Instructions for cleaning and sterilization
Briot tracer
Scan 8
This instruction guide aims to clean and sterilize your
Scan 8 for common use . For other instructions, please refer to the USER MANUAL.
For your comfort it’s recommended to clean the device regularly. Please clean the instrument following these
instructions. Cleaning conducted by a process other than the one described in this instruction may cause
deterioration or damage to the equipment.
Briot Tracer (Scan 8)
Briot Edger Entry Range (Emotion 2 / Emotion 2 Groove / PerCeption 2 / PerCeption 2 Groove)
The screen must be wiped gently without
applying excessive force.
1- Cleaning of the touchscreen
Clean the screen after every use with Cidalkan wipes or other alternative.
2- Cleaning the ON/OFF switch
The ON/OFF switch at the back of the device should be cleaned with Cidalkan wipes everytime
after switching off the machine.
Recommendation is to clean it after you take off your gloves.
3- Cleaning of tracer drawer
Clean the tracer drawer and cover after every use with
Cidalkan wipes or other alternative.
Only use the below recommended
solutions. Other solutions may damage or
discolour the device.

5- Cleaning of the external
body of the device
Please proceed to clean regularly the exterior of
the device. Most important the region around the
touchscreen, the region around the drawer and around

the top, bottom, and front surfaces.

4- Cleaning of the toolsbox
Proceed to a regular cleaning of the exterior of the
toolsbox and particularly handles.
