Operation
ALWAYS ensure you have read through all of the safety precautions and instructions before
using the tool and that you feel confident operating the tool.
BE AWARE that before connecting the tool to the air supply air tool oil should be added into
the air inlet fitting of the die grinder before each use.
1. Attach the quick connector into the air inlet of the die grinder. To ensure a tight
connection use PTFE tape around the thread of the quick connector and then tighten
the quick connector into the air inlet. Ensure there is a secure connection.
2. Attach the collet into the spindle on the die grinder.
3. Find the appropriate grinding stone for the workpiece.
4. Attach the grinding shank fully into the collet.
5. The collet nut (on the spindle) may need retightening with the hand wrench. This will
secure the collect and grinding stone together.
6. Connect the air supply hose to the quick connector.
7. Turn on the air compressor and set the regulator to 90PSI. DO NOT exceed 90PSI.
BE AWARE of where the air hose is positioned and that it does not cause a tripping
hazard.
8. Ensure you have a secure grip on the die grinder and hold with both hands.
9. Safely push the lever forward to release the throttle lever and gently press the lever.
10. Changing the pressure on the lever will increase/decrease the speed on the die grinder.
Note – The die grinder always turns the grinding stone in a clockwise rotation.
11. Gently apply the grinding stone to the workpiece. Slowly move the grinding stone to the
left and right.
12. Release the lever when you have completed. The safety will automatically return to the
locked position when the lever is fully released.
13. Turn off the air compressor.
14. Squeeze the lever to release all the compressed air in the tool.
15. Disconnect the air hose from the die grinder.
16. Remove the grinding stone from the die grinder.
