TERRA MAGNA MATTRESS
INSTRUCTIONS & WARNINGS
Congratulations on your recent purchase of a Darche Terra Magna Mattress. Prior to first use, please thoroughly
read the instructions and warnings below. Should you have any questions or require assistance, contact your

Your Terra Magna mattress has been tightly vacuum packed for transportation reasons. Manufactured using
19Kg/m3 Hi density open cell foam enclosed in an air tight construction, thousands of tiny pockets will
expand as air is drawn in via the open valves.
Prior to first use, please open all valves and allow foam to expand. Initial inflation times may vary depending on
ambient temperature. Warmer weather and exposure to direct sunlight for up to 8 hours will speed up this process.
During this process it is recommended to roll the mattress tight and then release up to 3 times.
When using the mattress, allow up to 30 minutes for proper or desired inflation and comfort level. As the cells gain
memory from continual use, inflation times will decrease.
Inflation times may vary depending on ambient temperature. Warmer temperatures will speed up inflation whilst
cooler temperatures may prolong it.
SITE SELECTION
Use within tent, swag, on top of stretcher, home
etc. Do not use directly on top of sharp objects.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
INFLATION
1. Toinate,releasevalvecapslocatedatendofmattressplus2xsidevalvecapsbyturninganti-clockwise.
2. Oncemattressisnolongerdrawingairandself-inationiscomplete,tightenvalvecapsbyturningclockwise.
NOTE: ENSURE CAPS ARE SCREWED ON CORRECTLY TO AVOID CROSS THREADING. CROSS THREADING WILL
CREATE AN INSUFFICIENT SEAL ALLOWING AIR TO ESCAPE OR DRAW WHEN NOT DESIRED.
DO NOT USE COMPRESSOR OR HAND PUMP TO INFLATE MATTRESS.
DEFLATION
1. Unscrewandreleaseallvalvecapsbyturninganti-clockwise.
2. Withvalvesinopenposition,startrollingthemattressfromtheoppositeend.
3. Whenrollingiscomplete,closeallvalvesandtightencapsbyturningclockwise.
4. Repeat process if required.
5. Secure holding straps and stow mattress in carry bag.
NOTE: TO ASSIST WITH DEFLATION, USE YOUR KNEES TO HOLD THE MATTRESS BETWEEN ROLLS.
FOR TERRA MAGNA 1100 AND TERRA MAGNA 1400, 2 PEOPLE MAY BE REQUIRED TO DEFLATE
AND ROLL THE MATTRESS.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
CLEANING
Ensuringallthevalvesareclosed,cleanyourmattresswith
warm water and mild detergent, using a cloth or soft sponge.
Do not place the mattress in a dryer or washing machine.
Rinse well and air dry after cleaning.
DO NOT EXPOSE TO PETROLS, OILS OR
HARSH CHEMICALS
STORAGE
Correctstorageisvital.Alwaysensurethemattressisclean
anddrybeforepacking.Ifthemattresswaspackedupwet,
unpackandallowtodrywithin24hours.Moistureordirtleft
onthemattresswillcausemildewtodevelopquickly
causingpermanent damage.
Tokeepyourmattressinoptimumworkingorder,
periodicallyunroll it and allow air cells to draw air. Keeping
the mattress rolledupwithvalvesclosedforlongperiodsof
timemaydamage air cells and limit their ability to draw air.
FAULTS CAUSED BY INCORRECT STORAGE ARE NOT
COVERED BY WARRANTY.
SUITABILITY
This mattress has been designed for general camping use in
normal conditions.
NOT SUITABLE FOR EXTREME CONDITIONS
12 MONTH WARRANTY
Darche will replace or repair any Darche product at its
discretion that is subject to faulty manufacturing or
workmanshipincludingmaterials.
EXCLUSIONS:Theabovewarrantyislimitedto
manufacturing and materials defects. Not including damage
caused by misuse or abuse, wear and tear, condensation,
extremeweather,accidents,incorrectsetup,damage
caused by mould, insects, animals or children. This also
excludesaccidentalpunctureorpiercingoftheairmattress,
and damage caused by a jammed, snagged zipper or
excessiveforceappliedtozippercausingfailure.
MAKING A CLAIM:Tomakeaclaiminrelationtotheabove
manufacturer’s warranty please ensure you retain your
purchasereceipt.Warrantyclaimsmustbelodgedonthe
warranty portal on the Darche website: https://darche.
com.au/warranty/. Product subject to warranty will be

assessment is payable by consumer.
CONSUMER RIGHTS:Ourgoodscomewithguarantees
thatcannotbeexcludedunderAustralianlaw.Youare
entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and
for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss
ordamage.Youarealsoentitledtohavegoodsrepairedor
replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and
failure does not amount to a major failure.
