IMPORTANT NOTES
LOOKING AFTER THE PRODUCT
•Never apply excessive force to the structures or controls (knobs, switches).
•Do not stress the speaker in transit or during use.
•Do not place the device close to heat sources, in damp or dusty places or close to
strong magnetic fields.
•Where possible, do not place the speaker close to units which generate strong
interference, such as radio and TV sets, monitors, etc.
•Never insert foreign bodies or liquids of any kind inside the device, for any reason.
•Clean using a soft brush or an air jet only; never use detergents, solvents or alcohol.
•When disconnecting leads from sockets, always take hold of them by the connector
and not by the lead itself, and when winding take care to avoid knots or twisting.
•Do not expose the speaker to direct sunlight.
CONNECTING TO THE MAINS
•To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not make connections with wet hands.
•Make sure that the mains voltage is the same as that indicated on the control panel
(above the mains switch).
•Connect the speaker to a mains socket with earth contact.
CONNECTING TO A MIXER
•Always use good quality screened cables.
•Before making the connections, check that all the speakers you are about to connect
are switched off. You will avoid noisy, if not hazardous, signal peaks.

1. HI DEFINITION
Use this control to adjust the brightness of the sound.
2. MIX OUT
This 6.3mm jack socket gives a combined output signal of the MIC and LINE inputs.
3. MIC LEVEL
This controls the output level of the MIC input (4)
4. XLR MIC INPUT
Input for microphone.
5. LINE LEVEL
This controls the output level of the LINE input (6)
6. XLR LINE INPUT
Line level input for external devices such as a mixing desk.
7. LINK
This 6.3mm jack socket gives the same signal as the LINE input. This can be used to
connect different devices to the same input source.
8. GND LIFT
This switch allows the amplifier ground to be disconnected from the chassis. However,
the speaker ground connection remains unchanged. This is useful in situations where
ground loops occur, causing hissing if more than one device is connected to the same
power supply socket.
™
9. SIGNAL LIMIT LED
When this LED is on, it shows the intervention of the limiting device as the level of the
signal is over the safety limit.
10.ON LED
Indicates that the speaker is receiving power.
11.AC INPUT
Connect to power using the cable supplied from the factory with the loudspeaker.
Internally this input is fitted with a fuse (T2AL for the 250VAC version ---T4AL for the
120 VAC version) that can be taken out with a screwdriver opening the wicket.
WARNING: Remove power cable before replacing the fuse.
12.POWER SWITCH
Switches power to the speaker ON/OFF

Sub Woofer Rear Panel Diagram
N.B.: the drawing refers to the controls and connectors on the metal back panel.
1. XLR OUTPUT LEFT/RIGHT
These XLR balanced outputs give a line out for connection to the CX-live satellites.
2. OUTPUT XOVER-FLAT switch
This switch when ON activates a filter which will remove frequencies below 150Hz from
the output signal (1). When the switch is OFF a non-filtered signal will be sent.
3. LEVEL trimmer
Trimmer for regulating the level of the signal reaching the power amplifier, to allow it to be
adapted to the level of the sound source connected.
4. PHASE 0° - 180° switch
Through this switch you can invert the phase of the signal on the woofer.
5. Jack-XLR INPUT connectors
Jack-XLR input connectors for connection of the signal to be amplified.
6. L/MONO - STEREO switch:
Activating this button will send a mono signal only to the CX-Live Sub from the left input
channel. When deactivated the input signal is stereo so that you may utilize both inputs.
7. GND LIFT switch
This switch allows the amplifier ground to be disconnected from the chassis. However, the
speaker ground connection remains unchanged. This is useful in situations where ground
loops occur, causing hissing if more than one device is connected to the same power
supply socket.
8. LED LIMIT
When this LED is on, it shows the intervention of the limiting device as the level of the
signal is over the safety limit.
9. ON LED
