Power Button Press for 5 seconds to turn device on/off
2 4G network LED Stays on when network signal is available or when not in sleep mode. The
following light colours indicate signal strength levels.

Starting up
Press the power button for 5 seconds or connect device to a PC then let start up
automatically. All three LEDs will turn on initially to indicate device is starting up.
Driver Installation (one time only)
To use 4G broadband internet service through the Micro USB cable directly, you
will first need to install the device’s driver.
Connect the device to your computer using the Micro USB cable provided.
It is recommended that you power up the MiFi modem first before you insert the USB cable to your
computer’s USB port.
NB: If you have installed the RNDIS driver in your computer before, the mass storage will not appear. The
diver would have already been installed.

Installing Driver for Windows 7
When you connect your modem using the micro USB cable for the first time, ‘CD
Drive AutoPlay’ will appear.
Click ‘Run setup.exe,’ the driver will automatically install.
After driver is successfully installed, a connection should be established between device and computer. If no
connection was created, please restart computer, navigate to “Network connections”, open “Remote NDIS
properties” and ensure “TCP/IPv4” is ticked.

Installing Driver for Windows XP
When the modem is connected for the first time, the ‘Found New Hardware
Wizard’ will pop up. Please click ‘Cancel.’
During the installation, ‘Found New Hardware Wizard’ may pop again, click
‘Cancel’ and wait for the installation to complete. Once completed, you can start
using the device.
If ‘Found New Hardware Wizard’ does not pop up, navigate to ‘My Computer’. Click on ‘Start Menu’ and
select ‘My Computer’, a removable storage icon named ‘RX250’ will appear. Double-click “RX250” and
run ‘setup.exe.’ Installation should then begin automatically.

Installing Driver for Windows for Windows Vista
When you connect your modem using the micro USB cable for the first time, a
‘Found New Hardware Wizard’ will pop up.
Click ‘Cancel’ and wait a few seconds. The driver will be installed automatically.
Unplug and re-plug USB cable to complete setup. There will be new icon in
‘Network Connection’ window; this means the device is ready for use.
If connection to the device is not created after driver is successfully installed, please do the following: Restart
computer, navigate to “Network connections”, open “Remote NDIS properties” and ensure “TCP/IPv4” is
ticked.

Installing driver for Mac OS X
Connect the modem to your Mac computer using the Micro USB cable.
‘Network preference’ will automatically detect the device, as per below.
Click ‘Cancel.’
Click ‘OK’ when you see any pop up.
The setup would then be completed and you can use the modem with the Mac.

Setting up WiFi Connections
Connect to the default access point WiFi name [Digicel 4G Hotspot], use default
WEP security key [1234567890] as password.
Security Notice
It is recommended to change the default WiFi connection values for the MiFi
modem. Do this by opening an Internet browser, type ‘http://192.168.100.1’into
the URL address field and enter ‘Graphic User Interface,’ as shown below. Click on
‘Networking’ to make changes.

Switching back to Operation Mode
While device is in sleep mode, hold power button for 1 second.
NB: Only power/charging LED will appear on.
Shutting Down
Hold the power button for 3 seconds or until all LEDs turns off.
Switching to Sleep Mode
Hold the power button for 1 second. Power LED will blink if not being charged.
