Condenser Cleaning
A blocked condenser will invalidate the warranty. The function of the condenser is to dissipate
heat from the cabinet. It isa delicate item and is easilydamaged.WARNING: Do notdamage the
refrigerant circuit. The condenser is fan assisted and as such it is very prone to becoming
blocked with dust. The more frequently it is cleaned, the more efficiently the cabinet will run and
the longer it will last. Cleaning the condenser once every three months is recommended as a
minimum service interval. However in extremely dusty environments the operation may need to
be performed more frequently. It is the users’ responsibility to keep the condenser clean and free
of dust.
- To clean the condenser, first unplug the cooler from the mains power socket.
- Unscrew the compressor compartment cover at the rear.
- The condenser is the matrix positioned next to thefan motor and it has an appearance similar to
a car radiator.
- If there is a filter on the left side of condenser, please firstly pull it out and remove all dust on it
gently.
- Take the suction hose from a vacuum cleaner and gently remove all dust from the condenser
and the compressor compartment.
- A soft brush will suffice if a vacuum is not available.
Never scrub or use harsh methods on the condenser because it is fragile and easily damaged.
Never use water at the rear of the cooler.
Refit the rear cover and plug back into the mains.
