IMPORTANT SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS
Read these instructions carefully and retain them for future use.
If this product is passed to a third party, these instructions must
be included.
When using electrical devices, basic safety precautions should always be
followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons
including the following:
WARNING The terminals marked with symbol carry dangerous
voltages and the external wiring connected to these terminals require
installation by an instructed person or the use of ready-made leads or
cords.
WARNING To prevent injury, this product must be securely
attached to the floor/wall in accordance with the installation instructions.
• Connect the power plug to a readily operable mains socket outlet
so that in case of an emergency the product can be unplugged
immediately. Use the power plug as the disconnection device.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a special cord
or assembly available from the manufacturer or its service agent.
• No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed
on the product.
• The product shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing water.
No objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the
product.
• The ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation
openings with items, such as newspapers, table-cloths, curtains etc.
• Unplug the product during lightning storms or when unused for long
periods of time.
• To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose the product
to rain or moisture.
• Before installing or operating the product refer to the information on
rear enclosure for electrical and safety information.
• Do not install the product in a confined or built-in spaces such as
a book case or similar unit. Maintain good ventilation around the
product.
• To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not perform any servicing
other than that contained in the user manual unless you are qualified
to do so.

• Refer all servicing to qualified personnel. Servicing is required when
the product has been damaged in any way, such as when the mains
supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects

To prevent possible hearing damage, do not listen at high
volume levels for long periods.
Precautions for using the remote control
• Use the remote control by pointing it towards the remote sensor. Any
items between the remote control and the remote sensor will interfere
with normal operation.
• Do not splash liquids on the remote control and do not place the
remote control in places with high humidity.
• Do not place the remote control under direct sunlight which will cause
heat deformation of the unit.
• If the remote sensor is under direct sunlight or strong lighting, the
remote control will not work. In this case, change the lighting or TV’s
position, or operate the remote control closer to the remote sensor.

Battery Warnings
WARNING Batteries shall not be exposed to excessive heat such
as sunshine, fire or the like.
CAUTION Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced.
Replace only with the same or equivalent type.
• Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of different types or
brands.
• Exhausted batteries should be immediately removed from product
and properly disposed.
• Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
• Do not dispose of batteries in fire.
• Remove batteries from product if it is not to be used for an extended
period of time unless it is for emergency purposes.
• If the battery leaks avoid contact with skin and eyes. Rinse affected
areas immediately with plenty of clean water, then consult a doctor.
Symbol Explanation
This symbol stands for “Conformité Européenne”, which
means “Conformity with EU-directives”. With the CE-marking
the manufacturer confirms that this product complies with
applicable European directives and regulations.

Refers to direct current (DC).
This product is classified as protection class II. This means
the product is equipped with reinforced or double insulation
between the mains supply circuit and the output voltage or
the casing. Therefore it does not require a safety connection
to an electrical earth (ground).

Before First Use

Using a screwdriver, fix the stands
(B) to the TV using 4 screws (G).
Connect the mains cord (E).
Positioning the TV
Place the TV on a solid horizontal surface such as a table or desk. For
ventilation, leave a free space of at least 10cm all around the TV. To
prevent any faults and unsafe situations, do not place any objects on top
of the TV.

WARNING Never place a TV in an unstable location. A TV may fall,
causing serious personal injury or death. Many injuries, particularly to
children, can be avoided by taking simple precautions such as:
– Using cabinets or stands recommended by the manufacturer of the
TV.
– Only using furniture that can safely support the TV.
– Ensuring the TV does not overhang the edge of the supporting
furniture.
– Not placing the TV on tall furniture (for example, cupboards or
bookcases) without anchoring both the furniture and the TV to a
suitable support.

– Not placing the TV on cloth or other materials that may be located
between the TV and supporting furniture.
– Educating children about the dangers of climbing on furniture to
reach the TV or its controls.
If your existing TV is being retained and relocated, the same
considerations as above should be applied.
Wall-hanging bracket
• An optional wall mount can be used with your TV. Consult with
your local dealer to purchase the recommended wall mount.
Carefully attach the wall mount bracket at the rear of the TV. Install
the wall mount bracket on a solid wall perpendicular to the floor.
If you are attaching the TV to other building materials, contact
qualified personnel to install the wall mount. Detailed instructions
will be included with the wall mount. Use a wall mount bracket that
adequately secures the TV to the wall with enough space to allow
connectivity to external devices.

• Disconnect the mains cord (E) before moving or installing the TV.
Otherwise electric shock may occur.
• Remove the stand before installing the TV on a wall mount by
performing the stand attachment in reverse.
• If you install the TV on a ceiling or slanted wall, it may fall and result
in severe injury. Use an authorised wall mount and contact the local
dealer or qualified personnel.
• Do not over-tighten the screws as this may cause damage to the TV.

2. For TVs with terminals towards the wall, in order to leave enough
space to use the terminals, a rubber spacer is needed together with
the screw to fix the wall mount. It is a small hollow support with an
internal diameter of 8mm, external diameter of 18mm and height of
≥30mm.

How to use the E-Manual
An E-Manual is built into your TV and can be displayed on the screen. To
learn more about your TV features, access your E-Manual by referring to
the following.

1. Press the MENU button to access the main menu.
2. Press the / button to select the submenu “SETUP”.
3. Press the button to enter the settings menu.
4. Press the / button to select “E-Manual”.
5. Press the OK button to enter the E-Manual to check the instructions
of basic functions.
6. The following buttons of the remote control are used to help you
operate the TV set in the E-Manual.

Troubleshooting
Before calling a service technician, check the following table for a
possible cause of the problem and some solutions.

Remote control
does not work
• Check the remote sensor on the remote
control.
• Change the batteries.
• Batteries are not installed correctly.
• Mains power is not connected.
Poor signal • This is usually caused by interference from
cell phones, walkie-talkies, automotive
ignition systems; neon lights, electric drills
or other electronic equipment or radio
interference sources.
Picture and sound Solution
No picture, no
sound
• Check the signal source.
• Plug another electrical device into the outlet
to make sure it is working or turned on.
• Mains plug contact with the socket outlet is
poor.
• Check the signal.
No sound, picture

• If no sound, do not mute or increase the
sound volume.
• Open the sound menu and adjust “Balance”.
• Check if a headphone has been inserted; if
so, unplug the headphone.

For no colour or poor picture quality, you may:
1. Adjust the colour option in menu settings.
2. Keep the TV at a sufficient distance from
other electronic products.
3. Try another channel, maybe it is an exit
broadcasting signal problem.
