ASSEMBLY
PRIOR TO ASSEMBLY
Double check the state of all components of your Windsurf Foil prior to every use. The Foil’s
mast, body and both wings should be smooth and free of sharp cutting edges that can
cause serious injury to either you or somebody else. All components should be free of any
blemishes or stress fractures that may show signs of excessive wear and tear. The screws
should be in good condition and free of any corrosion. All components should be clean of
sand, dirt or grit prior to assembly. If you have any doubt as to the state of your Windsurf Foil,
do not use it and contact your point of purchase for further information.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
FRONT WING
1. Place the board on the ground, deck
down, on a protected surface (board bag,
grass, sand… etc.).
2. Insert the head of the foil into the fin box
so that the foil is held firmly in place. At
this stage no need to insert the foil fully
into the board.
3. Place the front wing on the body, so that
it fits snugly in the front insert. Line up the
screw holes on the wing with the inserts
on the body, and gently hand tighten the
screws.
Attention : All Foil Assembly screws are the
same size except one, and this largest Foil
Assembly Screw is for the middle of the
front wing.

4. Screw the front wing to the foil with the key provided, starting with the larger middle
screw, then the front, and finally the rear. Ensure that the front wing is held snugly in place
on the body during tightening. Screws should be hand tight so that the wing is held firmly in
place without play. Be careful not to over-tighten the screws.

FOIL TO BOARD
7. Place two hands on the body of the Foil,
one towards the front wing and the other
towards the rear wing, and now re-insert
the head of the foil into the fin box.
8. While applying downwards pressure,
move the foil gently from front to back
to insert it into the fin box. Don’t hesitate
to place your front foot 40 cm in front of
the box to avoid board from lifting up or
moving around too much.
9. Once completed, the mast of the foil
should be inserted straight into the fin box
and held snugly in place, even without the
screws inserted.
