Connection to
tractor
3. Operation
Behavior on the road, steering and braking capacity are affected when the machine is connected to
the tractor. The front axle of the tractor lights up in relation to the weight attached to the coupling to
the lifting arm: the load on the front axle must be at least 20% of the weight of the empty tractor.
Before connecting the machine to the 3-point connection, the tractor's safety device must be
positioned to make it impossible for unwanted and/or casual lifting and lowering. The three-point
connection of the tractor and the machine must match or be adjusted.
In the rod zone of the tractor's rear lights, there is a risk of injury due to pinching and cutting
points.
Do not use the external control to lift the machine.
In the transport position, the side stop of the rod and the control level of the lift are
blocked. Connection
WARNING
Always use the recommended safety equipment (safety shoes, work gloves and hearing protection)
Mounting the flail mower:
The machine is equipped with bolts for the tractor's three-point connection. Connecting the
machine to the tractor is done as follows:
• Approach the tractor to allow the lifting beams to coincide with the 3 point joint and connect
them with the relevant bolts
WARNING
Insert safety plugs into the holes. Make sure they are blocked.
• Connect the 3-point link to the upper link and adjust it to position the machine parallel to the
ground. Check that the blades or hammers on the rotor shaft, when the machine is on the
ground, do not touch the ground during rotation.
• To prevent the knives or hammers from touching the ground, it is necessary to regulate the
height of the rear roller via the blocking screw which is inserted into the selected hole.
WARNING
Place the tractor on a level surface. Before adjusting the flail mower, stop the engine and lock the
brake.
Hydraulic connection of lateral displacement
• Turn off the engine (if on), apply the parking brake and remove the ignition key from the ignition
panel.
• Check that there is no pressure in the tractor's hydraulic system.
• Connect the quick-coupling hydraulic pipes to the tractor after checking that all joints are
clean and in very good condition.
• Pressurize the hydraulic system. Check that it is not leaking and that the connection is correct.
• When the flail mower is finished operating, the hydraulic pipes released from the tractor must
be fixed in the corresponding supports for this purpose.

10
WARNING
Before connecting/disconnecting the hydraulic pipes, the engine of the tractor must be stopped.
Before connecting, turn off the hydraulic lines, stop the tractor engine and set both sensors in the
control levels to allow the oil to flow from the system.
Operating information
WARNING
Before operating the machine, make sure that there are no people within 70 meters of the machine.
Before exiting the tractor and during any maintenance operation, apply the parking brake, turn off
the engine and remove the ignition key from the ignition panel. Wait for all parts to stop
completely.
For a good result, we recommend working with a forward speed of 2.5 km/h on the grass round
and 2.0 km/h on crop residues.
During work, you must not make curves with the machine to the ground or work in the opposite
direction. Always lift the flail mower for changes of direction and curves and insert the power
supply first. During use, the flail mower can give way to dust emissions, in which case you are
working on dry ground. We recommend using tractors equipped with cabs with filters on the fan
system or using a suitable system to protect the respiratory tract, such as Dust masks or masks
with filter.
4. Maintenance
In the event of a breakdown, the user must stop operation immediately, turn off the engine and
remove the ignition key, and exit the tractor to investigate the problem. Only start operation again
when the cause of the breakdown has been found and resolved.
It is recommended that all maintenance operations be carried out by qualified and trained personnel
persons, with the machine disconnected from the tractor.
It is necessary to check daily the state of wear of the knives, hammers and their connection points.
If they are very worn or damaged, they are replaced immediately as their breakage can cause
dangerous protrusions of the components.
Front protection bar
The protective beams must always be in good condition to avoid possible throwing of materials
into the front zone.
Immediately replace such parts if bent or otherwise damaged. To replace the beams:
• Unscrew the screw on the left side of the machine and grab the fixing bolts
• Replace the damaged beams Use only original spare parts.

11
General maintenance
Carry out maintenance on the machine when it is disconnected from the tractor and placed on a
level
surface.
For any maintenance work, adjustment and cleaning must be carried out with the machine
standing on the ground, with the tractor's engine switched off, the power disconnected, the
handbrake pulled and the ignition key removed from the start panel.
The belt tension is checked every 4 hours of work. You must always be aware of its voltage.
WARNING
Perform maintenance only when the tractor engine is turned off and the power is removed, the
ignition key is removed and wait until all parts have come to a complete stop.
Adjusting the straps
Loosen screws A and B that block the support shaft and loosen the coin nut C Loosen the screws
that lock the gearbox on the support shaft D
Every 4 hours of work:
• Check the condition of the nuts
