General information
Reading and storing the user guide
This user guide accompanies the pulse watch with
finger touch and sleep tracking. It contains import-
ant information about operation and care. For im-
proved readability, the “pulse watch with finger
touch and sleep tracking” will be referred to only as the “pulse
watch”.
Before using the pulse watch, read the user guide carefully.
This particularly applies to the safety notes. Failure to comply
with the user guide may result in damage to the pulse watch.
Store the user guide for further use.

The following symbols and signal words are used in this user
guide, on the pulse watch or on the packaging.

This signal symbol/word designates a hazard with moderate

Proper use
The pulse watch is only intended for use as a wristwatch as
well as a workout aid for measuring and displaying your pulse.
The pulse watch is only intended for private use and is not
suitable for commercial, therapeutic or medical applications. It
is not a children’s toy or a medical device.
Only use the pulse watch as described in this user guide. Using
it in any other way is deemed improper and may result in
damage to property or personal injury.
The manufacturer or vendor cannot be held liable for damag-
es incurred through improper or incorrect use.

WARNING!
Risk of accident/injury!
Do not use the pulse watch when you are driving a vehicle. It
is dangerous to look away from the road. This could cause an
accident, which could injure you or other persons.
− If you would like to operate the pulse watch, stop the car
or let a passenger perform settings.

Risk of injury!
If used improperly, battery fluid may leak out of the battery.
Touching damaged and leaked batteries could result in injury
and chemical burns.
− Do not touch leaky batteries. If you do come into contact
with battery acid, wash the affected area thoroughly and
rinse it with plenty of water. If leaked battery fluid comes
into contact with your eyes, also seek medical attention.

Risk of swallowing and choking!
If children play with the packaging, small parts or batteries,
they could swallow them, choke on them or injure themselves
on them.
− Make sure that children do not play with the packaging
wrapper. They could swallow it and choke.
− If swallowed, batteries could pose a risk of death. There-
fore, store the batteries so that they are not accessible for
small children. If a battery is swallowed, seek immediate
medical attention.

The pulse watch is not a medical device; it is a workout aid for
measuring and displaying your pulse.
− Always consult your physician before you begin a regular
workout routine.
− If you wear a pacemaker, consult your physician before
using the pulse watch.

Improper handling of the pulse watch may result in damage.
− Do not use the pulse watch if it exhibits visible damages.
− Do not place any heavy objects on the pulse watch.
− Do not exert any pressure on the pulse watch.
− Protect the pulse watch against impacts.
− Keep sharp objects away from the pulse watch.
− Do not submerge the pulse watch in water or other liquids
for a prolonged period of time.
− You can use the pulse watch at ambient temperatures
between 14 °F and 140 °F (-10 °C and +60°C).

− Do not subject the display of the pulse watch to bright
sunlight or ultraviolet radiation.
− Keep the pulse watch away from hot surfaces.
− Do not heat up the pulse watch.
− Do not expose the pulse watch to direct sunlight or other
heat sources, e.g. in a vehicle.
− Do not throw the pulse watch into open fire.
− Avoid very strong magnetic fields (e.g. electric welding
equipment, transformers) as they could cause irregulari-
ties when measuring time.

*The specification of m/ft refers to the air overpressure used
in connection with the watertightness test in accordance with
DIN8310 for the pulse watch.
− Do not push the buttons if the pulse watch is wet. Water
may penetrate the housing through the buttons and dam-
age the clockwork.
− Keep in mind that salt and thermal water could cause met-
al parts to corrode.
− It is recommended that you do not wear the pulse watch
in the sauna as condensation could form due to the dif-
ferences in temperature and damage the pulse watch as
a result.

− Movements during swimming or a water stream
(e.g.when showering or washing your hands) could
cause peaks in pressure. The applicable areas of the pulse
watch are subjected to significantly greater forces than
presumed based on the depth alone. Only watches with a
classification of 50 m (160 ft) can be considered water-tight
(showering possible). Only watches with a classification of
100 m (328 ft) or more can be worn when swimming.
− Water tightness is not a permanent property as the func-
tion of integrated gaskets may deteriorate with daily use
or be damaged by an impact or fall.
− Subjecting the pulse watch to substantial changes in
temperature, e.g. while sunbathing followed by a jump
in cooler water, could cause condensation to form in the
