DESIGNATION
The Manual uses a series of symbols to draw the user’s attention to features, problems, and dangerous
situations as may be encountered in the course of the use and maintenance of the equipment.
NOTE!
This symbol indicates additional information about the rules, methods, and recommendations
for correct use of the equipment.

INTRODUCTION
This User manual provides the user with information on design and intended use of the DEZEGA RACK
for storing of self-contained self-rescuers (SCSR), (hereinafter - the rack), for the purpose of its proper
use and operation.
The manual describes the intended use and scope of application of the rack, its main technical
characteristics, scope of delivery instructions for assembly and mounting, operating conditions,
disposal procedures, information for ordering additional components and spare parts.
NOTE!
Be sure to read this User manual before using the rack.
The racks are manufactured in accordance with the technical documentation developed
by DEZEGA.
1. INTENDED USE
There are two types of racks: open and closed.
The open rack is designed for storing SCSRs in lamp rooms, and the closed rack is intended for storing
SCSRs in underground premises, including change-over stations. The closed type is equipped with
lockable doors and closed side walls in order to prevent unauthorized access to SCSRs.
Three versions for each rack type, depending on the type of stored SCSRs, are available for:
• waist-belt SCSRs Ci-30 KS, Ci-40, ROXY 40, ROXY 40.R, ROXY 30 (hereinafter referred to
as SCSRs models Ci and ROXY);
• shoulder-belt SCSRs 1PVM KS, SSS-1P KS, GORNYAK S-60MP1, GORNYAK-2 S-70MP1
(hereinafter referred to as SCSRs model 1PVM);
• shoulder- and waist-belt SCSR CARBO.
Depending on the version, the racks can be equipped with hooks for hanging the shoulder belts
(for shoulder-belt SCSRs).
Partition installation drawings depending on SCSR models are shown in steps 9 and 10 of section
“Assembly and mounting instructions”.
The racks are designed for use in closed rooms, non-heated and non-ventilated underground
rooms, including mines, at temperatures from minus 6°C up to plus 60°C.
The racks are delivered to the customer disassembled.
2. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Only persons who have carefully studied this User Manual, product design, and operation rules
are allowed to use the rack.
All rack components shall be used only for their intended purpose. The following is prohibited:
• use of non-standard components;
• use of racks with components that were deformed during transportation or loading.
Manufacturer of the Rack shall not be liable for using defective components in the assembly
process or deviations from the assembly instructions.
The racks are allowed to be filled only after the installation has been completed.
For safety reasons, installation of the rack shall be carried out by at least two persons. When
assembling racks and its components, it is prohibited to apply excessive force and a metal
hammer. If necessary, only a rubber hammer can be used.

Immediately replace damaged and deformed load-bearing components of the rack. Load-bearing
components are not covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.
Disassembly and restructuring of the racks shall be carried out only with no load.
