1. Getting Started
Your machine is delivered ready – just refill unleaded petrol, 92/95
Starting the Machine:
• Start by pressing the ON button
• Open the gasoline tap
• Set the choke to ON
• Turn on the gas by pushing the throttle
• Turn the key to turn on the machine.
At the first run, it is important that the height adjustment is made so that the blades do not go into
the ground. Start by driving slowly forward and get used to the machine. Then the height
adjustment can be fine-tuned and the forward speed adjusted so that the machine works optimally
without being overloaded.
Spare parts
Always use original spare parts, otherwise the warranty will lapse! You can easily find the spare
parts
that fits the machine by scanning the scan code that sits on your machine's CE plate.

2. General warnings
Read and understand the user manual before using the machine.
The user must have read and understood the user manual as well as the safety regulations. The
user must be familiar with all the features of the machine. The machine must only be operated
when the user is sitting on the towing unit.
Operation warnings
• It must be ensured that screens and safety devices are in place before use.
• Children are not allowed to operate this machine.
• Pull the machine only according to the recommended units: garden tractors, and atv's.
• Do not leave the towing unit and machine unguarded when the engines are running.
• Never carry passengers on either the towing unit or on the machinery. Being hit by a
moving towing device can cause serious injury or death.
• When working with maintenance, the machine must be supported so that it cannot fall over
people. The towing unit must be stopped and the handbrake pulled.
• Safety distance is 20 meters when the machine is working.
• Do not wear loose hanging clothing when using the machine.
• Keep hands and feet away from rotating parts.
• When storing the machinery, it must be secured so that it cannot tip over, move, or fall
down on someone.
• DO NOT exceed the max cutting speed of 8km/h. When driving on slopes and over rough
terrain, the speed should be slowed down.
• Immediately replace broken parts.
Danger of squeezing and severed body parts
• Always keep your hands and feet away from moving/rotating parts when operating the
machine.
• Always clear the working area of foreign objects before starting work.
• Always wear approved safety equipment, such as glasses, hearing protection boots and
gloves. When the machine is operated.
WARNING
The warning, safety and operating instructions described in this manual do not cover all
conceivable situations that may arise. It should be understood by the user that common sense and
caution are factors that cannot be built into this product, but must be brought by the user.

3. Safety labels
Explanation of warning signs
This is a safety warning symbol. It is used to warn against potential dangers.
Observe all the safety notices that follow this symbol to avoid any injury or death.
DANGER – This indicates an immediate risk situation that,if not taken care, can result
in injury and death.
WARNING - Warning indicates that there is a risk which, if not careful, could result in
injury and death.
NOTE - Note indicates that - if not careful - can end in damage.
CAUTION - If you use the machine without regard to the symbols , you may be
injured or damage the machine.

4. Overview of the machine
Read the instruction manual before using the machine. Familiarize yourself with the function and
location of the individual controls and adjustment options. Save this user manual for future
reference.

5. Operation of the machine
The engine comes with oil. Refer to the engine manual for oil type and quantity.
Refill engine oil
1. The machine must stand on a level surface.
2. Remove the filler lid/dipstick to refill engine oil.
3. Refer to the engine manual for correct quantity. After filling, the lid/dipstick is installed again.
4. Check the amount of oil daily and top up as needed .
NOTE: During the run-in phase, the oil must be checked frequently.
CAUTION
DO NOT attempt to start the engine until the recommended amount and type of oil is topped up. If
this is not observed, any kind of warranty is waived.
Refill with petrol
1. Use only clean, fresh standard unleaded gasoline. 92/95
2. Do not mix oil in the gasoline.
3. Unscrew the cover slowly, do not overfill the tank but leave about 1 cm for the gasoline to
expand when heated.
4. Screw the cover back on and wipe up any spills.
DANGER - Inhalation Warning
Toxic fumes from the machine can kill you. Do not operate the machine in enclosed spaces, even
if they are ventilated. When refueling, the machine must be cold. Refuel only outdoors. Keep
open flames or sparks away from the area when refueling, otherwise there will be a risk of
explosion that could result in death or serious injury.
WARNING
Before putting the machinery into service , read and understand the following instructions and
safety instructions. Failure to do so and the machine is mis-operated can cause damage to
property, to the user and to spectators.

Using the machine
1. Only adults who have understood the content of these instructions should operate this
machine. Never allow children to operate this machine.
2. Never use this machine when there are other people or children nearby.
3. Tow this machine only after the recommended devices, such as garden tractors and ATVs.
4. Keep your hands and feet away from rotating blades, pulleys, frame and grass
ejection opening when the engine is running.
5. Do not operate this machine with bare feet or open shoes. Always wear solid
closed safety shoes.
6. Do not operate the machine when under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
7. Always pull the spark plug cap off the spark plug to avoid incorrect starting when
maintaining or working on the machine.
8. Never make any adjustments to the mower when the engine is running.
9. Always turn off the engine when no grass is mowed or when the machine is left unguarded.
10. Check all bolts and tighten them after the first hour of driving. After that, this is done on an
ongoing basis and as needed.
11. Do not operate the machine without safety guards and other equipment being properly in
place.
12. Never mow grass when driving in reverse. Look down and behind you before
backing with the mower.
13. Always stop and inspect the machine if you have hit a rock or other foreign object.
Repair if necessary before driving again.
14. Always clear the working area of stones, toys,etc. and wires before starting the machine .
15. Do not use the machine if it has been lost, damaged, or if it shakes heavily. Strong
shaking indicates an injury.
16. Avoid sudden turns, change in direction and speed.
17. Do not exceed the maximum driving speed of 8 kilometers per hour.
18. When the machine is running, the engine must always be at full throttle to get the best rock
out.
19. Cut only dry grass. Wet grass will clump and accumulate under the mower.
20. Always use a slower speed in tall or heavy grasslands. Some areas, if necessary, can
be mowed off twice.
21. To create a neatly mowed lawn, one should not mow more than 1/3 of the grass height in one
mowing.
WARNING
• Tragic accidents have occurred by the fact that the user is not aware of the presence of
children. Children are often attracted to grass mowing activities. Never assume that children
are the place where you last saw them.
• When the machine is operated, foreign objects will be thrown out, og they can hit one's eyes.
Therefore, always wear approved safety glasses when operating the machine.
• When the engine is running, sound waves are produced that can damage the human ear.
Always wear approved hearing protectors.

Connect the machine after the towing device
1. Check that the knife blades are not blocked by grass and other foreign objects.
2. Check all electrical connections for accumulated grass and other foreign objects
before operation.
3. Check the tires to make sure they have the right tire pressure.
TIRE WARNING
Do not pump too hard (max 30psi) and do not use worn tires or tires that cannot hold air.
Serious damage can occur if a tire explodes while the machine is being operated. Do not skip
the maximum speed of 8 kilometers per hour.
4. Check the engine oil before starting the engine.
5. Determine which towing position is best for your vehicle.
Option 1: Straight move
Option 2: Side mounted
NOTE : If the machine is pulled after a lawn mower with side ejection, the machine should be
side-mounted to the side where the towing unit does not eject, to prevent grass from being
thrown into the engine of the machine.
6. Adjust the cutting height (See Knife Height Adjustment).
7. Refer to the towing unit's owner's manual for correct towing .
8. Reverse the towing unit to the desired pulling position.
9. Connect the drawbar. It must be ensured that the clutch is locked before pulling the machine
off.
TOWING WARNING
Serious injury or death may occur if safety regulations are not followed. It must always be ensured
that the mower is locked to the towing device's towing device before driving it. Drive carefully. Pay
attention to the added length of the mower. Never exceed the maximum towing speed of 15
kilometers per hour. Never sit on or transport anything on the mower. Always turn off the
engine of the towing unit and the engine of the machine before leaving the machine.
Knife height adjustment
1. The engine of the machine must be turned off before adjusting the blade height.
2. The height of the knife blades is adjusted by turning the handle clockwise to lower the knife
blades and counterclockwise to raise the knife blades. See the illustration on the next page.
3. It must be ensured that the cutting deck is in wads and this is done by adjusting the draft boom.
NOTE: The drawbar can be side-shifted.

WARNING
Never adjust the blade height with the engine running. Knife blades will cut through the skins and
legs. Keep hands and feet away from the knife blades and draft areas. Serious injury can happen
when other people are allowed to be in the work area. Always keep spectators out of the working
area when operating the machine.
Starting the engine
1. It must be ensured that the parking brake of the towing unit is pulled and that the mower
is in a horizontal position and that the blade blade is set to the desired height.
2. Turn the fuel tap to the oleg position.
3. Set the throttle to the " position.
4. Insert the key and turn to the "ON" position.
5. Start the engine by turning the key to the starting position.
6. For cold engines – push the throttle down to activate the choke.
7. If the engine does not start, move the gas lever 1⁄4 and try again.
8. Always set the gas handle to full power when cutting.
9. Allow the engine to run a few minutes before starting mowing.
CAUTION
The key must not be in the starting position for more than 5
seconds. Always turn the fuel tap to the "OFF" position when
the engine is stopped. It should always be ensured that the
key is in the "OFF" position when the mower is not being
used

Before starting
1. Before starting, check that the mower and the towing enhed are securely interconnected.
2. Always wear approved safety equipment, eye and hearing protection, gloves and work
boots when operating the machine.
3. Check that the engine is set to run at full throttle for the best cutting performance.
4. Carefully rise on the towing device and start work at a slow speed. Do not exceed the
maximum working speed of 8 kilometers per hour.
CAUTION
Maximum cutting speed is 8 kilometers per hour. Maximum towing speed is 15 kilometers per
hour (the engine of the machine must be turned off here)
Stop the mower
1. Stop the towing unit, turn off the engine, turn the fuel tap to the "OFF" position and pull the
handbrake.
2. Turn off the engine of the machine by turning the key to the "OFF" position.
3. Turn the engine fuel tap to the "OFF" position.
4. Always remember to remove the key to avoid unauthorized use.
Transportation of the mower
1. It must be ensured that the engine is turned off.
2. Raise the mower so that the blades are in the highest position.
3. When transporting the machine, remove the spark plug cap from the spark plug and
ensure that it cannot make contact with the spark plug by mistake.
6. Maintenance and storage
WARNING
Failure to maintain and store the mower may result in warranty lapses.
General maintenance
• Before performing maintenance, the engine of the machine must be turned off.
• After any maintenance, it must be ensured that all screens and safety equipment are back
in place before operating the mower.
• Check all nuts and bolts daily for proper tightening.
• Lubricate pulley bearings, (the knife spindles). They should not be over lubricated. Use 1
pump for every 15-20 working hours.
• For each season, all moving parts should be cleaned and lightly lubricated as needed.
• Use a high-gloss machine paint to repair scratches or worn metal surfaces.
• Never use pressure washers or water hoses to clean the engine while it is running or hot.

Adjustment of the motor and knife pull straps
1. The motor belt must have the correct tightening at all times.
2. The mounting bolts of the engine are loosened and the engine is retracted until the engine
belt is tight. Then the bolts are tightened again.
3. The strap of the knife pull is spring-loaded and does not need adjustment.
Replacing knife blades
1. See the spare parts drawing on DK-TEC's website.
2. Set the mower in the highest position to access the blades of the knife.
3. Put bricks under the mower to prevent the mower from falling down and injuring .
4. Remove the two bolts and knife blades.
5. When assembling new parts, it is done above in the reverse order.
Removing tyres
1. Lower the mower all the way down by turning the handle clockwise.
2. Remove the knife height check bolt at the engine end and lift the wheel axis.
3. Remove the split and pull off the wheel .
Refer to the engine instruction manual for engine maintenance.
IMPORTANT:
If parts need to be changed, only use parts that meet the manufacturer's requirements. If parts
that do not meet the specifications are used, it may result in a safety breach or poor operation,
thereby voiding the warranty.
STORAGE
• Before storage, it must be ensured that the machine is clean and dry.
• The engine and fuel tap must be in the "OFF" position.
• Lubricate all surfaces and moving parts with a little oil to avoid rust.
• Store the machine indoors in monitored areas during heavy rain or during the winter months.
