new devices Type DATAEAGLE 2XXX Com-
pact®.
A detailed description can be found in the
Installation and commissioning manual.
Installation and operation may be
carried out only by qualified special-
ist personnel.
Static charges can damage electron-
ic devices. Remove electrostatic dis-
charge from your body before touch-
ing the device!
New devices are pre-configured in
the factory. Further settings are not
necessary.
Step 1: Configure DIL switches
I/O modules with 6 digital I/Os: Each chan-
nel is configured with 2DIL switches. The first
DIL switch defines whether the input is de-
signed with or without pull-up resistor. The
second DIL switch defines whether the chan-
nel works as an input or as an output.

räten Typ DATAEAGLE 2XXX Compact®.
Eine ausführliche Beschreibung finden Sie in
der Montage- und Inbetriebnahmeanleitung.
Installation und Bedienung dürfen
nur von qualifiziertem Fachpersonal
durchgeführt werden.
Statische Aufladungen können elekt-
ronische Geräte beschädigen. Entla-
den Sie die elektrische Aufladung Ih-
res Körpers bevor Sie das Gerät be-
rühren!
Neugeräte sind werkseitig vorkonfi-
guriert. Weitere Einstellungen sind
nicht notwendig.
Schritt 1: DIL-Schalter konfigurieren
I/O-Module mit 6 digitalen I/Os: Jeder Kanal
wird mit 2DIL-Schaltern konfiguriert. Der
erste DIL-Schalter legt fest, ob der Eingang
mit oder ohne Pullup-Widerstand ausgelegt
ist. Der zweite DIL-Schalter legt fest, ob der
Kanal als Eingang oder Ausgang arbeitet.

Step 2: Install unit on top-hat rail
Place the unit diagonally from above
on the top-hat rail.
Press the unit strongly downwards
Step 3: Install antenna cable
Connect the antenna cable to the
antenna connection of the radio mod-
ule.
The radio module may be damaged
if the antenna cable is fastened too
tight.
Connect the antenna cable only
hand-tight.
Install the antenna at the designated
place
Step 4: Install I/O plug
Attach the I/O plug onto the according
I/O sockets at the I/O module.
Step 5: Connect power supply
Connect the power supply according
to the diagram shown below. The
24 V supply of the control cabinet
can be used.
Connect the PE cable to the radio
module.
Schritt 2: Einheit auf Hutschiene installieren
Setzen Sie die Einheit von schräg oben
auf die Hutschiene.
Drücken Sie die Einheit kräftig nach
unten.
Schritt 3: Antennenkabel installieren
Verbinden Sie das Antennenkabel mit
dem Antennenanschluss am Funkmo-
dul.
Zu festes Anziehen des Antennenka-
bels kann den Anschluss am Funk-
modul beschädigen. Schließen Sie
das Antennenkabel nur handfest an.
Befestigen Sie die Antenne an den
dafür vorgesehenen Platz.
Schritt 4: I/O-Stecker installieren
Stecken Sie die I/O-Stecker auf die
entsprechenden I/O-Buchsen am I/O-
Modul.
Schritt 5: Spannungsversorgung an-
schließen
Schließen Sie die Spannungsversor-
gung nach folgendem Schema an.
Dazu kann die 24V-Versorgung des
Schaltschranks verwendet werden.
Schließen Sie die PE-Leitung am
Funkmodul an.
