put in place to recycle products to min-
imise the impact on the environment, treat any
hazardous substances and avoid overfilling
landfills. Contact your local authorities for in-
formation on the correct disposal of Electrical
and Electronic equipment.

Προειδοποιήσεις
Αυτή ησυσκευή προορίζεται για χρήση από ενήλικες. Μπορεί

Οδηγίες
•Παρέχεται ένα κοντό καλώδιο παροχής ρεύματος για να
μειωθεί οκίνδυνος εμπλοκής ήσκοντάμματος σε ένα
μακρύτερο καλώδιο. Διατίθενται καλώδια προέκτασης και
μπορούν να χρησιμοποιηθούν, εφόσον επιδεικνύεται
προσοχή στη χρήση τους, εφόσον χρησιμοποιείται ένα
τέτοιο καλώδιο:

•Ηαναγραφόμενη ηλεκτρική ονομαστική ισχύς του καλωδίου

Φίλτρο καφέ: Αυτή ηκαφετιέρα συνοδεύεται από
επαναχρησιμοποιούμενο φίλτρο πλέγματος.
Πριν από την πρώτη χρήση
Καθαρίστε το επαναχρησιμοποιούμενο φίλτρο πλέγματος και
το καλάθι φίλτρου σε ζεστό σαπουνόνερο και ξεπλύνετε καλά.
Φτιάξτε ένα ποτήρι νερό σύμφωνα με την ενότητα για την
παρασκευή καφέ, αλλά μην προσθέσετε καφέ.
Παρασκευή καφέ
1. Σηκώστε το καπάκι του δοχείου νερού και γεμίστε το
δοχείο νερού με περίπου 1500 ml νερό.
2. Βάλτε 8-10 κουταλιές της σούπας ψιλοαλεσμένο καφέ στο
επαναχρησιμοποιούμενο δικτυωτό φίλτρο για ένα γεμάτο
ποτήρι καφέ. ΣΗΜΕΙΩΣΗ: Οκανονικός αλεσμένος καφές
θα απαιτούσε περισσότερο καφέ ανά φλιτζάνι για να
επιτευχθεί ηισχύς του λεπτότερα αλεσμένου καφέ.
3. Ανακινήστε απαλά το δικτυωτό φίλτρο για να διανείμετε
ομοιόμορφα τον καφέ.
4. Τοποθετήστε το δικτυωτό φίλτρο στο καλάθι φίλτρου και
τοποθετήστε το καλάθι φίλτρου στο θάλαμο παρασκευής
(βλ. εικόνα στα Μέρη)
5. Κλείστε το επάνω καπάκι.
6. Τοποθετήστε το γυάλινο δοχείο πάνω στη βάση.
7. Συνδέστε το καλώδιο τροφοδοσίας σε μια τυπική
ηλεκτρική πρίζα.
8. Πατήστε το διακόπτη. Ηένδειξη θα ανάψει με κόκκινο
χρώμα και ησυσκευή θα αρχίσει να λειτουργεί. Όταν
καταναλωθεί όλο το νερό στο δοχείο νερού, ησυσκευή θα
απενεργοποιηθεί. Μόλις ολοκληρώσει την παρασκευή
ζυμαρικών, ηλυχνία θα σβήσει.
9. Ηδιαδικασία παρασκευής μπορεί να διακοπεί πατώντας το
κουμπί του διακόπτη ανά πάσα στιγμή- ηλυχνία θα σβήσει.

Ησυσκευή θα συνεχίσει την παρασκευή μόλις πατηθεί
ξανά οδιακόπτης. ΣΗΜΕΙΩΣΗ: Μπορείτε να βγάλετε τη
γυάλινη καράφα, να χύσετε και να σερβίρετε ανά πάσα
στιγμή. Ησυσκευή θα σταματήσει να στάζει αυτόματα.
10. Αφαιρέστε τη γυάλινη καράφα για να σερβίρετε όταν η
μηχανή τελειώσει την παρασκευή καφέ (περίπου ένα λεπτό
αφού σταματήσει να στάζει οκαφές). ΣΗΜΕΙΩΣΗ: η
ποσότητα καφέ που θα πάρετε θα είναι μικρότερη από την
ποσότητα νερού που προσθέσατε, καθώς μέρος του νερού
απορροφάται από τον αλεσμένο καφέ.
11. Να απενεργοποιείτε πάντα την καφετιέρα και να
αποσυνδέετε την παροχή ρεύματος όταν δεν τη
χρησιμοποιείτε. ΠΡΟΣΟΧΗ: Οκαφές θα είναι καυτός, γι'
αυτό χειριστείτε τη γυάλινη καράφα με προσοχή για να
μην τραυματιστείτε.
12. Παρασκευή ενός δεύτερου ποτηριού καφέ
13. Για να παρασκευάσετε άλλο ένα ποτήρι καφέ, αφήστε την
καφετιέρα να κρυώσει εντελώς (περίπου τρία λεπτά) αφού
σβήσει ηλυχνία. Ξεπλύνετε τη γυάλινη καράφα και το
επαναχρησιμοποιούμενο φίλτρο πλέγματος με νερό.
Επαναλάβετε τη διαδικασία παρασκευής καφέ.
Συμβουλές για εξαιρετικό καφέ
•Χρησιμοποιείτε πάντα φρέσκο, κρύο νερό.
•Για πιο δυνατό ήπιο ήπιο καφέ, αυξήστε ήμειώστε την
ποσότητα του αλεσμένου καφέ ανάλογα με τις προτιμήσεις
σας.
•Ολεπτότερος αλεσμένος καφές επιτρέπει την πλήρη
εκχύλιση της γεύσης για έναν πλούσιο, γεμάτο καφέ.
•Αποθηκεύστε τον αλεσμένο καφέ που δεν έχετε
χρησιμοποιήσει σε δροσερό, ξηρό μέρος. Αφού ανοίξετε μια
συσκευασία αλεσμένου καφέ, ξανακλείστε την καλά και
αποθηκεύστε την στο ψυγείο για να διατηρηθεί ηφρεσκάδα
της.

•Για βέλτιστη γεύση καφέ, αγοράστε ολόκληρους κόκκους
καφέ και αλέστε τους λεπτότατα λίγο πριν από την
παρασκευή καφέ.
•Μην επαναχρησιμοποιείτε τον αλεσμένο καφέ- αυτό μειώνει
σημαντικά τη γεύση του καφέ.
•Ηαναθέρμανση του καφέ δεν συνιστάται, καθώς οκαφές
έχει τη μέγιστη γεύση του αμέσως μετά την παρασκευή του.
•Μια καθαρή καφετιέρα είναι απαραίτητη για την παρασκευή
καφέ με εξαιρετική γεύση. Καθαρίζετε τακτικά όπως
ορίζεται στην ενότητα "Φροντίδα και συντήρηση".
•Αποτρέψτε τη συσσώρευση λαδιού: Μια μικρή ποσότητα
λαδιού στην επιφάνεια του παρασκευασμένου καφέ
οφείλεται στην απελευθέρωση λαδιού από τους
καβουρδισμένους κόκκους καφέ. Οι έντονα καβουρδισμένοι
κόκκοι καφέ απελευθερώνουν περισσότερο λάδι από
άλλους. Οτακτικός καθαρισμός της καφετιέρας σας θα
αποτρέψει τη συσσώρευση λαδιού.
Φροντίδα και συντήρηση
•ΠΡΟΕΙΔΟΠΟΙΗΣΗ: Πάντα να αποσυνδέετε το καλώδιο
τροφοδοσίας από την πρίζα και να αφήνετε το προϊόν να
κρυώσει εντελώς πριν το καθαρίσετε ήτο αποθηκεύσετε.
•Το καλάθι φίλτρου μπορεί να τοποθετηθεί στο επάνω ράφι
του πλυντηρίου πιάτων για καθαρισμό ήνα πλυθεί στο χέρι
με ζεστό σαπουνόνερο. Το επαναχρησιμοποιούμενο φίλτρο
πλέγματος πρέπει να πλένεται στο χέρι. ΣΗΜΕΙΩΣΗ: Όταν
πλένεται στο πλυντήριο πιάτων, το χρώμα των εξαρτημάτων
μπορεί να φαίνεται να ξεθωριάζει. Αποκαταστήστε τα
γυαλίζοντάς τα με ένα μαλακό, στεγνό πανί.
•Σκουπίστε την εξωτερική επιφάνεια της καφετιέρας με ένα
μαλακό, υγρό πανί. Μην χρησιμοποιείτε μεταλλικά μαξιλάρια
καθαρισμού ήλειαντικά καθαριστικά.

Αφαίρεση αλάτων
Για να διατηρήσετε την αποτελεσματική λειτουργία της
καφετιέρας σας, απομακρύνετε τις ορυκτές εναποθέσεις που
αφήνει το νερό. Τουλάχιστον μία φορά το μήνα,
χρησιμοποιήστε ένα οικιακό διάλυμα καθαρισμού με νερό και
ξύδι, όπως περιγράφεται παρακάτω, για να αποτρέψετε τη
συσσώρευση ορυκτών εναποθέσεων. Εάν το νερό στην
περιοχή σας έχει ιδιαίτερα υψηλή περιεκτικότητα σε
μεταλλικά στοιχεία, κάντε το κάθε δύο εβδομάδες.
•Γεμίστε το ποτήρι με 1 μέρος λευκό ξύδι και 3 μέρη κρύο
νερό.
•Ρίξτε το μείγμα νερού και ξιδιού στο δοχείο νερού.
•Τοποθετήστε τη γυάλινη καράφα χωρίς το καπάκι πάνω στη
βάση.
•Πατήστε το κουμπί Έναρξη- ηενδεικτική λυχνία θα ανάψει.
ΣΗΜΕΙΩΣΗ: Κατά τη διάρκεια του καθαρισμού, παράγεται
περισσότερος ατμός από ό,τι κατά την παρασκευή καφέ.
•Όταν το διάλυμα νερού-ξυδιού σταματήσει να στάζει μέσα
στη γυάλινη καράφα, αφήστε την καφετιέρα να κρυώσει για
τρία λεπτά. Αφαιρέστε, ξεπλύνετε και αντικαταστήστε το
φίλτρο πλέγματος και ρίξτε ξανά το μείγμα νερού-ξυδιού στο
δοχείο νερού.
•Πατήστε το κουμπί Έναρξη. Αφήστε όλο το διάλυμα
καθαρισμού να στάξει μέσα στο Γυάλινο Καφέ.
•Απορρίψτε το διάλυμα καθαρισμού.
•Αφήστε την καφετιέρα να κρυώσει για τουλάχιστον τρία
λεπτά και, στη συνέχεια, αφαιρέστε, ξεπλύνετε και
αντικαταστήστε το καλάθι φίλτρου.
•Ξεπλύνετε την καφετιέρα ετοιμάζοντας ένα ποτήρι με κρύο
νερό.
•Αφήστε την καφετιέρα να κρυώσει εντελώς και καθαρίστε
την πλένοντας τη γυάλινη καράφα, το καλάθι φίλτρου και το

επαναχρησιμοποιούμενο φίλτρο πλέγματος σε
σαπουνόνερο- ξεπλύνετε και αφήστε να στεγνώσει.
Σωστή απόρριψη του προϊόντος
Αυτό το προϊόν κατατάσσεται στην κατηγορία
του ηλεκτρικού ήηλεκτρονικού εξοπλισμού και
δεν πρέπει να απορρίπτεται μαζί με άλλα
οικιακά ήεμπορικά απορρίμματα. Ηοδηγία για
τα απόβλητα ηλεκτρικού και ηλεκτρονικού
εξοπλισμού (ΑΗΗΕ) (2012/19/ΕΕ) έχει
θεσπιστεί για την ανακύκλωση των προϊόντων
ώστε να ελαχιστοποιούνται οι επιπτώσεις στο
περιβάλλον, να αντιμετωπίζονται τυχόν
επικίνδυνες ουσίες και να αποφεύγεται η
υπερπλήρωση των χώρων υγειονομικής
ταφής. Επικοινωνήστε με τις τοπικές σας αρχές
για πληροφορίες σχετικά με τη σωστή απόρριψη του
ηλεκτρικού και ηλεκτρονικού εξοπλισμού.

Anleitung
• Es wird ein kurzes Netzkabel mitgeliefert, um das Risiko zu
verringern, sich in einem längeren Kabel zu verheddern oder
darüber zu stolpern. Verlängerungskabel sind erhältlich und
können verwendet werden, wenn sie mit Sorgfalt verwendet
werden:

• Die angegebene elektrische Leistung des Verlängerungska-
bels muss mindestens so groß sein wie die des Geräts;
• Das Gerät ist mit einem geerdeten Stecker ausgestattet, das
Verlängerungskabel muss ein geerdetes 3-adriges Kabel

• Das längere Kabel sollte so verlegt werden, dass es nicht
über eine Arbeitsplatte oder einen Tisch gezogen wird, wo
Kinder daran ziehen oder darüber stolpern können.
